The maintenance and office staff at this complex is horrible. If you call their “emergency” maintenance line and leave a message because your ac is out or your closet has flooded, you will get a call back when they get to you. Why an emergency maintenance line if you guys don’t care if it’s an emergency or not? The office staff never answer the phone. I see that they have time to answer these reviews, so have at it Blair at Bitters since that seems to be the only time I will be able to get a hold of anybody!

Resprop isn’t any better than any of the previous reviews. Don’t fall for that lie. Sabrina thinks the tenants work for her with the way she talks to people. Lies galore too, threats of fines due to window units yet I received ZERO emails about that even being a thing. “Oh it’s in the lease, but another branch of our company will have to reference it for you and we will send it. ” And again, no emails or newsletters that she claims to have sent. I even confirmed my email on file as correct. Yet no emails about a newsletter, no paper newsletters sent out. Sabrina also told me that maintenance has checked in on my unit multiple times since my last a/c work order, yet I’ve had no notice of this. No updates on what’s going on. They show up on the coolest day of the month of August so far with their threats of fines for my window units after finally coming in almost a month after the request was sent. UNEXPECTEDLY on top of that. No text, email or notice of any sort. I feel that should be some sort of common courtesy even if I wasn’t there to at least know someone was coming to my unit. Then when I try to figure out where I can find this “violation” in my lease, which I read all the way through after this threat, I get the run around and a off putting attitude from this “manager” Sabrina. You do not start a conversation with threats of fines. I recommended you learn some people skills. For future reference instead of jumping straight to fines, “hey, have you received and/or understood my newsletter about the window units being in violation? ” Might get you a better response. Also, to come straight out of the gate with, “I’ve sent newsletters but no one is complying” is ridiculous. We stay here and pay your salary. You are not the law. You work for me. Us. The tenants. Customer service is fun, ain’t it?
Also, from the maintenance guy (Pablo). The units aren’t designed to cool less than 77 degrees due to the Texas heat. So if you need to be cool to sleep, especially in the afternoon like myself due to an overnight schedule (doctors recommended 65 degrees Fahrenheit to sleep comfortably and well), definitely don’t bother. Counting down the days to leave and hoping small claims won’t be necessary before then.
I stand by my last review. I wanted things to get better, but seriously a headache. Do not pay to stay in this place. Please.

Response to “owner”: who’s number is this? The office number won’t do me any good. It’ll just keep me in the same boat. Y’all have my number AND email on file. Call/email me if it’s actually important to you.

The management was horrible to one of the residents and that's very unprofessional she shouldn't be allowed to talk to people how she wants, I would never live here under her management

Horrible maintenance and office problems. Not only were there just regular issues due to how old and cheap everything is, the office and maintenance staff itself is awful in every aspect.

It takes weeks for anything to get done, if it gets done at all. I had them come in to fix a bathroom vanity light and they took it down then left and said they needed parts. Literally just never came back. I called a week later and they had no clue what I was talking about. They sent different maintenance guys, I tell them the situation, and they just put the exact same broken fixture back up. I didn’t realize until after they left so I had to put in another online work order and it took another couple weeks for them to come and finally just replace my bathroom light.

Also there is nearly 0 communication. You put in an online work order and that’s it, they don’t contact you AT ALL. They just show up sometime within the next 3 weeks and do the work. There’s 0 scheduling even if you try to be specific.

The workers themselves seem like they are about as qualified as Home Depot employees, if that. They have 0 respect for your property or time. They left muddy boot prints in my bathroom and shower when they worked on our AC, they leave trash every single time they do anything.

It’s like the office goes out of their way to hire the cheapest people they can find, and it shows.

The current issue is there’s ONLY hot water. Like scalding hot water. Almost certainly someone made a mistake and they simply don’t have the time or care to get it fixed.

The office staff makes a point to care as little as possible. If you come to them with anything they just tell you to use the online portal.
No heat in the winter? Online portal and a 2-3 week wait.
No water in the summer? Online portal and a 1-2 week wait.
Somehow ONLY scalding hot water? Online portal and we’re closed Monday so who knows when we’ll get to that.

The apathy is palpable.

