The LEGO Store La Plaza Mall reviews
7An Awesome, Childhood, And Cool Store! The Staff Is Friendly. Recommended!
Picked up a 1989 batmobile and had a great time there. Staff is super helpful and great. Awesome place.
I am very disappointed with the last purchase I made at the McAllen, Tx store on July 8,2019. I purchased a chess set for my 10 year old grandson as a birthday gift since he had been wanting it for months. I gave it to him on his birthday and he loved it; however, was unable to build it that day because he left on vacation. He recently returned and he and his parents decided to build it today so that he could play with it, however they discovered it was missing 150 pieces, as it was a large set. Needless to say, my grandson is heartbroken. My daughter tried emailing customer service and they originally told her they could send the replacement pieces, but then said NO because she had lost the gift receipt. The store also refused to replace it because of no receipt. I am going to the store location tomorrow to provide the date, amount and credit card I used for the purchase in hopes of obtaining a duplicate receipt. If they refuse to assist me or refuse to replace the missing pieces, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Corporate headquarters. It is very sad that such a huge corporation such as Lego is providing such bad customer service and disappointing young children by not supplying all the pieces in their products.
The place is great, and its layout just works.
The staff are courteous and trusting.
There are sections where children are allowed to play with some LEGO pieces. The displays are fantastic all around the store.
There are different items for different tastes and budgets.
You can also buy random pieces in a small bucket just in case you feel creative.
I really loved the customer service and the vareity of Lego sets that are available. I love the "pick a brick" wall where because you can choose exactly what piece you want. Overall a good store. Wouldn't leave without buying something
