I am writing this review for my Grandson who is attending Tx A&M university. He moved into this complex on 5 Aug and was told the apartment was ready for move in. The apartment was very dirty. There was thick dust all over the outlets. Hair & blade in the washer. Human waste still in the toilet seats. Imagine moving into an apartment that still has bodily waste from another tenant. You don’t know if they had diseases. The place smells musty and then my daughter found that the AC had stagnated water and black stuff that looked like mold. The showers still had rings. She is a disabled veteran and had to clean the place herself which took her 5 days to clean the apartment and she was then in a lot of pain and got respiratory infection after trying to clean all the dust that was in the AC. My daughter put in several emergency work orders to get some stuff fixed and even spoke to the new manager where she said she would get it fixed and that was September 3. Nothing has been done. What should they expect when they didn’t even bother trying to clean the apartment when they moved in as well. Customer service is bad. Bait and switch on what apartment would look like. They didn’t even reply to a BBB complaint my daughter made. Make sure you have them show you the actual apartment you will be leasing.
My daughter even said that maintenance closed out the work orders she placed & they never came to fix the washer, the sink or the AC with Mold. Then when she got out of the lease, Gabby was calling people about their work orders & maintenance was there and he made a gesture to Gabby about my daughter being there and Gabby loudly said, “yeah, I don’t care” & continued to call residents. Management was horrible. I’m glad my grandson got out of the lease.

The place has definitely gone down hill since the new management company Internacional took over.

Trash and discarded furniture litter the front and everywhere else on the property, management doesn’t seem to mind the look since nothing ever gets done to clean it up. Definitely NOT luxurious.

Trash litters the inside of hallways and stairwells since residents leave out garbage which causes rodents to openly call it home. If you don’t mine coming home to roaches, possums and raccoons in the hallways you’ll love this place.

For the price of rent here, I would definitely consider looking else where for a “luxurious” apartment.

[Month and a half update at the end] They will take a month to send maintenance in but will tow your car at 6am with no warning and before 48 hours. Front door won't close the door seal is broken so dust gets in, ceiling fan is not working, fire alarm is super sensitive. Honestly i could stand this but getting my car towed without even having enough time to register the vehicle with the damn paper license plate. I had registered my previous truck but i didn't have time to register this car. Really ruined the whole experience for me in these apartments. All of this on the date rent's due. My expenses are tight this day of the month and they pull this on me. Ill be looking at other places once this lease is up. Would not recommend, as your first Appartement either. Oh and the gym is empty, who knows how long it's been like that. Oh and the pool, its always being closed for either chemical imbalance or some sanitary reason. They can't pull the "we have policy" card since ive seen at least two pitbulls around the apartments, which surprise, goes against the contract. Im disappointed in this apartment complex.
[Update] not long after i got my car broken into, so much for a safe gated community.
Today about a month and a half later, i received the new permanent plates, forgot to update the plates and surprise surprise, my car got towed. I was healing from a wisdom tooth so didn't notice until two days later that my car was missing. Then management brushed me off with the oh its because you have to change them on the system and basically the tow company comes whenever they like to take cars away. But thank you, now i know what type of apartments to avoid leasing with in the future

I have been living here a year and a half. It is not a bad place to live however there is a pest problem which is hard to get rid of even if you have the pest control they provide come and spray. I never got a trash can, so I have to put my trash outside my door which invites critters to come, and rip open my trash bags. If you have friends over, you have to ensure you register their car- even if they are staying 2 hours. I had a friend who came to visit here, and he wasn't even here two hours, and they towed his car, now he doesn't want to come back.just very annoying.

