Absolutely wonderful service and the most gorgeous frame options! They do the most beautiful work and their collection of antique maps and prints blew my mind! A Houston Treasure!

I've used the Antiquarium for the majority of my framing and reframing for the last 25+ years. I've bought unframed prints from them and had prints I inherited reframed. They do absolutely beautiful work. Framing can be insanely expensive but they have always been willing to work with me to come up with satisfying alternatives that are in line with the value of what is being framed. I can't imagine going elsewhere for prints or framing.

This place has exceptional quality and rare finds. I found exactly what I sought, two large and lovely botanical prints from the late 1800s. We bought them unframed, but I had them do the framing.

The breadth of framing options is second to none. They are not inexpensive but the quality is superlative.

All in all I found a wonderful product and outstanding customer service.

My husband and I discovered The Antiquarium a fews years ago after moving to The Woodlands. Although there are definitely capable frame shops in our area there is nothing like Antiquarium for framing historic or special works of art, or any works of art for that matter. The most recent piece they framed for us was particularly challenging as it was a rather large original 1930's vintage poster from Paris on linen backing. Stephen Gase was the expert we worked with and he did a beautiful job helping choose the perfect frame and educating us on the preservation process. Prior to talking with Steve I had talked with a frame shop near me that would have framed the poster by wrapping it around wood and then stapling it to the wood. This would have devalued and ruined the piece. Antiquarium uses rice paper hinges to preserve the piece, along with other preservation techniques that they can better describe. We are extremely happy with the results and appreciate that everyone at The Antiquarium is highly trained in preservation and framing techniques.

The staff at this store are amazing. We originally visited to check out their inventory and noticed they had frames similar to one I needed repaired. The frame was restored to near original condition. We are very thankful for their efforts. We highly recommend and will return again. Hopefully to add more art to our home.

Excellent place for unusual gifts and collectible items! I went to the store 15 minutes before closing time looking for a present. The staff immediately pulled out multiple items within my price range that fit perfectly with what I had in mind. Alice in particular was incredible and answered my specific questions about maps and prints.

Walking into The Antiquarium is like opening a treasure chest and finding the most beautiful maps and prints. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and top notch. Alice helped me find unique and sentimental gifts for two family members. I would highly recommend looking here for gifts that will be cherished by any recipient.

Extremely happy with the customer service and selection. I first visited The Antiquarium in 2019. I did not have enough money to buy anything. Nonetheless, they were happy to show me around and talk to me for what must've been two hours about old maps and paintings. Since then, I have bought three paintings from them. All have been framed by them as well. They do a fantastic job with shipping and ensuring the packaging properly protects the artwork. I will definitely be shopping here again.

Every year around this time (Christmas) I like to find something unique for my adult children. The Antiquarium always has interesting maps and art and they do a truly great job of framing them for us. However, the thing that has always stood out is the service. Alice assisted me, and she was friendly and incredibly responsive. I find it a pleasure to work with the Antiquarium folks and really appreciate the ability to obtain one-of-a-kind gifts from such great people. Thank you.

I love this store! I went in recently to search for a map of Texas to get framed for my husband's 30th birthday. Bret quickly helped me locate a map of Galveston from the 1850s! He then helped me pick out a frame and mat to match. It turned out so great! It is a very special piece of art that I know we will keep forever. Highly recommend this place, even if you just want a good browse!
