My overall experience at this school has been wonderful, my MCB instructor Ms. Thomas has been truly outstanding. Ms. Thomas has shown me so much and I have absorbed so much due to the way she teaches, she's engaging, fun, an effective communicator, she makes coming to school worth the while. My only issue is with the work for EHR this mod, life is already difficult with day to day encounters of just trying to survive, and to sit and do a hour worth of homework just to submit it and get a zero because none of the progress was saved, is very disheartening. I feel like it's a setup for failure, especially after going back in completing the same assignments after saving them, just to see you have to do a exercise again. It's all very frustrating. Hopefully something can be done about this in an expedious fashion.

I am not one to just beat down a place and only discuss the bad. I can honestly say the beginning of my journey at CHCP was a very pleasant experience. Jennifer in admissions was amazing to me and made my enrollment process very seamless. My Intro teachers Mrs. Torres and Ms. Buckner are truly knowledgeable and care for the future of their students. Ms. Thomas, oh Ms. Thomas, she’s the reason that I haven’t walked out the door months ago. With life kicking me in the butt having her as my instructor is a breath of fresh air. When I say someone who can shows they care, while also holding you accountable and encouraging you at the same time. Such a Gem! All that to say this, if you are looking to enroll in a college that has great instructors while dealing with being issued a computer that is unable to provide you the proper function to complete the necessary assignments. (For me to have to purchase a laptop after being issued one is ridiculous) It’s too small for one and doesn’t even have function keys for the students to be able to complete the assignment that call for them.
Having a breakroom with microwaves that do not function properly enough to warm your food (mind you I come straight to school from working a 16hr shift). Don’t even get me started on the price of the concession, them wanting me to pay $3.04 for an Arizona Tea is highway robbery. The restrooms, the bugs crawling across the floor, scheduling your life around your school assignment due dates for them to suddenly change for no apparent reason.
So now, here I am currently in MOD 7 taking a computer application course feeling like I am back in kindergarten. This by fare that most tedious class that I have ever taken in my life. Mind you I do understand that there are many people in this world that do not know how to operate a computer. I also agree that everyone needs to know the basic functions of a computer but to give me an assignment that makes me hit file and print three times just to complete one step is absurd. I must say the directors need to look at this foolishness and make some much-needed changes. Let me not forget to mention this completely outdated so-called EHR system that is basically teaching you that to pass an assignment you must misspell patient’s names. (If I spell the patient’s name correctly, I get the question wrong) Software updates are truly needed.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an outstanding review class led by the remarkable teacher, Ms. Singleton. To put it simply, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, Ms. Singleton's class exceeded all expectations, providing an educational journey that left a lasting impression.

First and foremost, Ms. Singleton's teaching style is a breath of fresh air. Her passion for the subject matter is palpable, and her dedication to her students' success is unparalleled. She has a unique ability to make even the most complex concepts seem accessible and engaging. Throughout the class, Ms. Singleton's enthusiasm was contagious, motivating each student to actively participate and immerse themselves in the material

Ms. Singleton is literally the best and most genuine teacher you will ever meet. Her and Ms. Torres will give you 110% of their time and patients. If it weren’t for them I really don’t know how I would get through the LMRT program. The LMRT program is no joke and not meant to take lightly. Would 100% recommend to the students who are strong willed.

I love all the MCB instructors in the evening. They have all been so helpful and patient with me in my learning. Also to include Ms. Randolph who was my substitute one night.

I couldn't be more grateful for having a teacher like Ms. Singleton she made us get thru this Lmrt program it is hard having kids, work and come to school and she will motivate us every single day to keep pushing! If there is anything we cannot understand she will sit with you hours if she has to to make it make sense to you! She will go out of her way and try every different method of teaching there is until she finds what best suits you! From mod 1 & 2 all the way to cert review she has given 110% to all of her students!
