I tried to assist someone in moving there today. The loading dock was busy, so I pulled my uhaul to the front and spoke Brandon, and he told me I can use the regular elevator to move my small things in the mean time because the other family said they’d be about an hour. I began to move and based off the reviews I’m assuming it was Angela that pulled up next to me in her Buick and starting giving me attitude. She didn’t even try to explain what we were doing wrong “ you can’t park here or do this” I don’t even write reviews but she clearly needs some customer service training.

The office staff all over the place, you ask them a question, and you'll get back I DON"T KNOW. Also they never call you back or email. I have been living here for about a year now, and IT"S BEEN HELL.be careful of the main maintenance. We had problems with him, he will yell at you, call the cops, lie about you, and also try or will get you kicked out. Just a heads up on him. The prev.managers, i have no clue how this manager will work out, but the prev.managers never did anything about the situations that we had, they look the other way. It was never resolved. Also be prepared to not have hot running water for two weeks when it freezes in winter, have electrical issues, and have to stand outside in the cold because the fire alarm keeps going off. There is so many issues we had to deal with living here. We feel very disrespected, violated, and discriminated against. No one should go through what we had to. So this is why we give this place no stars, they don't deserve it. Oh yes, one more thing i have to address. You can't make one big sound, because you'll have the police or security at your door We had one security say that he was standing out at our front door for a min to see if he could hear anything. He said he couldn't hear anything. He apologized to us and stated that he had to follow up on the complaint. I had to put one star to even post this.

Disappointed. We moved to The Huntington almost two years ago and at the time, the office staff was friendly, the amenities worked, felt like a comfortable environment.

Over the last 6-8 months prior to my departure, after; a 24+% rate increase, nervous tenants leaving, and seemingly having trouble filling the rooms, the management team looked to the government to step in to provide occupancy, (confirmed via phone but no formal communication occurred to all the residents). This aligns with an increase in issues that were soon to follow.

With few cameras, and little communication of events from the office, many are uncomfortable to walk out alone/ stay in alone after sundown. You can also visibly see the unease in the number of ring cameras recently installed by residents.

Despite having raised these concerns, they had never replied to emails through the portal. When I finally did get a callback regarding concerns, they downplayed awareness of the police presence stating they are ‘minor’ incidents such as domestic abuse don’t need to be reported to them.

After a security meeting when 40 or so out of the roughly 140 units voiced concerns, they committed to looking into some of the solutions being brought forward. Unfortunately, we did not get a commitment to make any changes and none seem to have been (outside switching from one bad security company to another, who tried to impliment a curfew of 10 pm). As well, there seems to be a severe reluctance to meet again to discuss what changes have occurred. (I have since left, so maybe this has changed)

When there finally was an email, it was about an attempted car theft and ‘gun discharge’. The ‘ discharge’ was multiple holes in the side of the car, in the parking garage, and with one dead. The police report can be found online.

The ‘discharge’ came post, a few apartment break-ins on the top two floors (kicked in by someone dressed up as a carrier, with laptops and jewelry stolen), and prior, a car was stolen from the 5th-floor parking lot (the car being stolen came with zero communications). To date, there are still individuals dressing up as security/ parcel carriers going door to door, no communication of these outside of residents warning each other.

Besides the elevators reeking of, weed, and pee (all at various times), I have also found a dead baby turtle, which is very illegal due to the diseases carried.

With the few churns of management teams/ owners/ leasing office, this is not a place I was going to stay anymore, and who would want to with the increasingly negative reviews?

Having said that, the maintenance workers are great. As well, the move-out process was relatively easy and smooth (besides an overbooked service elevator of tenants leaving). Maybe the new team there can correct these issues, I'm not sure.

Do yourself a favor and don't move here, you're going to save yourself a lot of money and headaches. The building and the apartments are nice but the management is the WORST, VERY RUDE people. Many things happened to us in this building and they never did their job, I was being overcharged and they said they didn’t know what those charges were, and I’m still waiting for them to help me idk if they are lazy but I know for sure they aren’t efficient at all.

