The Allure Apartments, Cedar Park TX

I like to write about my experience. Last week, my family and I went to Austin. We plan to move there next summer. We met Ms. Lisa. She was wonderful, smiling, and welcoming. She amazed us with all the details. It was a wonderful and useful meeting for me and my family. So I would like to thank her. It is a wonderful place.amazing

I love this place! It has a 24 hr fitness center and a pool! It's great for kids with kid friendly resident events so you can get to know your neighbors!

Just moved in, love the staff here and the community is beautiful. Thank you Kara (property manager) and Brenna (assistant manager) for being so great and helping me through my move in. I’m in love with my apartment and am excited to live here for the next few years.:)

I wouldn't recommend this apartment to any one. I would have given them 0 stars if Google allows it. Absolutely reckless attitude from the maintenance staff.

We leased a 2 bedroom apartment with an attached garage in this community a month ago. Although our woes started from the day one the issues still weren't addressed.

1. The maintenance staff doesn't attend even emergency calls. The Lights go off in the main hall and Garage daily as the circuit trips up to 5 times in a day. They still haven't addressed this problem even after one month.
2. There's malfunction in the main Bath shower head. Maintenance staff is either too dumb or don't want to address the issue.
3. The light bulbs go out one by one. They don't check the light bulbs before renting out again.
4. Refrigerator handle broke.
4. Lots of cockroaches in the apartment.
5. Dishwasher is I'll maintained. Someone meddled with its inlet pipe and they don't have a clue until we figured it out.
6. Washer leaks out water.
7. Fire Alarm went off in the middle of the night as it ran out of batteries. And the maintenance staff isn't bothered to change them. Its not been attended to even now.
8. Leasing office staff don't attend to your calls. Most of the calls are forwarded to their Head office.
9. The garage door didn't close right after we shifted our stuff into it, As it is obvious that garage remote doesn't work properly. They replaced the remote after 15 days.

The maintenance work wasn't completed after the previous tenants moved out still the apartment leased out to us.

Awful place, it used to be decent value, but the quality has been consistently declining over the last few years. It is now under Berkshire communities, which seems to jump at any opportunity to charge extra fees or enroll tenants on unwanted “benefit” programs. Stay away unless you absolutely can’t afford better and even then they are also great at raising rent for declining facilities and living experience, so I can’t imagine that being worthwhile for anyone.

This is not your ordinary apartment. This is a community that will truly allow you to be community. This is a place where the word HOME is true to the core. Safety, Cleanliness, and an amazing office staff truly make this place every bit of HOME. Y'all Cameron and Lisa, even Brenna will truly be a blessing to work with. So if you are looking for an amazing place to reside. Come to the Allure. You won't be sad that you did.

Believe me when I say, keep looking. As you can see from the other reviews, terrrible management, facilities are not kept up well or at all, in a year they will raise your rent 200 or tell you to leave. Very unprofessional and just negative in so many ways. Don’t waste your time. UPDATE. So I finally moved away from here and they are trying to charge me 1100 for damages, trash, and cleanup. I have heard so many people tell me they try to do this. I was forced to quickly move out, and as you can see from other photos the trash is a nightmare here and there was no way to remove trash. The apartment was clean when we left but after living there for 7 years some cleaning should be expected and not charged to the customer. The damage was the base boards that turn color because water leaking in the walls, which they just paint over and never fix the problem. The electricity in one bedroom didn’t work for years, and they could not fix it. Dog feces everywhere, you could not ever walk in the grass. The staff is incredibly rude and if they make a mistake you pay for it. They don’t answer phones or return emails. I was never offered a walk around at move out, or called to do one. Just sent a large bill one day and I feel that is retaliation for this review. There are many options in cedar park, don’t choose this one.

Moving to Allure has been great move for me and my wife, Ashleyh in the office has been very helpful and very nice. I would recommend Allure Apartments for your new home. Office is great with residents and that's what we like.

Honest review as a previous resident. I wasn’t going to bother but if I can help someone save money and time, I’ll do it.

