Love, Love, love this team! Dr. H and his staff are the best. He genuinely cares. My only complaint and not really a complaint is they do get super busy, sometimes can take a bit to make an appointment. I’m glad to see his practice has grown so much over the years.

One of my dogs had emergency surgery at an after hours clinic and when it came time to remove the staples, Dr. H was able to fit me in to remove the staples rather than have to go back to the ER clinic. He wouldn’t charge me either! I love the Ma and Pop feel the practice at The ark.

This is the BEST pet hospital that we have ever taken our three dogs. Dr. Hubenak is very knowledgeable and offers great advice for my two elderly dogs! I trust him completely! The office staff is equally as impressive ~ answering the phones promptly, very professional and caring and always calling the day after the vet appointment to check on the dogs! Overall, the best care and service in San Antonio!

I am actually stunned that I haven’t wrote a review. We have been with the Ark Pet Hospital for 7-10 years. We highly recommend them. Darren and his team are top notch. My dogs are always treated with excellent service and love. I love going to a place that cares as much about my animals as I do. Also Darren always knows the issue and he won’t steer you wrong. My dog Charlie has a few hurdles we had to go over and he was always fully knowledgeable and knew what was wrong. We will never go anywhere else.

Vet and staff are great! Very knowledgeable and kind. Our hounds actually get excited when we pull up to the vets office. They can’t wait to get inside and visit everyone.

Dr Hubanek and the team are just the best! From Golden puppy fluffballs to cranky rescues, or puppy shots and spraying/neutering to end of life care, the quality of care and follow-up is exactly what you would hope it to be.

The Ark is AMAZING! We decided to go here after the front receptionist Erin helped us find medication for our little pup Aaron even though our dog wasn't a patient yet and no appointments were available. Our pup has an enlarged heart so he can't go without his medication, Erin saved the day! We just had our first appointment and Dr. H (Dr. Hubenak) was very thorough, funny, explained everything in depth and you could understand what he was saying and also made our nervous little guy feel immediately at ease. We are so glad we found The Ark Pet Hospital and so glad we have an amazing vet team for our little guy!

Aloha! The Ark has been our “go-to” for all our fur babies’ needs. Dr H and his staff are the very best at what they do…. When we recently moved to Hawaii, we relied on The Ark to help make the transition as painless as possible with minimal delays in transportation. This is maybe the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. From scheduling the appointment to checking in to the actual exam, everyone was so kind and helpful.

I have been a client at The Ark Pet Hospital for the last several years. First under Covid when we could not go in their office and now open to the clients to come in with their pets. Having 5 dogs it is a lot to keep track of all their medical needs. The staff is amazing - always calling with vet apt.reminders and emails. One of my dogs is almost 16 yr old and Dr. Hubenak is so kind to him. He sits on the floor to make it easier on my dog to pet and give an exam. The exam rooms are spacious and the entire facility very clean. Compliments to his staff and his professionalism and knowledge of the care needs for each pet.

Dr. H and his staff always take allot of time and ask enough questions that I know my Dog is getting the best care available. Sadie is my second pet with Dr H. My daughter drives from Universal City to keep her dog at the Ark. So he's got two generations of humans and three generations of Dog from us.
