The Cottages at Corpus Christi

Absolute worst place to live. Management doesn’t care about safety of students and are completely incompetent. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

They deleted my first review.my roommate threatened to hurt one of our pets.a staff member was concerned and directed me to megan who let my roommate get away with it.a couple of staff told me they couldn’t talk about the situation with me anymore and didn’t understand why megan would do that.my roommate started to bully and scream at me which housing ignored and never did anything to stop my roommate.i’d check out ellissa’s review, cottages has done this before.i begged to get out of cottages and staff told me to find someone or move to another apt.staff made a whole joke out of the situation.it got worse with my next roommate that housing got involved again.i was offered by connor to get out of cottages or move to another apt.i find out later that monica wouldn’t allow me to leave cottages and wouldn’t ever talk to me.it got worse with my roommate and connor left before we were going to meet again.brianna (rm now) got involved and let me leave cottages.taylor and brianna were always kind during this time.most of the 5 star comments are from friends, especially the ones who were most involved.cottages knew what was going on and didn’t do anything for months.they were more worried about people finding out.i used to love it here and had renewed my lease until next summer before this happened.

I strongly discourage any one from ever signing a lease or living with at The Cottages. All 5 star reviews were made by employees, friends of employees, as well as significant others related to employees. I highly recommend doing research of all reviews and throughly reading a lease agreement before signing. Upon moving out and receiving a final statement they will leech you for every dollar they can and even when proof is provided of wrong doing it is not accepted. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The stress and unhappiness that comes with it is not worth it.

Student housing, not only for uni students, is affordable and close to almost everything. We're new here and so far, so good.

I love living at the cottages! Super cute beach town home style and has everything you need! Super nice pool too. Madi Luna is also the best front desk girl ever. She is always so helpful and lets me know I have a package when I didn’t even know! She is amazing and people like her make the cottages a great place to live

The cottages is a great place to live! You get the most out of your money with the amenities and size of the rooms. The office staff is very helpful, Madi Luna is always very helpful with any questions or concerns.

Charging me 500 dollars…nearly 1 months rent for some dust and sand on the ground from moving out is disgusting. If you’re reading this do not sign a lease with this management.

Emily is such an amazing and helpful person! Every time I call she always manages to fix my issue and answer my questions.

Charging me AND EACH roommate $692 for a move out fee, half of which is labeled “other - cleaning”, for absurd amounts. This is borderline extortion; do not send your children here for college living, do not sign here if you’re a normal wage citizen. You will not be able to pay and keep up with the amount of fraudulent charges you’ll receive.

The cottages was a great place to live while I was in school, Emily and Madi were super helpful with move out!
