I’ve only been leasing in these apartments since September, and there has been so many issues. Saturday night I arrived at my apartment at 11 PM and my keypad was malfunctioning and would not allow me into my home. I have two dogs so it was urgent for me to get inside. I tried contacting the supposed “ 24 hour maintenance”. After an hour without a reply I called the fire department to see if they could help me get in and they told me to call a locksmith that the fire department doesn’t resolve those matters. A locksmith came and tried to enter through the sliding glass door but said that it was impossible and the only way it would be through the front door he drilled off the smart lock that comes with the apartment and replaced it with a standard deadbolt lock. The charge for this was $279 and I was not able to get into my apartment until 2 AM, The apartment complex has yet to resolve this issue or reply to my email.on top of that there is no seals on any of the doors the roaches are horrible there’s always leaks and my hot water has gone off multiple times. DO NOT rent from these people

EVERYTIME AROUND THE HOLIDAYS THE HOT WATER IS OFF. THIS MY THIS IS SICK I PROMISE THIS MY LAST YEAR RENTING FOR THESE PEOPLE. CANT BATH, WASH DISHES OR NOTHING BECAUSE OF THE HOT WATER IS NOT WORKING AGAIN

My fiancé, my 3 kids and I lived here for a few months now since we’ve moved in we have been complaining about the ac that repeatedly goes out with our apartment reaching anywhere from 84 to 98 degrees in the house and when we first moved in the thermostat read 101 we had to by in window ac units to keep my kids cool and we have a 4 month old baby. We have been in a lease violation because of our dogs which 2 didn’t stay here we were getting paid to dog sit and I have 2 Rottweilers they said they don’t allow aggressive breeds but I have seen people with cane corsos, pit bulls, huskies and even Rottweiler mixes that stay here we haven’t even received a key to our mailbox since we’ve been here and the mail lady had to leave our box unlocked just so we can get our mail which isn’t the safest thing.

Paid the $200 application fee. They called and told me I was approved. I tried calling back multiple times over the course of 2 days. Heard nothing back. I dont think it would go well if you needed something fixed in your apartments they rent…

It's the most disgusting Roach and Rat-infested dirty complex, they don't answer phones in the office they charge you for pest control which they don't do. All these X TRA fees! I did not sign up for. Audrey has no business providing customer service to ANYONE she is rude and a liar and does not know what she is doing! I cannot wait to leave this dump. DO NOT STOP HERE!

Do. Not. Live. Here. These people are MESSY with their business. When I moved in I was given the wrong keys couldn’t get into the apartment to begin with once I got inside the apparent wasn’t clean ready to move in at all. There were stains and cigarette butts in the carpet there were parts of the carpet that had been cut hour and hot glued back down and it smelled there was trash left behind by maintenance and stuff still in the drawers from previous tenant that lived there. The facets didn’t have handles and took them at least 2 weeks to fix the AC and probably 5 different calls to maintain saying it still wasn’t working. I was given $100 for my issue with move in.

There was a forced entry situation apartment security was standing in my apartment with a woman who was throwing things trying to fight my boyfriend and I for an hour while waiting for police I no longer felt safe there tried contacting the office repeatedly to see if anything could be done to release me from my lease because of the threats and attempted assault while I was pregnant they wouldn’t answer emails nor would they answer the front office I left voicemails which would reflect on the resident app and it was marked as resolved without contacting me. So I cleaned out the apartment and had to move out breaking the lease and just stopping all payment and now that’s on my credit.

Don't rent her thy are disgusting unprofessional and fraudulent. I applied with out credit and thy end up pulling my social security with out my consent That's illegal fraud. I'm all ready started a lawsuit again this Company all make sure thy go broke for fraud thy are theft corrupt evil unprofessional. Thy have Roaches infetation we talking about 6 inch roaches. Dirty thy don't care about the community. Most of staff live in the apartment and if youake them mad thy start to brake in your apartment go in with out your consent. I’ve put in a maintenance request three times, first time they marked it off without even coming, second time I had a plug in ac going so they marked it off. I came home from work and my kids fish died from how hot it is in here. Nobody fixed anything around here, I’m getting a hotel room and contacting a lawyer tomarrow. Waste of money, don’t come here

