The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch, Katy TX

First time playing at Cinco, nice little track, Kyle in the pro shop was very helpful and courteous, he made me feel right at home.

This is a great club with affordable memberships and green fees. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. The clinic instructors have greatly improved my game.

Watch out! Somebody broke into our car while golfing here. They did not assist at all and said cctv didn't work.

Recently had my wedding here, so thankful I chose this location. Scott and Alexa were so helpful throughout my planning process. I had a lot of DIY elements and family helping set up my wedding, and the golf club's cooperation made my entire experience as a bride so much less stressful. The outdoor ceremony area is beautiful, the club is nice and clean, the reception halls are spacious. I visited 2 other similar golf clubs in Katy when I was touring venues, but the Golf Club at Cinco Ranch was the most accommodating and aesthetically pleasing to me.

I am a golf club member and I went to the golfing range around 12 P. M. The person in front of me was given 2 baskets of balls and so I also asked the man at the hut for 2 baskets but he gave me an awful attitude. Eventually he got the 2 baskets and then slammed it on the counter right in front of me and then told me to "Get out". He has always given me a horrible attitude and makes it obvious that he's in a bad mood. I dont understand why i have to pay money to play and get treated like that. It makes me wonder if it's because i am asian.

I’ve been taking lessons with Brian Ward at Cinco Ranch. This is a great facility. The course looks great. The practice areas are wonderful.
Brian is a great instructor. He pays attention to many details, he is pleasant, patient, and explains himself very well. I have made significant improvements in just 2 lessons.

My 14 year old daughter was there golfing and an older man offered her a shot of alcohol, tried to give her lessons and became rude when kindly asked to relax. Had to call the police. As a mother this is very alarming.

Recently played this course in late-August 2022. Given the drought conditions of this summer, the course is surprisingly very “green”. Greens were perfect. Fairways had soft turf. Bunkers had soft sand.
I didn’t see one imperfection on the greens. Credit to the superintendent and course management/ownership.
All staff encountered were very pleasant and welcoming. The course looks easier on GPS than in actual play, as there are gulleys lining many fairways and green side rough can be thick.

1 area of improvement: Pace of play. While my round was 4.5 hours, it could have been just 4 hours. We had an older twosome holding up my group on each hole. Granted, we all want to be respectful of the customers, especially older ones, but a course can do more to ensure that 4 hour rounds are not 4.5 hours. Without a professional/courteous/firm marshall to hold groups accountable, 4.5 hour rounds will turn into 5 hour rounds.

All in all, Cinco Ranch is one of the best public courses under $90 in the Houston area and is worth a visit.

The staff are excellent. The course had many inprovements in 2021; however, the greens and tee boxes have been rough lately. The driving range is almost always in such bad shape I am hitting off dirt. Additionally the pace of play is almost unbearable. I have a membership here and as of late have been paying $50-$100 more to play at locations with an active marshall for a relaxing round. Tons of potential here, but needs some member/customer management.

Great course with friendly staff my only issue is cart fee is always included even when walking and there is not a 9 hole tee time only 18 holes.

Fairly decent course, Great food, Amazing customer service. Nice gentleman named Matthew was a tremendous help in helping me make plans for my nephews lessons!

Played here on 3/3. For this time of year, the course is in pretty good condition - Fairways show signs of life, greens are very fast but have an abundance of poa annua grass, especially on the front 9. Traps were a bit inconsistent (some very fluffy and other's no fluff). I would have probably given 3.5 or 4 stars but when we finished at approx 4: 30, the bar/restaurant was closed? Maybe its the sign of the times (Covid) but it would have nice to sit down and have cold one after the round

Courteous staff and clean venue. Attended. Friend’s 50th birthday. Recommend as a good venue for private party, wedding, or any event!

Christmas holidays, the club charge premium fees, but operates as discounted club, stacking lots of people, never had to wait so much

We were there and the course is nice. The Drink girl was really nice too and friendly. But i have a huge issues with the management there. I have been trying to call for 2 weeks now to talk to Sean but dude is like the most busy guy in the world.he would NEVER get on a call or he would never return my calls.the next step is to drive over there and talk to the guy.there is ALWAYS an excuse to why i cannot talk to him, from he is busy, he is away, he is at lunch, he left for the day, he went on vacation to the transfer is not working. Left messages after messages for this guy to call but NO return calls. Very unprofessional and sad. If that is how they treat their customers.
