The Daily Grill reviews
15Good service the clam chowder was absolutely amazing but can’t say the same for the short rib, that plate.was bland no flavor whatsoever.
Food was very good. The service was less than stellar, bordering on non-existent. He took our order, someone else brought the food, then we didn’t see him again until we flagged him down for the check. The restaurant was relatively empty, so not an issue of busy or understaffed.
I had the Eggs Benedict, one of them was undercooked and runny, and other than that, it was very good. It is a well priced, very clean establishment. I'd recommend it to friends!
The vegan salad was delicious. We continue you to come the Daily Grill, because the customer service is so great and consistent with leaders like one of the managers, Mina.
She makes you feel like your at home.
“A great restaurant is one that makes you feel like your not sure wether you went out or you came home, and confuses you. If it can do both of those things at the same time, your hooked. ” Danny Meyer (Restaurateur)
Here at the Galleria for a conference. Went here for lunch. Sat at the bar and received prompt and courteous service. Sliders were good bit the fries were overcooked. Nice place for a quick lunch.
We’ve eaten breakfast here twice, three years apart. The most memorable part of both experiences was how unreasonably long it took to prepare the meal. They made use of the extra time to ensure the yolk of the eggs Benedict was over cooked.
This establishment is horrible. I was in town for a work trip and ordered a chicken Cesar’s salad since many of their other salads have nuts which I am highly allergic to. Upon getting the salad it just wasn’t very good in general, had funky taste and the lettuce didn’t seem fresh at all.
I wish that was the worst part but it wasn’t… my throat was getting very itchy while eating the salad and I was about halfway through when I noticed a large sliced almond in the salad which I’m highly allergic to and the salad isn’t supposed to even have! The kitchen here is obviously not up to par and there is cross contamination issues and who knows what else. I had to leave the meeting and seek medical attention. Definitely avoid this place for your safety. If they can be this careless and have such poor quality I can only imagine what their kitchen or food quality/safety is like….
Our server, Raphael, was attentive, accommodating and very patient! It is refreshing to have good food and exemplary service, and Raphael made our experience so enjoyable, we will return.
Me and my friends decided to visit this restaurant for an after work margarita last Friday, turned out they were celebrating Heritage Week so our drinks came with a free quesadilla. It wasn’t just the free quesadilla, but the ambiance and the staff are beyond and above anyone expectations. We are definitely coming back to this location!
Went with big party service was slow. Asked for sugar for ice tea and never received it. Took me 4 times to get lemons for water.
Stopped in with my brother to take a break from shopping in the mall. My brother had the steak and loved it. I had the romaine salad and it def hit the spot.
The absolute best good ever. I feel welcomed immediately by the hostess jaz who never not greets me with a warm smile and the service is over the top.
Customer service from the waiters was great!
- When I arrived and asked the hostess about happy hour she did not know
-I would not recommend ordering the food. The sliders had (white) unripe tomatoes and the tacos had stale tortillas and semi brown avocado
- Whatever rag that was used to wipe down the counter smelled horrible
- Apart from the waiters, I wouldn’t recommend this location
Simple diner style menu. Executed very well. Good, familiar wine brands available by the glass. Nice selections of liquor for cocktails.
It's a cool place with a nice atmosphere. The food is ok though. That was my first time there. What makes me go there again is not the restaurant, not the food. Me and my fiance will go back only to see Mina (the manager) and enjoy her company. She is very sweet and helpful and she means it. She is not fake like most people in the restaurant industry.
THANKS MINA!
