I tried to go here today for lunch. It's gone! What happened? It was the best BBQ in town

Great barbeque but we arrived about an hour before closing and most meats and sides were unavailable.

Great place to take the family, Frito Pie is the GOAT, I saw Patrick Mahomes in here a couple years ago, he said it was his favorite BBQ place in the LBK.

Oh heck. This establishment is beyond phenomenal! They run out of food, which is an attest to how amazing it is. Everything I've EVER had there, tastes great! If bbq was magic, these guys are the David Copperfield, of their craft. Awesome job, Bent Nail!

Amazing brisket sandwich and potato salad. Attentive and friendly service. Nice, quiet place for lunch.

Party of three adults arrived about 5: 30 on a Wednesday. There was no one else in the restaurant. First in line ordered a sliced brisket plate with Coldslaw and banana pudding. After she'd already paid, she was told they were out of coleslaw and out of banana pudding. Second in line ordered a sliced brisket plate and was told they were out of brisket. He then ordered the chicken and was told they were out of chicken! He then said forget it, I'll go somewhere else. We all decided to leave after that.
While first in line was getting a refund, she noticed them taking a big brisket out of the oven!
Second in line also noticed that.
Why do you even stay open if you have nothing to sell? And why tell customers your out of brisket while you're plainly taking a fresh one out of the oven?
That was our first time at the Bent Nail, and we surely won't be back.
After this fiasco, we went to Rudy's. The service was fast and they had everything on the menu in stock and ready to sell to customers.

The Bent Nail was exactly what I was looking for! First time in Texas for work, it was a cold day and right when I walked in I felt immediately better. It was warm, food smelled GREAT! And as I walked past people eating, their food looked FIRE! I was excited.the staff was super friendly and helpful. James, Tiffany, Brie and Riley were so nice to me and gave me a great experience!
Must try the Ribs! Brisket and the green Chile sausage. Mac and cheese was also very good.portions were terrific, I got a 2 meat plate and carried some out with me! Well worth the price…
Best place in Texas for BBQ so far…

The sign said open and as we walked in there were people leaving a table. Then when trying to place an order, we were informed it was carry out only. No message on the door or website. Business lost forever

Normally we love the brisket here. I got 2 lbs of the sliced beef which is what we usually get. It was tough as a boot and had no flavor at all. It smelled like smoke but none of the smoke flavor was in the meat itself. I don't know what they have changed but I hope they go back to what they were doing.

The food was so good and fresh and the staff was so friendly! First time there and will definitely be going back!

This place is the greatest BBQ! The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The street tacos are very tasty and the banana pudding is DELICIOUS! Check this place out. It's been a long time I haven't eaten good BBQ in Lubbock. They also have a kids menu.

The drive thru girl was fantastic, but sadly it ends there. My husband got the two meat plate only two slices of brisket at that price WTH? My son got the loaded brisket potato it was ok according to him but he’s had better, I got the two meat of brisket and sausage. Sausage was old as it was dry, hard, and shriveled up. My brisket was dry and crunchy not the ends I like those at other places we’ve tried and been too. We spent over $60 bucks for this stuff? I’m not a happy person not is my son or husband and our bellies aren’t full….

This may be the best BBQ in town now. Everything is really good here, and this business has come a long way. The ribs are the best. Highly recommend The Bent Nail!

We’ve been going here for a few years and it’s still my favorite barbecue place! Their brisket sandwich always tastes great and I absolutely love their cream corn. The banana pudding is delicious too. We eat here at least once a month and there’s times we have it multiple times in the month. Always a good choice in my family’s household and not to mention we’ve never had an issue with their staff!

We were in town for just a few weeks. Luckily, we found this place in the first two days. We were hooked by the best brisket and that creamed corn casserole was pure heaven. We went there once or twice a week until we had to leave.

The one bite of potato salad I had was flavorless. There was also hair found in the BBQ & photo salad of my friends plate. Major food safety violations going on while our food was being prepared. I lost all appetit & didn't eat another bite. DO NOT recommend!

I have no complaints about the staff they did handle everything the way you're suppose to and were very nice. But there was a hair in my meat when I first received it and told them immediately when I got reserved there was then a hair in my potato salad. Smh. Cooks need to wear hair nets if they aren't already. I couldn't enjoy it after that. That was a bummer.

Sorry wrong person that was my friend that got the banana pudding. And instead of responding back like you're offended. Your response should have been alittle more apologetic as a business owner and me being a customer. I'll be sure to share this around.

Great place to enjoy barbecue, had ribs they were to die for and on top of that a free beer.

Staff was nice, appreciated the free beer. Brisket was really dry. Just not for us. Previously had been really good
