2 This has been a horrible experience.
The Agency knew for several months we were coming from out of state to this house. When we got here:
1. It was FILTHY (we had to clean the house after driving 17 hours before we could have the movers unload our things)
2. No A/C (when I asked the property manager about it - she CLAIMED it was working fine - not sure how when the capacitor had to be replaced)
3. Garbage disposal was full of metal bottle caps and large plastic pieces
4. Dishwasher spewed water all over the counter and it wasn't installed correctly, and the hose was not even clamped - so the water could have been WAY worse.thankfully, we noticed the water spewing all over the counter and stopped it.
5. We rented this house because it had solar panels - again - they had AMPLE notice that we were coming. I was told to let them know when we had internet connected. We had it connected within 2 days of moving in (extra stuff had be done to connect - but that's just because the box in the house was old). I notified them right away. Solar still isn't connected. I had to continuously ping the property manager (about once or twice a week to REMIND her that we are still waiting!) and then she would claim she had set up an appointment weeks earlier (which never said anything to me about) - AND - it was on a day we weren't going to even be here.
I actually think she forgot (again) and when I pinged her - she jumped online and scheduled the first available (July 3rd) and when I said I wouldn't be home - oh - July 5th and 7th were also available.
Who schedules things and doesn't check with the resident to see if they are going to be home - when they NEED to be home?
And then the icing on the cake - she takes NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever for anything. Everything is someone else's fault.
She has no control over anything. SOOOOO.if you are looking to rent - look somewhere else.
I had no problems with this rental company and would rent with them again. They were responsive when I need something I their team was good to work with!