Update: Living here has been a breath of fresh air from my old apartment. The maintenance have been so kind and hard working, so I want to give a shout out to them for all they do- especially David and Genaro who did my recent maintenance request:)

MILITARY FOLKS BEWARE!
I think you should relocate out of this part of town if at all possible. I am currently serving in the Air Force and signed this lease since I thought it would be a nice place to live. I was completely incorrect. Apartment and neighborhood are quite unsafe, despite the helpfulness of the staff and maintenance crew. An order containing $225 worth of clothing was stolen from the front of my door, and my car was broken into. Unfortunately, a car was taken from the parking lot, and the security cameras are broken so the apartment complex does not invest in the safety of its residents. I was a resident for around seven months, and during six of those, the gate remained inoperable. Strangers were strolling aimlessly around the area. I didn't feel safe, and someone shot gunfire in the parking lot. It states it takes you 30 minutes to travel to base if you're stationed at Randolph, but in reality it takes you 45-60 minutes due to terrible traffic. The first of June has come and gone, and I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned to me. Multiple emails to the support team have gone unanswered. I wish I had thought this place through more thoroughly before making it my home. If you're in the military, I wouldn't suggest living here. Spend your money on a higher standard of living instead.

Horrible management. The place was left just as it was received and still the deposit was withheld. Awful treatment to a tenant that had to put up with pests and roaches during their stay!

There is absolutely nothing about this apartment complex that is luxury. From packages being stolen to random people having access to come on site and breaking into people’s cars. Moving here was not the best decision, I trusted their pictures and the fact that they claim that they are luxury. My apartment had roaches and smelled moldy due to the sink leaking. The only positive thing I have to say is that the maintenance staff are amazing people and always did their best to address my concerns. The area is not safe and their cameras do not work you might get shot. If you cannot afford to live anywhere get yourself a ring camera and place it outside of your door. Buy a camera for your car because people will come by and try to take your car (someone’s vehicle was actually stolen while I lived there)
I just moved out I made sure to thoroughly clean the apartment because I wanted my deposit back. I’ve emailed them constantly and for weeks never heard anything back. I called and was told that I may not be getting my deposit back. I lived there for 7 months and made sure that the apartment was scrubbed and cleaned top to button. I’m sure they are use to conning their way into keeping peoples deposits but not this time. I spent two days cleaning and scrubbing to earn my deposit back and now now I’m hearing that I may not get it back. If you are military please stay away I wish I did.

These apartments are a JOKE and should not be opened! DO NOT LIVE HERE!
Roach infested, mold under the sink, dishwasher water does not drain, balcony door has a draft that lets in, AC filter unit was never changed, microwave handle is broken, light in the bedroom is out, dirty blinds, dirty sidewalks and many more! Were told by management, associates and maintenance that it was move in ready. This is move in ready? !? ! We also have been speaking to management since July 2023 so they all had the time in the world to have an apartment ready for us!

Called on August 17th, 2023, in the morning to see if it was ready, were told by an associate that it would. Called later in the afternoon and then spoke to a manager, Sarah to tell us that it wasn’t ready.
Called on August 18th, 2023 to see if it was ready since we had movers by the hour, then were told that it was not ready. Was still “being cleaned”. So for TWO days, it was be cleaned? ! Did not get keys till about 3: 00. Maintenance walked with us and told us that only the light bulb needed to be changed and that was it. As my husband and I walked through more, that’s when we discovered issues after issues of an apartment that had been cleaned.
Roaches started coming out of the kitchen, under the sink reeks of mold and a big ol mold stain. My you, I HAVE A SON WHO HAS ASTHMA AND CANNOT BE AROUND THIS!

DID NOT STAY HERE SINCE MY SON GOT SICK!

I went to front office and told the associate about the roach colony we found and the associate said “oh really? I’ll pencil you in for our pest control on Monday. ” Nothing else was done, didn’t want to help us and I told them about my son. The manager that was there, laughed and walked away into her office.

I demand all of the money I already paid for and have contacted the news outlets, attorney general office and have already gotten a lawyer on this! The landings at city base only care about MONEY and it definitely proved that yesterday. The manger had no problem taking money out that I needed to pay but when I had an issue with the apartment, all she did was laugh.

These are not luxury apartments. These are the MOST DISGUSTING, DEGRADING, TRASHY APARTMENTS I have ever lived in and I’ve had my share in apartments. Owner, Management, associates and maintenance need to be fired ASAP!

