I’ve lived here for about six months now and I would recommend it to others. The property manager Cody is nice and understanding, the maintenance team does a good job at keeping the property safe and maintained. I wish the washers and dryers worked more frequently but they are working on them so that’s a plus.

Good quiet neighborhood. Good and responsive staff from the office to the grounds. Do recommend. Especially after seeing the upgrades that they are working on.

I have not moved in yet however Mario at the front desk has been more than helpful during the move in process.

I had a huge issue before moving in but Mario worked with me and resolved the issue even though he absolutely did not have to.

The area is quiet and well maintained so far. I do not have any complaints so far while moving in.

I sadly had a poor experience here.
The front desk and maitenance staff are the only positive parts of this place; they are absolutely wonderful and should be recognized for how well they handle the results of their upper management's incompetent decisions.
If I had to summarize for those of you who don't wish to read a long review: be prepared to deal with the fact that they do not staff/pay their maintenance employees appropriately; they are constantly bogged down with tasks and take agrecious amounts of time to get anything done.
To elaborate; here are issues I dealt with during my stay; I'm hoping anyone thinking of applying can use my experience to make an educated choice about living here, or any property managed by Real Page for that matter.
1. The fact that I literally went a month, an entire month, without a functioning toilet is pathetic; they only bothered to fix it when I threatened to take them to court.
2. The AC went out 7 times within a year, and the worst instance of this was when we were experiencing 100+ degree heat in the summer of 2022: it took them 5 days to repair my AC.
3. They regularly turn off the water, expect to not have it for two to three days out of the month on average.
4. The roaches are never handled properly and thusly always return after treatments; even the exterminators admitted to me that the complex refused to spend the money actually needed to remove the infestation for good; expect to have many little roommates during your lease.
5. Maintenance of the grounds is abysmal: see for yourself with a quick drive through the deeper parts of the complex; pot holes galore and trash like tumbleweeds floating around the vicinity.
6. The facilities offered are not maintained, the laundry room will take your coins without functioning, and the pool is a forever-closed, puddle of algae.
7. Despite me paying my remaining balance upon leaving, they sent me through the headache of having to send proof of payment to a collections agency.

I look forward to some insincere, dime a dozen response from someone not paid nearly enough to put up with the brunt of complaints born from this place.
Complaints that are the result of choices from someone else in this garbage company; that ultimately exploit their tenants.
Thinking that said platitudes magically fix all of my money lost, and my and what I'm sure are others' horrid experiences in this miserable cesspit.

This lack of response and the fact that your records don't display me only further speaks to how much management really needs immense improvement. *

A review again of 5 For the administrative manager Mr. Cody and his assistant Mr. Mario My lease renewal for my Apt was easy, they underwent a change of floor which today my Apt looks beautiful, like semi renovated many, Thank you very much for your service, your attention, people who care about the better well-being of their residents. The Leighthon is a beautiful and peaceful place to live.

The staff and maintenance crew are absolutely excellent and so friendly. Andrew and Aykiem from the maintenance staff figured out what the issue was I reported and fixed it very quickly. Not only that but they were friendly as can be. Very happy with my overall experience with The Leighton!

New Manager is friendly and highly responsive and the maintenance guys are super friendly and always come by the same day to check things out. Fair price for an apartment in the area and newly renovated & pet friendly.

I love it here, I’m in the back, close to a dumpster and washateria’s, my neighbors are quiet, no problems with any loud noises, or loud music, everything is fixed in a timely manner, like the next day, when we first moved in we had a problem with the air conditioning unit, at the time it was still cool, the minute it started getting warmer outside our unit was replaced with a new one the management & staff are awesome, I couldn’t be happier my unit is in the back end, it’s like living in a small house, my neighbor Ms. Janice is very helpful & happy to help me anytime, I’m disabled, I use a wheelchair when I need outside, the area living room is huge, the bathroom is nice, the upkeep of the outside is well maintained.
Cody, the new manager is awesome he helps out with whatever you need.

Mario is nice and even after us being rejected due to credit issues, he followed up to ensure we found suitable housing! Nice.

The apartments are great, the management team is ready to help with any situation that comes up. The apartments have a large spacious living room. Modern appliances. There is an on site washateria that’s open all day & night, there is a play area for children and pups.

My experience with this apartment management is honestly not good
They ask for this that and say something to avoid to give approval
They take money from within second

Hello!
Good afternoon, I have never felt so well cared for in the office, as it is today, Mr. Mario is a man who cares about helping the resident, together with the Administrator, Mr. Cody, they have made a great team with them. It was easy for me to renew my contract. I give them wings.
I hope people like these 2 men stay here at the Leighton property for a long time. That like them everything is better Managed. Thank you again for your valuable attention and help.

Mario and Cody are awesome they got me in my apartment fast and although it was a different price than I expected it's all good
and I will recommend them to my friends and family they rock

I've lived in this complex for about a year a half and since I've been here they have been under new management twice. Right now with the maintenance men and Liz in the office are amazing. They are the BEST. These apartments have gotten so much better since I've been here. If there is something wrong and you have to put in a service request, they get right on it. I hated it when I first moved it, but now I really feel at home. Keep up the great work guys! Liz, your amazing, keep up the great job! I do you want to add something else that Andrew and Aykiem the maintenance guys at the complex are amazing they absolutely go out of their way to help in any way that they can. Mario is also great, he is always ready to help anybody he can and that is always appreciated. There may be a lot of bad reviews but this property since Under New Management has become a great place to live. Keep up the good work guys!

Mario is the kindest individual, outspoken and definitely dedicated to his work. Talk about 5 star exemplary customer service when you are talking with him. He will go above and beyond to give you all the information you need and walk you step by step through the whole process from your tour of the property, through application process, and then moving you right in and making sure all your needs are met. If your stopping in make sure you ask for Mario!
