The Bay Jewel Event Center, Corpus Christi TX

The only reason this place gets 1 star is because of how beautiful the venue is and how much it went with my theme for our wedding. As a bride I didn't feel special and neither did the groom. All the staff was very rude and had attitude to my guests and my husband the day of. The hospitality wasn't the very best either. They double booked our rehearsal because it meant they could get more money by scheduling an event at the same time as our rehearsal that was booked for months. Alex was nowhere to be found during the rehearsal. The only reason why our wedding and rehearsal was as amazing as it was is because our event decorator (Shawn from Illustrious Moments) decided on his own to take over for Alex at the Bay Jewel and make me feel special even though we didn't pay for those services from him. When talking with the GM there was a lot of false hope and promises. She had an excuse for every concern we brought up and voiced to her. No care or remorse towards our feelings as well. Because of all this and what I experienced as a bride I would not recommend this place to anyone because no one should be treated that way on their special day.

This is the best event center to have anything you can imagine for a party! They go way beyond your expectations! Thank you Renee and Alex!

My friend recently got married here at Bay Jewel & tell me why they expected her to know how her event should run (isn’t this what you pay them for) ? The planner had her cut her cake without anyone there to witness, only to say “you will have pictures to show your family” like who does that? Not to mention Alex asking the bride if she was wanting to keep her top tier cake, responding “YES” she’s keeping it, to only have them cut it and blame it on the caterers? (How do you figure?) ALSO, rushing her throughout her event, how do you enjoy yourself on your special day? DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Beautiful venue, excellent staff, and all around high-quality experience. I recommended The Bay Jewel for anyone seeking superior service. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

This establishment is ran by some of the most caring and hard working humans I’ve ever met. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful venue!

Parking is no fun, but the building/ event location inside is nice.

I have attended various weddings and vendor events held by the Bay Jewel. All my experiences there have been nothing short of enjoyable, nice, and exciting. The staff there worked hard to ensure each of us knew where to sit and what to do. They are always so respectful with our questions and with what we need. The managers work hard to ensure each of us are happy and taken care of. I highly recommend them if you want your special day or fun event go smoothly, look nice, have great service, and affordable.

I’ve had the opportunity to attend different events here, and every single time I have an amazing experience! Staff and managers are always so kind, respectful, and helpful, and ensure that each event goes well! Definitely recommend for anyone searching for a venue for their event needs!

I've attended more than one event at the Bayjewel and it's honestly wonderful. It's a beautiful venue and the staff is always kind and helpful. Me, nor my newly wed friend have any complaints and I can't recommend it enough.

Love being able to come in and be a vendor to help make someone's event extra special. Snapbox and Rock photobooths are the best.

Great event venue in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, plenty of room for all you event needs, weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties. Also has a bar.
