The Flame Tacos reviews
17Tried this place out, the portions are very small and the prices are expensive. I would spend money somewhere else. Almost $5 dollars for 1 taco is crazy when it is around the size of a mini street taco.
Have ordered a few times before.no problems until this order. Got food poisoning from the barbacoa taco.threw up and was sick for a couple of days.the meat seemed rotten as immediately my stomach didn't feel well after eating finishing the taco. Since the order was on a saturday morning im only assuming they used old meat.ruined my weekend.aside from getting sick here the portions are very small for the price. I will no longer be eating from here. Would not recommend anymore.
So I've tried this place about 5 times now. The last time was over 6 months ago, and it was a terrible experience. The food is always good. However, the wait for the food and the incompetent cashiers always make me not want to return. I have it 6 months and now I'm back. You guessed it, I'm currently sitting in the store waiting on my 1 taco to go. 3 people that came in after me and ordered food for here have received their food. I ordered 1 taco to go. I guess 6 months wasn't enough time to figure out how to properly run a restaurant efficiently. I highly recommend you order far in advance and double-check your order. I'll be sitting here. 25 minutes plus for 1 taco. Meanwhile, other people get tacos who ordered after me. Some things never change.
I got the street tacos with Barbacoa and the hottest red salsa and it was awesome. I went back the next day and got a quesadilla and chicken fajita taco and it was also super good. Highly recommend
This place had so much potential until I not only tasted the bland and unimpressive food, but also heard about the way the owner, "Fransisco" treats delivery workers.
Doordash, GrubHub, UberEATS; they're what keep businesses alive during this covid insanity. If businesses want to stay open, they should treat delivery workers with respect, decency, and courtesy. Until then, places like this one will remain on a no-go list for discerning, like-minded individuals like myself.
Good luck Francisco, I hope you work on your business model before we tank your business.
Well done nreakfast tacos in this place.flour or corn tortilla, very juicy food and great staff.
I ordered 3 tacos, everything was delicious and fast! Barbacoa was my favorite! Is hard to find a good corn tortilla, and they have it! You can taste that all are fresh ingredients and the tacos are well filled!
Horrible service. The lady asked me what i wanted and then gave me the wrong order. When I explained that to the lady at the front she tried to up charge me for HER mistake. Not how you do business. I was very specific on what i wanted and told her 3 times. Definitely not recommending this place of business to anybody. Do better
Love this place, I always come here for my breakfast tacos. I put everyone on at nasa to come here. One of the best for some good breakfast tacos.
I love these tacos! All the ingredients are fresh and delicious and the service is excellent!
First time visiting and i’ll for sure be back.the tacos were the perfect size and very fresh ingredients.
Breakfast tacos are cold if you order to late in the day. Lunch is good, but a bit pricey. Not to bad, but i feel like the cooks there are a bit lazy.
Classic Mexico street tacos! I recommend the bistec (steak) & creamy jalapeños sauce. They were buttery & well seasoned.
Honestly 6 bucks for ONE taco! Let's be real. This aint even ALMOST equivalent to "taco truck" tacos and I get ONE for $2 maybe add on. 50 cents. I tried the place because the lady has been wanting to try it. Wanted to surprise her. I am with a MEXICAN woman. She would cuss me out for bringing this AMERICAN taco home. It was OKAY! But nowhere near a "taco date". It is very MID. Something you can make at home. Presentation was good. But lets be real who cares about that if it doesn't taste like $6 a taco.
Great little unassuming gem with excellent barbacoa, delicious flour tortillas, and the BEST spicy salsa roja. I also highly recommend the bean/cheese/potato/bacon taco - it slaps hard. The experience has gotten much better over time. Last year, the tacos were mediocre, but we gave it another shot and every dish seemed to have gotten overhauled. Try it. You won't regret it.
Stopped by during our trip to Seabrook. Saw good reviews and wasn't disappointed, the tacos were delicious and hit the spot.
If the food was not good extremely greasy couldn't hardly eat it gave me diarrhea for 2 days but the worst part is the owner keeps all of the credit card tips that his waitresses make he doesn't allow them to keep any of their tips unless it's cash which is illegal because he's charging them the tax on all the sales. So as far as I'm concerned this place should be boycotted the owners terrible he treats his employees terrible and the food is atrocious do not spend your money
