The Home Depot reviews
20 Over-staffed store with poorly trained employees who do not know proper English. Spent 1.5 hours looking for “sorbents”. Not one of the five employees I asked to help me ever heard of the word. Even after five brief lessons in basic word origins which was necessary to describe what I needed, I was sent to five different aisles. After an hour of walking from one side of store to the other (twice) I yelled down an employee to notice me. He found an “adult” who knew what sorbents were. And finally was able to check out. Be advised that employees are paid to be on their cell phones and management is no where to be found.
Home Depot once had stellar service and training that was actually remarkable. This subpar experience is a sign of our times.
Helpful people quality merchandise everything I'm looking for in one place. In fact I find things I didn't even know I was looking for in one place.
Horrible horrible horrible no one helps you and when they do they have an attitude especially in tools or in hardware
Home depot is my second home
I spend time and money there every day very helpful home depot
I bought two Ridgid cordless tool combos for my business. What sold me was they said if they were registered I would have a lifetime warranty on them through Home Depot.
When I went to return nonworking tools they now tell me the tools are not covered and only available for repair through rigid.do what you say.don't sell under false pretenses.
Store felt extremely cluttered and the staff was nowhere to be found except at customer service and the 3 who were just chatting at the self checkout.
One guy by the doors section at the desk was very dismissive when I was explaining what I needed and he just sent me in a general direction after he cut me off several times to tell me the (wrong) thing I needed. After that, though, the people I talked to were great. In lumber and gardening everyone was awesome.
Always well stocked, always someone there to help, and if not, no one in orange is upset when you randomly stop them.
I rented a texture sprayer for a job I did in flowermond.it was 1 room only the store is 20 minutes from the job site. It took me over 3h to throw 3 boxes of p3? When I returned the machine no discount was given.sad to say I will never rent from home depot in Denton again
I just go to the Lewisville location now. This one always has problems. Either low stock, not enough lines open therefore LOOOONG lines, then difficulty with returns even with a valid receipt 2 weeks old. It's a tool store and it shouldn't be that hard.
Having the Trager guy out front bothering me everytime I walk in your store is ridiculous. It's going to make me stop shopping at your store if you continue to let people haggle you as you try and enter the store. Very tacky and poor judgement for the store to allow this.
Never enough staff so always takes a while to find what you need. But they usually have it somewhere
Cashiers were very friendly very helpful
if you have the Home Depot app on your smartphone it makes it very easy to find any item looking for
The worst home improvement store I have ever experienced! We purchased a $3600.00 refrigerator which they never delivered and told us they did! We had to hire a lawyer in order to get our money back and the manager refused to pay our attorneys fees so we were out our hard earned money. Currently the Attorney General’s office is conducting an investigation of what they did to us! They are horrible and will NEVER get one penny from us or any of our friends ever again!
They have plenty of what I needed supply wise and the gentleman running self checkout was on top of any questions or issues customers had.
They will sell you a lawn mower all.day long but there's never anyone to help you when that mower needs basic parts very frustrating.
Home Depot is always fun to visit their inventory of many household items has grown exponentially over the past few years. However, if you are looking for something specific it can often be very hard to find. It used to be hard to find a member of personnel to get help from, but that has definitely improved.
Good service had to find some parts in the electrical section gentleman their took real good care of me
Needed assistance in flooring. Asked three separate employees who said they would find someone to help. Here we are 45 minutes later, still waiting for assistance. Website said 55 boxes were in inventory. Now they’re having issues finding a lift to pull down three boxes of flooring. So ridonkulous.
I love Home Depot! Great tools and supplies and a knowledgeable staff. Quick in and out even though there were many shoppers. A+ Home Depot!
