The Cliff House, Dallas TX

Great food, service at a wedding reception and the place felt great for this.

We chose Boxwood/The Cliff House for our wedding on 1.28.23 and could not be more impressed!

We truly loved every aspect of planning our wedding and enjoyed meeting all of the members of Boxwood's staff! Everyone we met with treated us like a member of their family which made it even more special to share such a milestone in our lives with them!

The food Boxwood offers is fantastic, and we loved that we were able to meet with Chef Justo to plan our menu and attend two tastings at the venue to try different options and their cocktails. Their bartendress makes an amazing Old Fashioned! We also enjoyed being able to see the venue set up for service with different decorations twice. This was key in finalizing our florals and decor. We ended up going with the Tier One Buffet and beer/wine because we were budget conscious, and the food tasted nothing like "budget" wedding food. Chef is talented beyond words and we still find ourselves craving the Chicken Pasta and Paprika Garlic Bread served at our wedding (mouth is watering while typing this review)! Chef Justo, please make a cook book!

Booking with Cliff House was extremely easy, and the venue is very versatile! We loved that the neutral color pallet allowed us to decorate however we wanted and that tables, chairs, linens, security, bartenders, catering, and a day of coordinator were included in the package! We also appreciated that the venue was smaller in size and allowed us to have a more intimate ceremony/reception.

We had the opportunity to work with Maggie and Rachel to plan our big day, and we loved them both! Maggie is a wedding pro and had our best interest in mind! She offered great suggestions and was not afraid to answer any of our questions! She also recommended we use string lights for our exit, and we are so thankful we did! Rachel joined us a couple weeks before our wedding and coordinated the day of. She is honestly one of the coolest, chillest people we have ever met! We loved working with her! Rachel was on top of everything and all of my vendors enjoyed working with her. She was also able to keep our day running smoothly despite some delays and also hid/handled any issues that arose! I only have great memories from my wedding day, and I know that is all because of Rachel! I will forever be thankful to her - truly a wedding fairy godmother!

In conclusion, we have so much love for The Cliff House and the Boxwood staff! You truly will not regret spending your wedding day with them!

We found this venue through the Knot and we and are so so happy we did! This was the perfect venue for our wedding. The place is very cute and its location is ideal with walking distance bars for an after party. Food and drinks service were great. Most importantly, the staff was very attentive to detail, has excellent and prompt communication, and is incredibly nice. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator and she was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, while being a genuinely sweet person who wanted the best for us. We would rate this place 6/5 if we could and strongly recommend couples looking for a wedding for ~70-140 people to book this place as soon as possible!
