The Lancaster Hotel reviews
16Absolutely the best hotel. We enjoyed the room, food, drinks, and service. Two gentlemen - Jesus and Alexander (I hope I got their names right) - made us feel like royalty. We will be back.
Everything here is exquisite. Love the effort in all the details around the hotel and during your stay. Stayed during the holiday season and the atmosphere, rooms, breakfast, service - all wonderful!
Lovely hotel, quality rooms with lots of free snacks. Downtown location is somewhat dead since COVID.
Staff was amazing, from the beginning they offer you champagne. After a long flight that gesture really makes your day. Shout out to Laura at the front desk she was so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Only bad side was the rooms, they are a little outdated but maybe that’s the theme?
It’s funny that I haven’t even finish my night at this place, like we just got the room but I’ve been all over the world and had so many different hotel experiences but this place its just unbelievable, so clean and everyone is so real they not just doing there job, this is a 7 star hospitality and have great feeling the moment we got to the valet gentlemen, overall im sure we gonna have a beautiful experience here, just added to my top favorite hotel in the world.
Amado, Alexis, Kaylee were very helpful with checking in and out! Phenomenal customer service and very respectful! I had a great stay! Will highly recommend!
Nice hotel. Excellent customer service and the breakfast was surprisingly really good for a complimentary breakfast at a hotel.
I chose this hotel because of its location relative to Minute Maid park anditsupscalereputation. Upon arrival outside, we were greeted promptly albeit not super friendly but not rude or indifferent either. At check-in we were greeted promptly, professionally and warmly. A glass of sparkling wine was offered. The room was very nicely appointed and the hotel looked very well maintained. They use Frette towels and a complimentary array of snacks and beverages are provided. The room was a bit small but very nice. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was great as well. The ONLY negative thing was that only 1 elevator was working so I had to take the stairs to the 8th floor or wait forever. Other than the elevator, great hotel. I would definitely reccomend.
The hotel is quaint and lovely, we are at the restaurant prior to a performance at Jones Hall. The food was just alright, not great. The charcuterie board we started out with was stale with dried cheese and dry meats. The onion soup was so salty and more like a cheese rubber soup that could not be eaten. However the service was impeccable.
Great service and hospitality! Excellent deluxe room, very clean. This is my 4th stay and Lancaster never disappoints!
This is an awesome place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The one thing I would like to see done is to fix the elevator that was not useable when we stayed there. We will stay here again and again.
Best hotel in Houston. Very romantic and European feeling. They pay attention to the details. It was very clean and was a great stay overall. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Location was great. Will 100% go back for another staycation.
If I can give this absolutely beautiful hotel 10000000 stars I would. From the art work, to the cleanliness all around everything was spotless! The amenities are AWESOME, the rooms are GORGEOUS. The beds are so comfortable I did not even know I fell sleep, until my alarm went off for breakfast which was such an outstanding spread that looked just as good as it tasted. Above all, what truly makes it one of a kind is the staff. Shout out to Jon, Amadi, Kiem, Christina, and EVERYONE else (So sorry forgot to get your names). You guys are truly rare! Please do not ever change! Thank you for your time, service, and overall amazing beautiful energy. I honestly did not want to leave, and debated living there lol I cannot see myself staying anywhere else ever again in Houston. I truly adore you all, and Thank you again for EVERYTHING!

OMG the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Stayed there in March for my birthday. Greeted like a queen. Very attentive to my needs. Juan and Kayley the front desk agents that I encountered the most at the hotel were beyond exceptional. On my birthday my dress chain broke & Kayley helped me to fix it. Amy the bartender was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The manager Tom has an exceptional group of staff for sure! Breakfast was phenomenal
Service was excellent! The valet and staff were extremely helpful and thoughtful. Location was perfect!
