The Grill, San Angelo TX

Food and service was very good. I will ppint out that the vast majority of restaurants and bars base their tip suggestions on food and drink charges, and DO NOT INCLUDE TAXES IN THEIR TIP CALCULATIONS.
Just FYI.

The ribs were an excellent choice, they were slightly dry the tiniest bit but fantastic otherwise and the coleslaw, I never experienced one I enjoyed until I came here, the owners sincerely have a passion for flavor and you can tell in this place. Take your date, and anyone you intend to impress, no doubt at all they will love this place

I’m giving a 2 due to the salmon my husband got was good, but my Cesar salad with chicken tastes like chicken from the can. But even then $25 for a small slice of salmon, $6 extra for chicken that tasted like tuna-eh I’ve had way better. Our waitress never checked up on us and was busy on her phone. When she did check up on us was to ask if I wanted to take my horrible salad home that I ended up not eating

Good place, the food is good, I get ribs but they were a bit dry, the dessert was incredible.you have to get the cornbread OMG.

Just mediocre at best, pricey, sloppy service, servers were incompetent. The place was cold and loud.

The food was absolutely amazing, we got the barria tacos and the seafood cocktail for appetizer. The servers, I think they were putting us in this category, because we didn't get waited on completely well. The food at The Grill is always amazing. We will definitely be back.

I believe this to be the best nachos in San Angelo. They have a great happy hour, lots of daily specials. The service is friendly.
Armenta's is one of our favorite restaurants and we were not surprised to find out The Grill is the same owner. Great food.

We just had some appetizers & some adult beverages. We sat on the patio great atmosphere & our waitress was so nice.

Went there for Happy Hour, ordered an appetizer. The appetizer was incorrect. They were slow to get our drinks to us, and right before we left, they brought me a beer that was still on our tab.

Awesome food as always, great drink menu. Sat @ bar staff was amazing. Place is always busy so plan accordingly.

From the friendly welcome and recommendations on menu, we were amazed with The Grill. The pork chops were the best we've ever had and the salmon was cooked exactly as requested. Then, the vegetables! Spaghetti squash cooked like I've never heard of and EXCELLENT! SAUTÉED SPINACH served still looking like spinach and tasty. Well equipped bar with good wine selections. We will always eat at The Grill when in San Angelo. Tres Leches was the best.

If you haven't tried this place out yet, you're missing out. From the staff to the food to the bar, all a 10 out of 10. Try the surf and turf, order your steak anyway you like, guarantee its going to be on point. Try out the blackberry lemonade from the bar, and you might find a new hangout after work. All in all this is opinion based, but I would be hard pressed to find a legitimate argument otherwise. Remember to tip the waitstaff according to your approval.

Gorgeous food, both visually and deliciously! The open kitchen is really cool, too, but it’s also the only thing that’s disappointing is that the chefs in the back seem to just always be chatting up a storm both times I’ve been here, which is kinda disruptive to my fiancé and I when we want to sit at the bar, and also why we think our food takes so long to come out… 4 stars just for a lack of professionalism in the kitchen. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing people love what they do and enjoy their coworkers and environment, it’s just off putting hearing loud, sometimes bordering on vaguely inappropriate topics. We are from San Antonio and here for the weekend. This was a great pick! We started with the guacamole with queso… fabulous and possible the best guacamole I have ever had. You can see we ate all. Great combination as the queso is not your typical.

I had the rigatoni and can honestly say San Antonio can not complete with it. It was delicious! I was told the grilled meat loaf and the Zuni Chicken Salad was delicious as well!

Service was great…. San Antonio is lacking there as well!

If we are ever back in San Angelo we will be back!

First time visit. Needed a quick lunch. Had the chicken sandwich. It was very good and the fries are great.

Door and website says it's open till 10pm and it was 9: 29 and doors were locked 2 ladies that work there saw us and didn't even acknowledge us! I love coming here and it's the 1st time this happens so disappointed I was looking on having yalls jalapeño martini. PLZ FIX YOUR HOURS.

Love visiting The Grill. The food is fresh, fantastic. The staff are really personable.
The Chefs are out of this world which helps when your vegetarian or vegan.
They aim to please.

Tonight's Birthday Dinner at The Grill was perfect. First, you took or reso for a party of 10. Thank you! Our waiteress China was excellent. Kudos to their entire staff. The wait staff were always running out other waiter's orders. When our apps or salads, drinks and dinner was seemlessly arriving at our table with such little distraction to our Family chatter. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening!

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend for dinner on a Friday evening. It was pretty busy but there was plenty of seating available in the patio area. Our waiter was Edgar and he had us our drinks and appetizer almost immediately after ordering them. He was very attentive and although the food was good, the service from Edgar was the best part of the experience. We will definitely be coming back.

Lots of places that claim to be dog friendly are better described as dog tolerant. They have tables outside in the dust and they don't care if you bring a dog.

Not this place. There is an enclosed patio with fans and air conditioning, and the server kept my dog's water bowl topped up.

Also maybe the best Cobb salad I've ever had.

6 star experience.
