The Blood Center - Humble/Kingwood

Courtney was my technician at the Humble facility. She was excellent in both technique and personal presence. Giving blood was a good experience.

The staff is wonderful & kind. They take their job serious but have fun while doing so. I always ask for Kim or Bobby they’re the heart and soul of that place (ask for them)! D. Williams just moved from downtown so she’ll be there soon too lol. Today she had me in and out in record time.

For me it is a great blessing to have these centers, because their service is a very beautiful and important work for the benefit of many people who do not have the necessary or financial means to obtain these benefits, such as a blood transfusion and here many Good-hearted people attend these centers to donate a little of their blood to save and give life to those who need it. In addition, the staff who work here are very professional and prepared to offer a good service and when putting the needle in the arm they do not It hurts, for my part I recommend it 1000 percent. I had the great blessing of this December to meet a goal that is to have donated 5 gallons. I started in 2015. I invite you to do it because no one has a life bought for them.

This is a smooth running donation center that's runs like clockwork with a warm and friendly staff. The phlebotomists here are top notch, any anxiety i had melted away immediately with their great care. My screener was Evette and she was warm, friendly and welcoming got me screened quickly. My phlebotomist was Irene who was sweet and personable, did excellent work and I could not be happier with the experience. I highly recommend this Gulf Coast Blood Donor Center location!

I give blood regularly, but today was special! I was able to donate with Irene helping me. The entire experience was great. Irene was informative and helpful during intake, gentle with the procedure, and a delight during the donation! Great experience!

If you are looking to donate blood with a group of experienced and caring folks who know what they are doing and truly care for you, this is the place. Irene was fantastic. It can be crowded though so make an appointment.

Irene is always great. Thank you Irene for your amazing service every time I come in. Rest of the staff from front desk to initial testing is great as well.

I enjoyed the thoroughness of Larwencia as she went over process and questions with me. Maria also did amazing job collecting my blood without a glitch!
This location was very clean even the bathrooms!

The sreener named Deshae is very pleasant young lady. Her conversation was very informative. The phlebotomist named Bobby was very nice and professional. They took very good Care of me.

Had a wonderful experience at the Blood Center with Mrs. Irene Martinez. She was real attentive to my needs and requests, she was real friendly and I really enjoyed her company. Thanks Mrs. Irene!

Deshae and Tyler were absolutely wonderful! Both were friendly, caring, detailed and thorough. They went through the process as if it was my first donation and they checked up on me several times. I appreciate their genuine compassion.

Second time here with Irene as my phlebotomist! And it's a breeze Everytime. Well taken care of and so nice and respectful!

Usually coming to this center is a joy. Very easy and quick. Unfortunately this last visit I noticed a change. It seems (not sure) that there has been some policy changes. They are no longer accepting walk till 1 pm. They decided to have training in the middle of the day which made everyone with an appointment late. Unfortunately I waited an hour and was not able to donate (had to pick up my kids). This is unfortunate because someone could have used my blood.
