The Dallas World Aquarium reviews
16Great selection of wild life to view but it is so packed with visitors that it is very difficult to get a stroller around and expect to wait at the larger exhibits for your kids to have a turn at the glass to see. Otherwise a wonderful place and experience. I'll be going back again.
Beautiful & clean.
Best aquarium that I have visited so far. Definitely a must see if your in Dallas.
One of the fav places in Dallas. It's huge and a lot of animals and birds. I think this one is more bigger than Texas State Aquarium.
This aquarium was okay. I liked the layout and that it was jungle like and really felt like an experience to walk through but I did feel like it had more birds than fish. Maybe slightly overpriced for what it was but still enjoyed my time.
We went on a Sunday. It was not crowded. We were able to comfortably walk around. The interior is amazing. It was nice seeing some of the wildlife you don't regularly see a Zoo.
Yes there are alot of species here. The inside looked cool, but we found it boring. Hardly any fish. It was so crowded that I felt trapped. Huge waste of money in my opinion.
Not as many fish as you'd think, but there were so many animals from all over. Really a cool place to go.
Masks are required regardless of vax status. They do provide masks if you need one. The animals were awake and active when we visited first thing in the morning. The environment is so neat. Definitely worth a trip
Amazing! If you are wondering if it's worth the price, it absolutely is! It's not your average aquarium!
Every interaction with an employee was very pleasant and they have a very good system of keeping lines and crowds moving. My wife and I had a ton of fun viewing everything they had to offer. Very fun atmosphere and a great place to bring kids.
The aquarium will create an amazing experience irrespective of your age group. It usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the tour. You will be fascinated to find how many species are there in this aquarium. My favourite part was the under water zone. A perfect place to visit if you have children. My favourites were penguins, sea horse, jellyfish, starfish. The place is following all covid protocols. I highly recommend the aquarium.
This is not the best aquarium so far that I have visited. But it’s pretty decent one, especially if you have a kid. Nice rainforest environment with many different birds and animals! Not only kids, even adults will enjoy too. It was fully packed when we visited. The Covid 19 safety measure was not very stringent. They are asking to put on the mask but nobody was checking out. The entire place is very narrow and stuffy and it was fully packed during my visit. They have bunch of interesting animals such as flamingo, crocodile, shark, penguin etc.we enjoyed the time.
TLDR: I recommend! Fun and interesting. $58 for two adults.
**note: I have not researched the conditions in which the animals are kept.
We went on Black Friday. It was very busy. Almost too busy. You mostly walk along a specific route. You walk through a rain forest as you see different types of animals. There are many glorious birds. Some are huge! There are birds flying around freely too. They fly in and out of holes in the posts along the walkway. THERE ARE SLOTHS THERE! There are spiders, frogs, tiny gators, huge crocodiles, a giant river otter that really wants to hang out with people, an ocelot, and then there a some fish. Some of my favorites are the fish with glowing eyes and the octopus. I wish they had more types of jelly fish though. There are tanks that have fish from different places all over the world. I really enjoyed that.
It was fun but kind of short to me. We paid $58 for two people. I really enjoyed it there! (Other than the huge crowd)
Its a little expensive but where else am I gonna see ant eaters, sharks, jelly fish and a manatee all in the same place?
Not understanding why we had to schedule an entrance time while buying tickets in advance only to find that the venue was way overcrowded so much so it was unenjoyable. Wasted 60$
