Hi, I had positive experience with the Grass Outlet company. The person on the phone was very knowledgeable of what I was needing, answered my questions and wasn't in a hurry to get off the phone. Once I scheduled the appointment, the day of the arrival they were punctual and the grass was green and fresh! Loved It!

This was a great process overall. The ladies helped me order my grass over the phone and answered all my questions. The grass was delivered all the way from Austin for a reasonable fee and everything was on time and efficient. Would order from them again.

The order process was so easy. I picked up my grass and the process was very easy. The end product was very fresh and was installed and watered as they advised. So far the grass has grown perfectly in the yard.

Avoid this place. Not only was my grass INFESTED with ants, a few brown recluse spiders and random grubs, (they were nice enough to send a bottle of pesticide treatment though) a few weeks later I called and emailed and filled out some form regarding fungus growing EVERYWHERE. I questioned their suggestion for the type of grass purchased considering the amount of fungus growing. Perhaps not enough sunlight for the grass? Regardless, never heard back. So on top of working and running a small business I'm watching my $1k investment just die a little more everyday. This company has offered to remedy. I wish I had chosen a different company 100% at least one that FOLLOWS UP WITH CONCERNS.

We planted our new grass in the dead of summer. The grass never turned brown, even after weeks of 100 degree days and continuous winds! Awesome product!

After looking at a few different places at prices I was torn between the ease of buffalo grass which is native, but gets weed problems, and Palisades Zoysia. I am glad I went with the Zoysia. Got delayed a few days due to rain for delivery, and even then the sod was a bit damp and the bottom crushed by the weight of the top, but the sod looks amazing, and even the sacrificial extra squares they added to the top seem to be doing OK after 5 days with minor browning on the edges, but it should come back and be filled in soon.

Overall it is a lot of hard work to DIY a sod lawn, but I am liking the quality of the sod I received.the only infestation I see is of wolf spiders.

PS I looked and seeing Lowes and other big box stores prices are nearly criminal, but I guess if you need a few squares of St Augustine that is baked on a pallet in the parking lot for a day or 2 then they got you for $3 a sq ft.or over $400 for a pallet

EDIT: For those looking for reviews with a follow up. We followed the instructions on watering installing this grass in the height of summer was not the best idea, but it all took and looked pretty great except 1 spot where we had neighbor kids mow and they oblitarated some of the grass using a string trimmer. Would still highly recommend. I didn't fully maintain the grass and had a decent amount of vech come thru, but overall it was good sod and low maintenance grass that looked great even a bit overgrown.which is exactly what I was looking for.

(Make it right you have my # call me Michelle) My small company ordered a half pallet of zoysia their company was unable to work due to heavy rain in the sod fields, my order was delayed which I understood fully, they said they would call as soon as work resumed, the call never came, but claim they had me on video picking it up which not true and did not refund my $216.50, they stole my money period. No one could have picked it up because I had the order # on my phone, they never produced a video either, I'll never refer them again thieves

I ordered both Palisades Zoysia and St. Augustine Palmetto and was extremely impressed with the quality upon delivery. Very healthy and green. The delivery driver even called 10 minutes before he arrived and worked quickly to drop the pallets in the driveway. Several days after planting, the sod looks just as good as when it was delivered and is growing surprisingly well in the Texas summer hear. Highly recommend The Grass Outlet!

Delivery was spot on…I ordered 10 pallets of Bermuda tiffway.the grass quality was average. About 5% was unusable. About 30% was too thin. The balance was ok…$250 per pallet - quality should be better….

Update:
1 month later, and I'm still very impressed with the quality of Celebrity Bermuda grass.the grass has completely integrated into my new home's lawn that had multiple dead spots and pooling water. I just wanted to replace the ugly dead spots in my front lawn. However, I had a few extra pieces that I decided to lay directly on top on the existing lawn in pooling water areas.and to my surprise, the extra pieces quickly took root AND decreased the challenge of pooling water.now I'm receiving compliments from my neighbors that my grass looks like a quality golf course.
