Great food! Great drinks! Great service!

I would give 5 stars but I don't how, going through 1 person from phone order to out the door, an order has special instructions.stating include flatware and napkins, and still send a traveler out the door to eat with their fingers.wth?

My fiancé and I ate here today with my parents. We were celebrating our recent engagement. He ordered his food without sour cream and without tomatoes. It came out with both, despite the server (who did a great job) ringing it in correctly. When we let them know that it was wrong, they took the plate back and just scraped the tomatoes and sour cream off. Which still left some tomatoes and sour cream residue on the plate. When we pointed this out the server she was very apologetic and told us she’d speak with a manager. When the manager returned with a remade plate, she was not apologetic at all and was very snide with us. We are jalapeño tree lovers and our server, Rocky, was great. But, this was definitely a really disappointing experience for us today.

Decent tex mex. The tequila cream sauce is good. What caught me by surprise was the quality of the shrimp. They were jumbo, fresh, grilled and delicious. Our table ordered ski by jalapeno margaritas and they were amazing. This is worth your time and probably one of the best places to eat in Canton.

It's ok. They needed to cook our food longer. The shredded cheese inside the enchiladas was not melted.

All the food was delicious this time, but something with a fishy smell did not smell right. It made us gag each time it passed by. Overall 4/5

We got the fajitas el Dorado, they were amazing! The queso was not good at all, but they were nice and took it off the bill. Chips and salsa were good, green sauce was my favorite.

The service wasn't good. The food could have been better for the price I paid. And my son saw an employee leave the bathroom without washing his hands. Won't be going back.

Over priced and low quality food. At best the food is average as well as the service your going to receive.

This was my first experience at a Jalapeno Tree. The waitress was nice, did her job as expected, and none of the negatives were any fault of hers.

My drink order was a very disappointing Coronarita due, to the small sized and poor value. However, it did have a holder for the Corona which was a nice touch. I asked for a larger size Beerita because the larger size was only $2 more than the already nearly $9 Coronarita. The same drink was dumped into a larger glass, the beer poured partially in the glass, and to top it off the bottle was shoved in the glass, without the bottle holder, causing overflow. I decided against the drink and the waitress graciously removed the item from my ticket.

The meal experience was no better. I received the worst enchiladas I have had the misfortune of being served with a cheese covered, flat, mildly warm cheese enchilada. I also received a Chicken enchilada that appeared to be made with dark meat that was drenched in sour cream sauce. Yet, the flauta that came with the meal was very tasty.

My daughter received an almost ice cold tamale that was cut down the center and split open. It appeared to have been microwaved, allowed to sit for a substantial amount of time, and dried out. My son received a cheese taco comparable to my cheese enchilada.

To end the outing we were unable to get ice cream cones because there were ants on the cone dispenser. Overall this was a terrible first experience at Jalapeno Tree. I will not be returning.

Crazy good Mexican food served by friendly people with great prices. Kinda loud so find a walled booth in a corner if you're on a date and need quiet.

This was my first visit to Jalapeno Tree anywhere, and this was a pleasant surprise for me. I ordered the chile rellenos for $11.99 and for $2 you got an extra chili relleno, so of course I ordered it. I thought that was a little bit expensive until they brought the order out, these chile rellenos should have been babies, one of them could have been named like a baby it was so large. I had to use two hands to carry the left over food out! LOL. They were really tasty, full of beef and cheese with a cheese queso sauce, chips were thin and crispy, the green dip for the chips was good, I did not care for the red sauce, the flour tortillas were okay, the corn tortillas were okay. Britt was my waitress and she was awesome. I felt the tea was over priced at $2.59 but I'm a cheapskate sometimes. I will go back.

I understand a longer than normal wait time. What I don't understand is a 45 minute wait when half the restaurant is empty.
A big part of that problem is having too many hosts and not enough servers.
At one point there were 6 employees at the host stand. Because of this they were making careless mistakes such as putting the wrong pager number down for our party of 2. Then when no one responded to the pager, instead of calling for our party they marked is as attempted and moved on. The only reason we even knew is because I went up and checked after another party of 2 got called, yes this time audibly called.
The entire time we waited and eventually ate the western half of the restaurant, the side on the left behind the host station when you come in the door, sat empty.
Besides the wait, the quality of the food has gone downhill. This used to be the go to spot for my wife and me, not that there's a plethora of choice in the area, but we both remarked that we're not looking to go back anytime soon.

Have seen The Jalapeno Tree by Hwy 20 and Hwy 19 in Canton for a while but have never stopped. Well today I did and am I glad I did! Some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in a long time! The chips and salsa are great, they have a sour cream and green chili dip that's out of this world! Yummy! Had the Chili Reyeno lunch that was so flavorful and great tasting I didn't want it to end. The service was quick and very friendly and the Manager even came by to check on me. Very clean and a great atmosphere, Kudos to everyone there for a great lunch! Don't miss it like I did in the beginning, you'll regret it!

To Go ordering Canton First Monday Weekend was a fiasco. The red-headed older female Bartender is clearly overwhelmed with her workload; she is turse in her addressing of coworkers and customers, alike. I stood at her bar for several minutes and was never acknowledged. Placed a to go order via phone, waited 25 minutes before I even drove to the establishment, then once I did arrive at the restaurant, I was directed to the bar by the hosts, whereupon the Bartender proceeded to ignore me. I was subsequently was made to wait an additional 15 minutes because the order wasn't ready. THEN, on top of all that, I left the restaurant with an incomplete order. Will not be going back to this location, even though I love Jalapeño Tree. Get your shizz together Jalapeño Tree.

Fresh tortillas were great. Chili rellenos were awesome. Loved the family atmosphere around mid-afternoon on a Saturday.
