The Crossing Apartments reviews
4To everyone complaining about the management not being there when they try to lease, they’re doing you a favor.everyday around the time i go to work there’s no water.anytime i call the leasing office and ask they get snippy and rude.the apartments are gross, the management is unprofessional and unorganized, and the parking system here is atrocious.if you’re thinking about leasing here you’re going to need a lot of patience.
It's advertised 1bedroom rent is $1100 with utilities paid but it Really is over $1300.
First off, good luck even getting a call back or an email. If you decide to try going into the leasing office, 2 out of the 4 times I went in during business hours, the door was locked, with the manager inside and wouldn't unlock the door. This is all AFTER I paid nearly $500 in application and "hold fees".
With that being said, I was told that if my credit were not up to par, a $500 risk fee would be assessed before I could move in and I didn't have a problem with that.
Fast forward a week later. I finally get a call, and was told that I was denied for credit discrepancies. Without any alternative option given she tells me the only way I can move in is with 10 months paid up front in full. Yes.over $13,000. And says the $500 that I already paid was non-refundable.didn't even get an option to pay the risk fee that she mentioned when I applied.
This place is a joke, and I feel like my family was robbed and taken advantage of. Stay away from this place.
I need the manager to please email me back asap please, I put an application with the crossings apartments over a week ago. Initially before going online filling out the application I called to talk to front desk exactly what the rental criteria is and if have any
two bedroom apartments available. And she told me they have several two bedroom apartments. So I went on to ask what exactly is the rental criteria, and she told me her words. "we don't go by credit, all we ask is at least 90 days of paycheck stubs to prove employment. And a one time $85 application fee". So with that information I filled out the application. All thru out it I was speaking to her, and she made me feel super confident shes working with me approve my application. Because of her false criteria and lies, this apartment complex literally stold almost $600 dollars. And once I made the payment she stopped answering my calls or text. And days later she lied again an told me I was $76 off of making enough money rent. And then I was told another lie, something about an old txu bill got me denied. I could not believe it, I feel exactly like I was literally robbed scammed. Ofcourse that $600 is part my moving money and I need it back