I was holding off writing this in hopes I would receive my move out statement and check but my calls and emails have stopped being answered. I lived in this property from June of 2020 to September of 2021. I moved in under Roscoe Properties (best property management company out there) lived under Bella Asset Management (No idea how they are even in business) and have been having to deal with ResProp Management (Better with customer service and how they speak to their current and former tenants, but broken and empty promises made). When I first moved in it was great. Property was kept up with maintenance was quick and efficient. When Bella took over is where it went downhill, the property was an absolute mess, practically destroyed. Even I did not live under Resprop I still had to deal with them in regards to my move out statement and check. I tried to take into consideration the state of the property when Resprop took over to give them time to try and fix/clean up the mess they were left. Now mind you it has been TEN months since I have moved out and I have yet to receive ANYTHING about the moveout. I was in contact with the corporate office employee Elyse for a little bit and she promised me she would get me my statement and check. Since she has made that promise she has stopped taking my calls and answering my emails. I have tried to contact multiple people at corporate with no luck in getting a response. I have been given nothing but a run around since Roscoe Properties sold this complex. The only thing I am thankful for is the Resprop did finally close out my account/lease after not living there for almost seven months, hence the two star review. I would really appreciate Corporate reaching out to me to resolve this issue. I contacted Bella about it and they said it is Resprop's responsibility to get me my check and statement since they were the ones to close out my account.

Since moving into Blair s I am extremely happy. Sabrina and Pablo are exceptionally good at making their residents feel at home. Living in San Antonio for 20 years I have to be honest and saying Blairs has been the best decision. It’s quiet and grounds are very pretty. The office consists of manager Sabrina and maintenance is over seen by Pablo. It’s a perfect combo. Both are approachable and follow through all requests. I especially like “Valet trash pick up” at my door several times a week. I would recommend this complex to my family without hesitation!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! ALL THE reviews ARE TRUE AND I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. I moved into my 1 bedroom apartment two weeks ago and there was a long list of repairs that still needed to be done. By no means was my unit " move in ready". Upon arrival I came across the following issues. Dishwasher not properly installed (no water), drain under sink was not connected therefore leaked water and faucet didn't have running water, broke tiles surrounding my fireplace, paint peeling on tiles, raised tiles above flooring which causes guests to stub their toes, unfinished paint and trim in many parts of the unit, pencil marks, water leak under bathroom sink with water damage. (there is probably mold growing there). While maintenance addressed most of these concerns I am still unsatisfied with the job performed on the living room tiles specifically. Also to mention sabrina the property manager approved the entrance of vendors without my permission to fix the repairs. I would have at least liked a heads up when strangers enter my home. The tiles are still broken and chipped which is dangerous for my two dogs and myself. I have reached out to Sabrina the property manager for a week now with no response. Temecia the leasing agent is very friendly however she can only do so much. I am an educator and it has been so stressful coming home to an unfinished unit for the last couple weeks. Hopefully this review will bring some awareness to the management team to do better. I have already contacted their higher ups so we'll see If the experience improves. Do not move here.they are so quick to move people in because I see cleaners and vendors here everyday but cannot even keep up with their own tenants. Respectfully and truthfully, do not move here and avoid the headache.

Please see photos attached of how my unit looked when I moved in. The gentlemen who came to fix the tiles told me " all they told me was to paint them" tell me how this fixes the issue?
TO add, yesterday while I was cleaning my bathtub paint started to peel off. I think these renovations were half a**ed and wouldn't consider these luxury apartments.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! This apartment complex is a JOKE I cannot believe I lived here for over 6 months horrible customer service, maintenance takes FOREVER. The front office won’t answer at all you literally have to call over 10 times for someone to feel like answering the phone. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Save your money and go someplace else. They stopped taking calls and do not return messages or emails. There is no laundry room, even though it is listed, pools have been dirty and green for almost 2 months and are not responding to me about it. We lost reserved parking so parking is a mess. Overall just terrible management

Do not move here! Only one star because obviously it makes you pick one. I moved in here in April and shortly after that is when Resprop management took over. I’ve had issues with them before and of course what’s new, they are still just as lazy. Work orders are being marked as completed when they’re not, or placed on hold for whatever reason. They never answer the office phone. And they lock the doors before closing time. I haven’t had a properly working a/c since the beginning of May with over 10 work orders and everyone is so lazy that they keep saying nothing is wrong with it. It’s never below 78, no matter what times of day. Not once did they bother to look at the filter when they would come by. I had to do it myself, and what I pulled out was disgusting. I’ve asked for a new filter over 5 times to keep being told they’re gonna bring it. The ice makers don’t work, there’s spider webs and daddy long legs everywhere, the water goes from scorching hot to ice cold in less than a second which has been extremely frustrating due to my small children and it does it without warning which they haven’t came to adjust it either. I have a crack in the dining room ceiling that leaks when it rains and I got told that I just have to deal with it and they will get to it when they get to it.
Their pools are absolutely horrendous, it’s summer time yet can’t use the damn things. This place is not worth the money whatsoever. There’s stray cats everywhere. I regret moving here, just run away and don’t even bother.

