I love this place. So much so even after i moved about 30mins away i still kept him here. My son has been coming here since he was an infant. I have seen teachers come and go but never had an issues with them. I do understand that kids will be kids but i never had an issues with them telling me what happened.

If you ever have any issues with this center, call child care licensing. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt, do not wait on them, CALL LICENSING IMMEDIATELY! Very poorly managed center from the director, to the district manager, even corporate. Never let them internally investigate anything!

Unfortunately I had a similar situation with my toddler as the review “Mr. Pugh” did as well. I am a empathetic person to a fault, but my love for children and perspective on right and wrong is what is dictating my review. Although aggressive behavior like hitting and biting is “age appropriate” for toddlers learning there world through senses, it absolutely does not mean it should ever be allowed. Which is what I kept being told repeatedly from the school managers here, which also leads me to believe a policy they go by. Not only are they short staffed, they seem to run a policy where they allow other children to hit each other and make no effort into intervening and stopping it and re directing the child’s behavior into correcting the problem in positive ways. The teachers here simply ignore the problem while the managers and director make excuses for negative behavior that should be corrected in positive teaching and separation of such incidents. Long story short my daughter was being followed around on the first day by another toddler boy who repeatedly pulled my daughters hair, pull her hoody, and than eventually tackling her into the wall and in between legs of the teacher “Miss Lilly. ” Miss Lilly simply ignored everything going on and kept cleaning counter tops. I drove immediately to the
school to pick up my daughter watching on the cameras, as I spoke to the director who seemed extremely stressed about the situation. I was informed that boy beating up my daughter, his mom was a teacher there also but for a different classroom. As I’m listening to what the director was explaining to me I see that same bully go and yanks his classmate hair and I had to tell the director that he was doing it again to another child. While Miss Lilly literally was standing directly 1 inch away from them. She did did nothing and ignored again while I was mortified to witness this through the classroom window I could even hear that poor little boy wail in pain getting his hair pulled so there was no way Miss Lilly couldn’t hear it while she is in the class room and I’m just outside looking in. The kicker is when I told the director while she was mid explaining what happened with my daughters situation and I had to point behind her and said “he’s doing it again…! ” And the director had to open the door and yell at that same boy to stop. Only than did Miss lily decided to barely separate them enough for that boy to stop. Was also told doesn’t matter if the classmates are boy or girl, that boy bullying my daughter and his classmates hits anyone, which also makes me believe this is an ongoing problem with that child since his mom is a teacher there too. Was also informed he was a little bit too old for my 1 year old daughters classroom age range but he wasn't quite old enough to be moved up to the 2 year old classroom. Extremely unethical practices being done at this daycare. My appreciation for the director for somewhat helping protect my daughter from being beat up, because she did come into the classroom to pick up my daughter and stop the hitting and hair pulling, but something needs to be done with the terrible school managers and miss Lilly. I am completely disgusted with how there response was to my daughters situation. They all need re training in my opinion or just re staffed completely.

We unfortunately had to pick a daycare site unseen. They had good availability, which was nice but overall we expected more out of the facility with cleanliness, professionalism, and class structure for the price. Where there was large concern and ended up having us look elsewhere we’re instances we saw on camera where our younger child was bullied by older kids and the teachers didn’t even notice while my wife and I saw more than one instance (1 yr old). Then on pick up a week later saw scratches all over our child’s face. I asked the teacher what happened and they said they didn’t know. They were more concerned with getting the incident form signed. Made an appointment with the director, had a discussion and found out it was a sub teacher in the class, we said we’d like to know what happened, and the director said they would look into it and find out. We never heard back. We left the daycare after 2 months. I’d steer clear of at least this Children's Courtyard. There’s safer facilities out there.

Do you realize that $336 a week comes out to more than $1300 a month? That is more than a mortgage payment. Absolutely ridiculous!

I love this daycare. Every teacher my son has ever interacted with has been wonderful. I also had a concern I brought up to the director and she looked into it immediately. Best place!
