The BOSS - Builders Outlet Super Store Austin, Pflugerville TX

Came here to look at composite decking samples. The guy who helped us was really knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to the back to look at the big boards of our favorite one so we could see what the color would look like outside and on a bigger scale. They offered to send us home with a scrap sample for free but had a hard time finding one so we offered to buy a whole board. Then as we were checking out, the manager came in and said "I found one! " and gave it to us for free. I thought it was amazing that they literally refunded the $40 we were happy to pay for a full board so that they could give us a free sample. I was a bit nervous that for all that above-and-beyond work they'd pressure us to buy from them but they didn't at all, which made me ask our contractor to buy from them specifically if possible. Just super friendly dudes eager to help.

No waiting here! Jonathan and Darius banded and loaded my order so quickly I could have kept my appt I moved bc I thought I wouldn't make it. HD and Lowe's need to take a class from these guys!

Low prices, and fast service, beats this other place (starts with a B) where I used to buy fence materials and would take at least an hour to get loaded up.

First and foremost this is the best place and cheapest to buy all your wood products! The people here are great! Jonathan and Darius are great! They helped me out and took care of me. I was pleased with the service they provided

This Selections are endless and Juan was very knowledgeable and gave me a great deal. My pick up was a great experience Jonathon and Daryios were the best loaders ever Johnathon even drove 45 minutes to help me unload 62 boxes of LVT flooring without his help i would have been unloading still. 1 class service as good as it gets thanks and will be using BOSS again

Every time I go into Boss, I get such a wonderful reception. They definitely think about making a customer first before making a sale. I load lumber into my CRV and they always allow me to cut my own wood to fit. Jonathan (sp?) was very courteous and helped me load up my car. THE place to go for great service and prices.

Unbeatable price for what we were needing. Everyone is very helpful, happy and friendly! First thing we noticed was the attitudes of all the employees, it’s very rare to find a business where all the employees are genuinely happy! Have been going here for some time now. The staff is very easy to work with and I have always been treated very well by Juan and team. I have great experience with Jonathan and Darius, the guys that load the materials. Everything is always quality and I’ve only had to return once at the very beginning but they took very good care of me then. This is my go to for fence materials and deck. Give them a try yall!

Called a couple of days ago, ordered what I needed. Upon arrival, we walked in and the transaction went very smooth. Would do business with them again.very Professional.

Unfortunately it was a bad experience last week with them. Juan was a friendly fellow but he accidentally put the wrong wood into the computer so they cut 50 boards of the wrong material, that was extremely awkward for me to deal with inside the warehouse and I had to take a verbal abuse from the big warehouse guy, even though I helped him remove the boards.

The large warehouse guy was so rude with his comments during my visit I don’t think I want to come back here again.