Your car can be towed inside the parking lot even when is registered, is like they have a business with propark to take money from you. So you don’t sleep at night thinking they can take away your car. WHERE AM I LIVING!?

When we moved her 3-4 years ago everything was great and I used to love living here but once Fairfield took over everything changed for worse.

I really wish they selected better personal, that could change everything for better. For now I’ll move out of here, I can’t live in a place like this where you are treated like garbage.

The only good thing about this building is the maintenance team! They are the best.

I would highly recommend to work with Brandon, he was very supportive, knowledgeable and considerate throughout my move in process. Thank you Brandon for all the help. Appreciate it.

I see the Huntington as being the ideal community for me. It has just what's needed to live safe and comfortable. I love the privacy I have and convenience of the dog park. Thank you for everything

Maintenance gets things done quickly, and they’re very friendly. If it wasn’t for them, I’d be leaving one star. The management office is the worst. They are never available to pick up the phone, and are very dismissive of serious questions. They also never reply to emails!

Bad management attitude. Was in search for an apartment and when i tried to tour, they behave like they are doing some kind of favor on us. Cold experience

TLDR: if you don’t have a native accent, don’t even bother.
I called to schedule a visit, the guy who answered said “I don’t understand you” and just hung up the phone, this is the only place that “didn’t understand me” after calling several apartments.

The Huntington continues to get worst. A month ago I reported that someone vomited by the garage entrance. It has been a moth and it has not been pressured wash. Everyone has to see throw up everyday on their way to their apartment.

———————————————————————I have lived at the Huntington for 4 years and their management was great but they changed management and everything changed. Staff is not friendly and it takes them a long time to get little things done. I went to get a package today and the locker was stuck so I asked one of the property managers to call the locker company to get it fixed. The property manager said it couldn’t be done until tomorrow. I had to call the locker company myself and they resolved the issue within five minutes. The service is getting really bad here and it’s like the employees are just there to collect a paycheck but not work.

Horrible move-in experience- apartment was dirty, filthy and not one person from mgmt contacted us after they were aware of all the issues. So much more to say hoping things don’t get any worse!

Nichole explained to us everything properly, showed us around the property, showed us the floor plans we were interested in. She also detailed out the charges and specials.

Very nice place……My ONLY issue and reason for the low rating is because for over a week I’ve been trying to get a live person from the office to talk to me. I’ve emailed and called and left message after message and even texted back and forth numerous times with a very specific question and kept getting generic responses and promises that someone from the actual leasing office would call me and was unable to get anyone on the phone to save my life. So today I drove from Irving all the way over there. The manager who was a very nice lady I will say, finally answered my question. It’s just insane that I had to drive way over there for something someone could have told me a week ago over the phone.

I really enjoy living here. I LOVE my apartment and the amenities. It is very quiet here and I have great neighbors! Maintenance requests get taken care of the same day I submit them! Office staff has always been very responsive and helpful! Best apartment community I have lived in!

We had lived at The Huntington from 02/2021 to 12/24/2022. Rent and all fees are collected at the beginning of each month. And for each and every month I had paid the rent and all fees.

Shortly after moving out. We began getting collection calls about some fees we owe to Huntington Apartment. Huntington never sent us any communication, they had our contact info including our mail. There was never any clear explanation on what those charges are. We had tried to contact the Huntington but have not been able to get anyone on the phone.

Lastly, we had made a deposit of $300 when our lease began, we have been unsuccessful in getting that returned to us.

First, we got there without an appointment. Second, the woman who attended us was very polite, and gave me all the information I needed.

I have been looking around the Plano area for apartments. I was working with an apartment hunter and scheduled a tour for a Saturday. It was confirmed by The Huntington office. When we arrived for the tour, the office was completely dark and no one was there. There was a sign in the door that said be back by 10 AM. However, it was approaching 11 AM. We waited for about 15 minutes. We finally called the office number and it rang to the Fairfield call center and they told us the office is closed on Saturday. Why would they knowingly schedule a tour for a day they are closed!? Needless to say I did not sign a lease with this property. LOL.

Nice complex, impressive maintenance department. Tickets are resolved in hours typically rather than days.
