Everything about this place comes off cheap. Vendors did a good job making it look better. Entire vibe was ick.

Our wedding in 2022 was everything I dreamed of. I loved working with their team. The decor team was amazing!

We recently held our annual women's luncheon at The Ballroom at Bayou place and all I have to say is WOW! Craig and his team are exceptional and so easy to work with. We've had a hard time trying to get things accommodated for our luncheons in the past and no matter what we requested, Craig and his team made it happen! They really took the stress out of any planning! We heard tons of great feedback and plan to book this venue again for next year's event!

Just lost my father this past Monday. Called this location cause I heard great things. I called asking questions because I was looking to have my fathers Celebration of life at one of the halls and all I received was attitude from the man on the other side of the phone. If he doesn’t like being asked question maybe he needs to find a new job. Putting more stress and making someone feel the way I feel right now is not ok. Do better! You never know what someone is going through on the other side in the phone

What an amazing venue to hold a wedding celebration for almost 400 guests. Craig and his entourage made sure everyone had a good time and kept the party going. The food and beverages were delicious and the decorations were out of this world. The flowers alone were amazing.

Craig and his team are the easiest people to work with and will do anything to ensure your night is one that you'll never want to forget. The staff is helpful and the food is delicious. Kirksey Gregg produces the most amazing floral work you will ever see. You will not be disappointed!

Best place to hold your event! The owners Craig & Stephanie were the best hosts! The food was beautiful. Best way to spend your money. Beautifully decorate, can accommodate 300. Nice patio balcony, beautiful flower arrangements. Very close to downtown. My husband surprised me with my 50th birthday party here and the owners thought of everything!

We hosted our annual gala at The Ballroom at Bayou Place, and it was an absolute delight! Craig and Ilsa went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success, showing exceptional attention to detail and accommodating our every need. The food was exquisite, receiving rave reviews from our guests, who had a truly marvelous time. The attentive and helpful staff and the stunning decoration and floral arrangements added an extra touch of elegance to the evening. We wholeheartedly recommend The Ballroom at Bayou Place as a top-notch venue for any special event.

My wife and I were married at this venue, with the ceremony and reception in the same venue. It was an amazing experience. The decorations were very beautiful, and food was delicious. We received so much feedback from our family and friends on how it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, along with how tasty the food was. The owner, Craig, was very flexible on last minute changes we had to make and was always available for any questions we had. We were able to set up payment arrangements 2 years out, which helped lighten the financial burden. I highly recommend this space for any event needs you may have. They made our day a special one.

My daughter had her graduation there and I must say it was very nice and the way they had it set up was beautiful
They had security to search everyone who came in also
The parking was little confusing but maybe that's just because we don't go downtown alot
But the scenery was such a delight to see

Very nice place for a function I went as part of a wizard of oz themed fund raiser. The venue is great and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. Top notch for any event.

My wife and I chose this as our wedding venue and I cannot overstate how that decision impacted our amazing wedding weekend. We had very limited stress leading up to our wedding. Craig is amazing, he delivered on everything we asked for. His team is very professional and knows exactly what they’re doing. Most hotels will limit the # of bartenders so they can slow down the alcohol consumption. Not here, they kept the party going. They have the best pricing, the decor team worked with them to completely transform the venue into what we wanted and not a single time were we told “no you can’t do this. ” Extremely happy we went with Craig and his team at The Ballroom at Bayou Place.

I was blessed with meeting the proprietor of The Ballroom @ Bayou Place, and let me say " What a treat! " All in all the event we held was a success; due, in part, to the great working relationship between he, and those that represent the buildings owner. If today's city government had this type of working relationship with those it came in contact with, much advancement could be made in a reasonable amount of time, to the great benefit of that city's constituents.

This place is absolutely stunning! Craig and his crew hold your hand through everything to ensure your event is flawless. Top notch customer service from beginning to end. I can't say enough good things about The Ballroom. We'll be making this our standard location for our annual gala from here on out! 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

Craig and his team did a fantastic job and made my wedding perfect! I had a design meeting with his production team and they were amazing! When I went in to see the decor, I thought they would set up one table so I could get an idea. No, his team set up a royal table, 3 regular tables, and some high tops with all fresh flowers so I could see exactly how everything would look on my wedding day! At that moment I knew this team was dedicated and passionate about making my day special.

My husband and I got to view the space before our wedding guest came in for dinner and it was so special to have that time to enjoy the venue by ourselves. Everything looked amazing! I had so many compliments from guest about how lovely the space was.

The only thing better than the space and the service was the FOOD! The food was some of the best I’ve ever had! They were even helpful when making accommodations for my guests with dietary restrictions.

My day went so smoothly and was absolutely gorgeous because of the hard work that Craig and his team put into my wedding. I can’t thank them enough!

I attended a wedding there on the evening of February 11,2023. Everything was so perfect. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we were given soooo much food, and the staff was very accommodating.

A very nice & well run facility for any kind of event. Great location in the theater district of downtown Houston. Valet parking only at the ballroom, but public garage & street parking nearby. I've been here for corporate, school, & private events. Each time, we've enjoyed our time at this location. Recommend.

Words cannot describe how blessed i feel to have had the ballroom at bayou place as my wedding venue. From the beginning, they were there to ease any concerns I had and provide every level of support necessary for planning a wedding. The first time I met the owner, craig, I was in tears, because I couldn’t find a venue to bring my vision to life. Right away he hugged me and assured me that he would take care of us, and he did more than keep his word. Craig and his team were the most amazing group of people to work with. The design team transformed the venue into the wedding of my dreams and I was blown away at how beautiful it turned out. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation for a wedding venue.