- we and several other residents were falsely advertised
- the wifi didn’t work for the last 6 months we lived there.i frequently got disconnected from work meetings due to this
- the residents at this community never pick up their dog’s poop.don’t even get me started on the dog park that reeked of dog waste.management didn’t do anything about this.
- speaking of management you are lucky to get a response from them in less than a week.they don’t care about any of the residents who live here.
- the pool was rarely open since it spent most time being green than actually safe to swim in.

I could go on but I’ll leave you with this: they get old employees to write their “good” reviews. I know this. I’ve confirmed it. If you’re thinking about living here, refer to the several negative reviews with picture evidence below mine.

I've lived at The Allure a few years now and maintenance has always responded in a timely and friendly manner listening to my concerns. I'm so appreciative of Kara and the management team for all their efforts to assist me with a major maintenance issue that was no fault of The Allure. Kara provided a detailed update of her efforts and gave me such peace of mind in a stressful situation. It made me feel very cared for as a tenant. I enjoy living at The Allure and feel safe and proud to live here. The new exterior painting brought an even more modern clean look to the entire complex. Thanks so much!

We lived at the Allure for only a year. In that time, here's a few "highlights":

-Moved us into a unit with none of the features we were shown during tour. Upon bringing this to their attention they told us they could renovate and charge us an extra $300/mo

-Severe water stains from an unrepaired leak in master bathroom (pictured)

-Took over a month to get someone to fix the leak mentioned above. When that person finally showed up, they (a subcontractor, not an employee) were given the key to our apartment a day before they were scheduled to arrive and proceeded to let themselves in while my girlfriend was in the shower. No staff member was escorting them.

-Upon arrival, the subcontractor tore out our baseboards only to tell us they cant fix it. We were without baseboards for over a month.

-Massive orange stains on the counter upon move in. Management told us in no uncertain terms, we had to "live with it. "

-Gate was broken for most of the lease term (pictured)

-Industrial sized dumpster overflowing parked right outside another residential building for at least 2 months. Nails and other hazardous debris was left strewn about during that time.

I could keep going, but this place isnt worth the calories it would take to keep writing.

STAY AWAY.

This place has gone downhill in the past 3 years and it just keeps getting worse and all the good reviews are from then. The managers and management don’t seem to care and leave Lisa and Cameron to deal with their mistakes. The trash is always bad right now it looks like a junk yard. The pool is the reason we leased and this summer it was GREEN! The tables and chairs are never cleaned, the grill area is full of ants. Nothing luxury about allure except the price

Very happy with my experience at the allure! A place where you can call home! Very warm and inviting!

Overpriced.
The unit wasn't clean at move-in. Weather seals needed work. Spectrum Community WiFi is $25 more than in a home and the devices are overheating in an unventiled closet and are stacked from apartment to apartment instead of offset, stacking signals. The trash situation there was completely unmanaged, flowing unto the street every day. Trash wasn't picked up by any lawn or maintenance crew when they did work so it was blown into barbedwire around the property. No one enforced the leashing of animals and the collection of dog waste. The management claimed that I, a male, owned a piece of trash, a tampon that existed in the hallway when I moved in. Brie said she would remove it and refused to do so. Dog urine in the halls and on walkways. Other residents nearly run you over since there aren't any speed bumps, then they yell at you for saying something and also comically are so drunk they leave their car doors wide open at night in the rain. Management is a joke, like at most communities these days, and take your complaints as some kind of hostility. Do your job.

If you enjoy looking at dog poop everywhere you walk. This is the place for you. Terrible community and neighbors.

Nobody picks up after their pets here. As you walk through the community you’ll see piles of dog poop everywhere you look. Every grassy area has numerous poops and the dog park is the worst of it.

I've lived in apartments the majority of my life and this is my favorite one. The layout is perfect and the people in the office have always been really helpful and kind. It really does feel like home.

This place is beautiful and well kept, management is friendly and attentive. Great place to be.