Thank God Bella Asset Management is gone and hopefull the new team, ResProp (Residential Property Management) will improve the living conditions. The pools are almost ready to swim in. No issues with hot water lately. Maintenance seems on top of things. Time will tell. I can't afford the new swanky apartments that rent for $1200 a month on up and this one fits in my budget. I'm in a good location that is relatively quiet. I hope things continue to improve.

- Bella Asset Management bought the Blair at Bitters and everything went downhill.
- No one in the office knows what they are doing and seems to be lost on their policies every time I go talk to someone.
- I turned in my 30-day notice on time and checked in with the office multiple times so they would know that I was moving out and to stop texting me about renewing my lease.
- Even after telling 4 people who worked in the office that I was leaving a few days before moving out they were surprised that I was moving out.
- I went down there to turn in my keys and sign my forwarding address for the last bill. But for some reason, they could not log into their computer and provide me with my last water bill.
- 2 weeks later, I get a notification that I am being charged for next month's rent.
- After calling the office multiple times someone finally picks up the phone and tells me that i was still somehow living there even though I turned in my keys to the office and moved out weeks before turning the key in.
- Fast forward to today I am still waiting for my last water bill and it has almost been a whole month since I moved out.
- This whole situation has been rather unpleasant. If this is how all their offices are, I would not recommend any of the apartments that the Bella Asset Management runs.
- Also please note that the most recent 4 star review is from someone that works in the office.

Resident at this complex from 2011 to 2021, not because I enjoyed my stay but because I couldn't afford to move.
I cannot speak to the current ownership or management as they took over as I was moving out. I can speak to the property, however.
The water issues others have posted are true and only getting worse with time. I spoke with one of the repairmen and he told me there was nothing really wrong with the boilers. It was the pipes to and from the boilers that were the problem. He said the calcium builds up fast and blocks the flow then the pipes burst. Sometimes that caused damage to the boilers. Water issues (no hot water/no water at all) were at least once a month by the time I moved out. Only once a month was a good month, but how long the issue would last varied from a couple days to a week.
Pest control effectively stopped when the property was sold in 2012. Carpenter ants, tree roaches, and spiders would come in through the walls, air vents, and cracks between the doors and windows if you didn't regularly spray those areas yourself.
Little to no insulation between units and no carpet means you can hear your neighbors and their pets walking/talking/barking/meowing and watching tv, cooking, washing dishes, everything. Maybe that was better in the upstairs units.
The main issue was the water and the lack of effort to actually fix the problem. I suspect that by now there is so much damage the only way to fix it is to raze the property completely and rebuild from scratch which is what I thought was going to happen when I learned the current owners offered to buy the property about two years before the previous owners intended to sell it.
I give 2 stars because the location is fantastic. Still wouldn't go back there under any circumstance. I cannot accurately describe how demoralizing it is to sign renewal papers with a rent increase because you can't afford to move and your apartment doesn't have running water. That happened to me five times here. It will not get better.

They took my deposit and admin fee but didn't want to give my lease to sign to move in. When I address it, the blamed it on me for not contacting back. But I called them twice, left a message. I even visited again telling I'm moving and I still haven't received the lease. Management at place is not professional. They don't know their own rules and they don't take accountability. I would not recommend moving to this complex.

The worst living experience I have ever had.
6 months of mold issues in my apartment and no one came to fix it. They kept pushing it off and off.
The staff has almost zero clue what is going on.
Nothing gets legitimately fixed. Water is constantly on and off…the photo below is your beloved property manager…. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT waste your money.

Won’t be renewing. I was given a sheet with the words “no increase” and told my rent would stay the same. Then on the phone was told if I provided that paper, they would honor it. I just came back from the manager's office with papers in hand and that is not the case. My dog was attacked here because the dog park fence is short enough for dogs to jump over it and one got out and attacked my leashed pet. Maintenance takes months and when I asked about why the maintenance requests hadn’t been even acknowledged I was told they didn’t receive it even though I can see “received” in the portal. My kitchen lights go out constantly, the water issues are every week, my dishwasher falls out of my cabinet.

*Edit to say my rent ended up not increasing by much at all but that was not made clear to me until after I had given notice. I am still comfortable with my decision to relocate

The water issues (water out for days on end, no hot water, etc.) have been a problem at this complex for years. They're never going to fix it. It is also a code enforcement issue, so call 311 to report it every time it happens. Also, failure to provide working water or AC is a violation of the lease agreement, meaning you can break your lease. You should not be paying rent for days they failed to provide a habitable apartment. There are several complexes in a 1-3 mile radius that are much nicer for the same price.

I absolutely hate it here. Ever since the new management took over I have been counting the days til I get to move out. I unfortunately resigned my lease right when management changed. I can’t even take a hot shower. This is your sign to live somewhere else, don’t say I didn’t warn you