I wish I could give no stars. This is the most disgusting apartment I’ve ever lived in. The water is constantly being turned off. The appliances break consistently more than once a month. The AC is always broken and my apartment got up to 98 degrees while I had my newly born child who just got out of the nicu, in our apartment. It was dangerous and despicable. I ended up having to take my child into the front office (which was so conveniently air conditioned) so she wouldn’t overheat and die. My faucet in my bathtub broke and their solution was to just leave a giant hole in its place and not fix it at all. The paint was peeling off the walls from them flooding the ac with coolant to “ fix “ the problem. This indeed did the opposite, the ac was still broken and then I had a flooded apartment and peeling walls. The bugs.let me tell you about the roaches absolutely everywhere with no end to them. On multiple occasions I also seen mice crawling into the outer walls of the apartments. Currently I’m in a battle with them because they tried to charge me rent for months I have not lived there after I moved out! Now they are telling me the “ pet fee” I paid is non refundable along with many other fees. They are money hungry people with no regard for human safety or general kindness. When I first moved in, I was told my rent would be $1,200 a month but that quickly changed to around $1,700 a month for a nasty 2 bed 2 bath apartment with walls that will make you bleed if you touch them because they are spikey and the paint also flakes off, bugs, holes in the bathroom. Broken appliances, broken ac, constant financial issues with their systems.and so so much more. Whatever you do. Please do not move here for the love of god. I wish someone would have told me that it’s actual hell living at the Carmen. I am so relieved to never have to see that place again. What a nightmare. This whole apartment complex should be condemned. It is not safe for human living.

If I could leave a negative number on a rating I would. This place is absolutely awful and especially with their prices. Nothing is a set amount when you pay rent and it is always changing. Half the time none of the appliances work and need to be fixed every other week. You pay for tech when they won’t even let you have the code to use the touch screen security system. Half the time the water does not work and they are always “fixing” it every other week. The doors and windows are so poorly sealed that there are gaps in between some areas. All of the staff gives you a different answer if you ask them a question and security here is completely useless. They will just ride around in their truck while there are literally people screaming and fighting in the parking lot or outside of their apartments. Honestly if you’re thinking of moving here I would think again because it is literal hell here. On top of that the property manager is a horribly rude and just overall uncaring person. And yet all of this and you’re paying $1200 a month for literal dysfunctional closet space

I do not recommend living in this place, it takes months to fix a washer and dryer, they ignore calls and say false prices when you make the contract, do not come these people are a scam

Audrey was nice and quickly to respond to you. U got questions she has answers. U got a move in mind she has the quotes. Apartments are nice and perk I love is the washer n dryer in Apartment.

Its cheap. But that's about it. My dishwasher and garbage disposal always is messing up. The hot or cold water is always turning off at least once a month without notice that it will be happening or an update on when it will be fixed. There is also no compensation for the no water of whatever degree for the time it was off. They charge you for a tech package every month for a digital door lock that's mandatory, you can log on to an app and mess with your door lock, and change the temp. But its a 45$ tech charge EVERY MONTH for that, plus a "garage" fee that is a "supposedly" a mess up since we DO NOT have garages. We don't have covered parking either. Also with that tech the front office can unlock your door from the office, so that's comforting. There is a security truck on property at night but I don't see them doing much out there. Its gated but the gates don't close. The office people are alright nothing super great and nothing terrible, just doing their jobs? Eh

If I could give this location 0 reviews I would! From the moment I signed my lease I had multiple red flags to not move here. My unit was not ready on time that was back in august of 2022. I finally moved in and everything was okay until online systems stopped working. They would only let you pay your rent in person. The front office has weird hours closed multiple days out of the week no drop boxes. They charge you late fees but will not let you pay your rent late. They will want next month on top of the past due balance. The main manager Cydney (misspelled) is rude and genuinely does not care about tenants. They will not try to work with you or figure anything out she is just money hungry and a liar. Long story short I caught up my rent in February of 2023 and lost my job when March came I asked for an extension they immediately started an eviction process on me. This apartment does not keep hot water on, roofing issues. My a/c and heat has not functioned since February of 2023. Also horrible sanitation issues sewage issues right by the building. I didn’t have this problem but a lot of my neighbors complained about pest as well. They also just do not take care of the building everything is raggedy and old. Do not sign a lease with this slum Lord. The prices may get your attention but the rent is cheap for a reason. This is the worst place I’ve ever lived. Wish I would have broke my lease when I had the chance. Take this warning DO NOT move here

By far the worse place I have ever lived at. I’ve been here for 2 months and ive had nothing but, problems. They are roach infested, hot water is always off, everything in the house keeps breaking, mold growing on the inside of the wall. Say they fix things but, nothing ever gets fixed. My kids can’t even play on the floor without roaches crawling around.

The water has been off all day no one is fixing it walked around to see if anyone is fixing it and no one it out it is Friday night 8: 52 pm 12/23/22 I bet it will not be back on until Tuesday 12/27/22 But knowing this place it won't be not even any cold water to Flash toilet

Water constantly off and especially the hot water. ROACHES with no exterminator! Fridge kept turning off making my food hot and water keep leaking out of it! Mold under ALL sinks! This place charged me 2 months after i had already moved out! MONEY HUNGRY BROKE DOWN APARTMENTS!

It was very horrible I got roaches. I keep my house clean the apartment infested with roaches pest control never come and we pay for pest control they came one time and never did anything at all. The Hot water always off. I had so many problems with my apartment. The pool never open it’s just for decorations. The kids always bored throwing rocks they never do things for the kids in the community. Quick to charge a late fee for rent but half way fix things. If you don’t want to stress I advise nobody come here. They sell you dreams.
