The Home Depot, Killeen TX

Our experience has been a complete mess with this store. We went to the store and ordered everything we needed for a fence. We were having it delivered to our home and requested a signature because this was an expensive purchase. We received an email 4 days later letting us know when our delivery was coming. We received 2 small boxes with fence caps on 9/12. Our delivery was supposed to be 9/14. At 6: 30 am this morning home Depot delivered one pallet with 21 bags of concrete. Then several hours later I got 2 poles and a small box of hardware. We have called multiple times to keep being told they will get back to us. A supervisor has been unavailable to speak with us. A contractor is scheduled to start work tomorrow and no one at home Depot has an answer to where the rest of our delivery is or when we will get it. We were informed we will get an email. Absolutely would not order my building materials from here again. This is a disaster.

Today we were helped by an 80 year old man in the plumbing dept. His name was Bill and he went out of his way to help. Helped us figure out how to make what they had work. Every business needs more helpful workers like Bill.

This just a friendly reminder, this Home Depot won’t load service for U-Haul rental car because the U-Haul truck might be damaged. However, they accept trailer.

Has what Home Depot should have, but beware of packaged items. I've had to return things 3 times that were defective and had obviously been repackaged. Also, be sure to have the Home Depot app because the prices in this store are often higher than the prices in the app. Be advised that the so called contractor parking is not oversize contractor parking like most Home Depots, but almost compact car parking.

Amanda was amazing. All managers should work this hard and be given a thank you to their commitment towards valuable costumer service.

I waited on hold for over 45 minutes for someone to answer my call about a toilet install that I purchased. And have been waiting for someone to contact the about setting up a install date and time it’s only been 6 weeks since I paid for the toilet and install at the store. Looks like I will be requesting a refund and go somewhere else to get my toilet installed. They don’t seem to be every concern about taking care of customers at this location.

I have never had such a bad experience with ordering and customer service in my life. I have been in customer service for the past 14 years. But collectively atleast 18 years. I placed an order online. It was supposed to be delivered today 6/17/23. I have been at home all day and watching the online to see when it said delivered on both sites. Home Depot and fedex site. When it said so I went to check and I did not receive the package. I called Home Depot online not the store. I spoke to someone and was told I had to call my card company and file a dispute. I asked so there is nothing you guys can do since it was ordered from you guys. I was told no and it’s on me to get it figured it out. I have never had such a bad experience and I will never shop at any Home Depot in store or on line. And I will tell every customer I come across in my line of work about such bad customer service and share my experience with them.

They sold some of the items i ordered to someone else, delivered the rest and still charged me for delivery of a partial order. Than the lady at the store says it's my fault cause I didn't answer thier phone call. Terrible service!

My tool spot and everything else I need. Good customer service too when I can't find what I need.

Its just another Home Depot. My only issue is they don't have tool rental & closet 1 that does is an hour away.

I've always considered myself a Home Depot guy and spend A LOT of money both at their stores and online with my HD credit card and have to say this Killeen store has the worst customer service. I understand there's probably an employee shortage still from the pandemic so I try to give a lot of grace but I think I'm about out of patience with them. I'm pretty knowledgable about what I need and how to use it so rarely if ever ask for assistance but on this day I just needed a 4x8 sheet of plywood cut in half because I didn't bring a truck that day and need it to fit in my Jeep. I was told, "we're the only two here so you're just going to have to wait. " Wow! A little critical thinking would have gone a long way here. They were loading pallets onto a trailer and I get they have regulations that require both of them to run the fork lift, but literally it would have take less then 15 sec for the flag guy to walk over and run the single cut on the wood I already loaded onto the saw for them, as I explained, and get back to it. I was limited on time as I have a job to do also, so waiting 30 min before walking away from my two lumber carts full of hundreds of dollars of wood. I get way better service at Lowe's and HomeBase (and they turn on the AC in the summer) so that's were my money will be going from now on.

I was in the area and decided to stop at this location. The garden area was so unorganized, and dirty, with barely any prices on anything. There was no one there to help you with questions or to help you get items down. I finally left and went to Lowe's in Killeen where I had a better experience. I love Home Depot but this location isn't the best. I like our Home Depot in Temple a lot better.

Huge shoutout to Juliana in appliances. Juliana went above and beyond to provide A1 customer service. She was kind, courteous, helpful, and professional. She even stayed late on a Sunday to help us get our new washer and dryer ordered. Kudos and thanks again Juiana!

Don't buy a trailer from them. Go anywhere else. They won't know what their doing. They'll tell you they can't print tags. But when you come back the next day madder than a badger with a clamp on its nuts because the DMV won't register your trailer without the buyers tags.suddenly they can print them.

When an employee that "knows" how to ring up a trailer has to ask someone else of you need the tags and they say no, it's just a strategy to get you out of there quicker.

Drive out of town if you have to. Don't buy your trailer here. I'll be shopping at Loews from now on.

I love this store, most workers will help if you ask for it. On the other hand there is always that one employee who rather be elsewhere instead of doing their job.

A good place where I almost always find everything I'm looking for, there are very friendly employees, but there are others where the cement material is that doesn't help much, but everything is fine from there on out.

Me and my husband got a washer / dryer today, Joe helped us and has amazing customer service he’s the best!

This Home Depot isn't as good as some of the others, and it's hard to find knowledgeable help.

Worked with the paint section on Saturday and required some help matching an old bucket of stain. Staff was extremely attentive and did an awesome job helping me get a match! They also were fast and professional!