****THESE ARE PHOTOS OF A MOVE IN READY APARTMENT THAT THEY TOLD US WAS READY FOR US TO MOVE IN. THEY DID A WALK THROUGH THE DAY BEFORE AND MADE THE DECISION THAT IT WAS CLEAN AND READY TO MOVE IN. ****

**UPDATE** Nothing has been done to fix the issues we had. No washer, leaking sink, Moldy AC unit. If you look at my update review I have a picture of Mold test kit that shows stuff growing in it. I made a BBB complaint and they did not reply to this. ***

BAIT & SWITCH so watch out because once you complain they will stop communication with you and not fix items you ask them to fix.
Moved in 6 Aug 2022, the apartment was completely disgusting. They showed us a model and it was beautiful and we were told that the other units looked the same except for the color of the cabinets.
I called several times and went in on 4 Aug in person because they would not return my call and asked if I could p/u key before 1600hrs because I had a U-haul reservation 2 hrs away. They said they would call me and they did not. The gate was open so
we went looking for his apt & the exterior was disgusting. Trash juice was stuck at the entrance.   I immediately called and left a message with the complex and I did not get a call back.

6 Aug 2022, drove 2 hrs to p/u keys & was told that the painters had done a sloppy job and had paint all over the floor. The painters painted the floor and every outlet or anything that was connected to the wall.   The trash juice was still at the entrance. We were disgusted by how dirty the floor & baseboard were. It smelled musty. Everything that had a flat surface was caked in dust. Even the outlets had a thick layer of dust on them. Every edge of all the floors in every room.

The Washer had a razor blade in it and hair. The dryer’s lint basket was caked up in lint. The kitchen cabinets drawers had water damage. The sink was actively leaking. The microwave & oven were disgusting and covered in grease.   The microwave door was broken where you could push the glass in. The oven had so much grease in it that I don’t understand how this passed inspection.   The bottom drawer had dead roaches and what looked like egg droppings.

Both showers had black rings around the tub.   The tiles still had soap scum or mold on them and the floor next to the shower showed water damage.   Red stains on the entry bathroom where we didn’t know if it was paint or blood.   The master bathroom had a broken cabinet and more water damage plus toe nails. The bathrooms still had human waste on them. Poop and pee were caked on the toilet seat.

The window sills were caked with dirt and a dead roach.   Window screens were missing from the master bdrm windows.
The carpets were not new.   We were told the apt would not have carpet. You could see the common walking areas. I brought my vacuum but while I was vacuuming it looked I was seeing stuff pop up from the carpet. The carpet was easy to lift and it did not look like they had padding.   The master bedroom closet carpet was bulky like something was underneath it.   I was afraid to lift it up as to what I would find under it.

I went to the front office and spoke to Gabby who was the only one there and told her that I was extremely frustrated.   I could not talk because I was so angry and crying over the condition of this apt. I was calm enough to wait for the other customers to leave before I started crying and did not cause a scene which I should have.

I am allergic to mold & excessive dust. Later that night after returning home I was having breathing issues. My son woke up the next with headache when he does not get headaches.

The quality and cleanliness of this apartment is a tremendous disappointment.   We signed a 21 month lease & we had no choice to not take the apartment as we had already spent over $800 for a rental, movers and gas to move my son into the apt.

My son’s only concern was to concentrate on his studies. Now he is stressing over the condition of the apt. As a Disabled Veteran this has flared up my anxiety.

I have lived at the landings for a year now, I just resigned my lease. I have lived in many apartments in San Antonio so I acknowledge the struggles that apartment management have and the needs of residents, especially post pandemic. While yes all apartments aren’t going to be perfect, the current management is thoughtful and they really want to create a great living experience for its residence. When it comes to emergency maintenance requests, they will help as soon as possible. I appreciate the events staff puts on and the great communication regarding apartment safety and standards. Just wanted to share my experience!

I have been living here for 1 year and just renewed my lease. It’s a very nice apartment complex with the nicest managers (loved Sarah) she helped with my lease while I was 2,000 miles away and has made the process easy! My maintenance issues have been fixed within 1-3 business days with no issue, on that note the maintenance workers are so kind and friendly! The gym was lacking a little as only a few machines worked but it’s currently under renovations so excited to see when it opens! The workers here are very accommodating and nice! There is also a pool that is always very well maintained. Close proximity to the highway, shops, Walmart, target, and restaurants, and The Greenline park.
