For the past year and 7 months I’ve been promised things would get fixed, the building would be level one day, the leak under the building would be repaired, I wouldn’t have a caved in roof or a floor separating from the wall where my daughter crawls in her room, yet every 4 months the office staff changes, every 4 months they say there is no higher management I can talk to, and yes I’ve tried calling higher management off Google, but of course they don’t answer. And I pay $1,400 plus $400 cps bills and it’s still hot as heck. But I don’t see them caring about any of this. Happy to finally be leaving. But no matter how I leave my apartment I won’t get my full deposit back because there’s an automatic sanitation fee so they can give you an apartment however they want and you’re still going to pay for it.
Update: They commented on this finally that they’d like to discuss further but there’s nothing to discuss, just things that need to be fixed for a livable condition.

Lived here for about 3 years. When it was the Vizcaya it wasn't perfect but I liked the place. Now with the current owners just don't. Requests for maintenance are either slow or end up infinitely worse in the end.

My AC currently has been down for practically the whole of July. However when I call, I get promised a date that seems to pass. I am currently paying rent on a unit where I have more than just a bedroom but if I want something cooler than 82° then I need to stay in the bedroom with a portable unit.

Parking has been and currently is obnoxious. Not enough spots. You need to walk past 2 other buildings sometimes just to park.

Constant police and firefighters in the area.

If you can help it, don't rent here.

Everything's been great all around. The Staff and the maintenance guys have been professional and top notch to us. I would give 6 stars if I could.

I’ve shared my experiences before when the first company took over. But just recently they decided to make the pool accessible only during business hours. I called and brought up my concerns about how my kids and family won’t be able to enjoy it, they became defensive and were talking over me. They stated since people don’t know how to take care of the pool and follow directions now they’re only allowing people to enjoy it when they’re here. I explained to them that people come on to the property when the gates open and how would that be our fault.

Then today my they wanted to do a summer preventative check and told the residents that if we don’t allow them to come inside our property then it’s a lease violation and a $100 fee after 3 we’ll be evicted. I’m sorry but I have teenagers that stay home alone and I have instructed them to not open the doors to anyone.

Im getting tired of the new office personal who have caught attitudes and are trying to assert new rules and new fines for everything.

When I was on my trip here from Missouri to move in, I was told an hour before getting here that my unit would not be ready for 4 days. I had to argue with the leasing office for 2 hours to get into my unit after they would not offer any solutions. I explained to them that they just made me homeless and I was met with vacant expressions, I spent years doing apartment maintenance and if we ever had a problem like this we were paying for hotel rooms at the very least. When we finally got in the unit, it was dirty, and we found out the tenant before us moved out the day before, and we had this unit reserved for 2 months. They only upgrade their show units and tell you tough luck if you didn't get the upgraded unit you paid for. Then they will offer you an upgraded unit for more of a deposit and obviously more rent. Make sure you are touring the apartment you are getting before signing anything. The current maintenance staff seems OK, but the office staff lacks much to be desired. The females all dress like they are going to a club in very tight skimpy outfits, and they can't seem to spell/ Grammer check any of their emails or promotions. Extremely unprofessional in the way they handle things, they don't give you access to any of the rules around the property, so they make it up on the spot. It's a nice enough complex, and it is quiet, but they really need to get the leasing staff under control with a small degree of professionalism and a little less club appeal.

I recently had some maintenance work done on my sink and although it was fixed, I was disappointed to find that the worker left a messy and unprofessional aftermath. I had to clean up the excess silicone/glue and wipe everything down, and even found a wet rag left on my bathroom rug that I had to wash. Additionally, when my A/C broke, they provided me with a portable unit which was appreciated, but when they came to pick it up, they left standing water on my floor by the entry way which was a definite safety hazard. As a paying resident, I feel disrespected and undervalued. To add to my frustration, I completed a parking spot form through email and in person, but the staff still asked for the form. It seems like they're not paying attention or listening to their residents. I hope that my concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately in the future. I have always been extremely responsive and attentive but lately I feel unmotivated and unenthusiastic to deal with these issues any longer. I believe there needs to be a change in how the maintenance staff and management handle the needs of the residents.

Another thing to add on:

I'm really frustrated because I asked the maintenance person to bring me a screen door, but they brought me the wrong size. The door they brought only fits the smaller studio apartments, not my 634 sq ft apartment with a larger balcony. When I pointed this out, the maintenance guy admitted it was the wrong size, but the office told me they couldn't provide me with a custom size. However, when my neighbor measured the screen door, it turned out to be a standard size, not custom. I called the office to tell them, but now they won't replace the screen door at all. I feel disrespected and lied to, and it's making me upset. Unfortunately, I've decided not to renew my lease, even though I really would like to stay.

Dont expect to be able to use your own dryer. They advertise as washer dryer ready but none of their 1 bedroom units have dryer vents. The plugs in the washer dryer closets are standard wall plugs as well, not appliance plugs. Unless you live in the 2 middle most buildings, expect to walk a few blocks from parking to your door or shell out an additional $38 a month for reserved parking. Why no dryer vents? Ive been given a rotating array of nonsense reasons all from digging in the foundation to "we dont want to".

I would hesitate to recommend this apartment complex. I have had many problems with management in the past, but some of the staff have been helpful. I have been unsatisfied with property repairs; I just spent 3 weeks without reliable access to hot water. It has taken too long for other repairs as well, in my opinion, but the staff in the front office seem to want to help. I disagree with their parking accommodations and priorities as well, but overall there are worse apartments in San Antonio.

Very good apartments, I think they are the best in this area. They are attentive and listen to you and try to solve any problem that there may be.

Everybody at the front office is very sweet and helpful. They brought me a card and candy on my birthday and it really meant a lot!

They make you feel incompetent. When you trun in your key, if you didn't pay a "professional" and spent money on the cleaning you have to pay a cleaning fee don't matter how clean you left it. You are unable to leave your apartment clean and then turn in the key. You have to pay one way or another. They make you feel disabled. Make sure the tiles in your shower are properly sealed they will change you about $150 for their messy work once they fall off

Communication with staff is bad and will not return any phone, email, or in-app communication. They are currently attempting to violate Texas Property Code by changing parking policies without any written notice or lease addendum AND change towing companies without proper signage. Don't live here unless you know your rights and will put up with no communication.

Do not move to this place unless you want to walk a mile to your apartment. New management decided all cover parking is now reserved. Before you could park anywhere that wasn’t reserved, which was convenient. Don’t get me wrong. If you pay for a reserved covered spot that’s fine, but giving random parking violations for unreserved covered parking is crazy. Also for our building the only close Parking is the covered parking. Take your money elsewhere.

Update: they just sent an email yesterday to communicate the new policy. But two weeks before they were putting notices on cars with no real communication or explanation.

When my family and I first moved into the apartments, the staff before these women in their clubbing outfits, was perfect and then everything changed, it took them a whole year to fix my AC unit and I have had cracks going from the floor to the ceiling and mind you I lived on the second floor, I was nervous to have family come over due to the floor, the roaches were bad, they first started in the fire place and moved their way through the whole apartment. When it was time to change the air filters they wanted to charge $5 more for that, as for the porch situation you were unable to have anything out there no towels or bags or shoes, if a fire were to happen the porch is the place to run, not the front door according to them.when gates were not fixed our truck gotten broken into and it was frustrating. They never replaced blinds never came to check on fire place to see if it was up to par.my family and I never made any issues in this community, had a couple of good neighbors but the rest were not friendly.just glad we are out of there!

This Place was Great when it was the Vizcaya Apt. Office Personnel, was friendly and caring, but when the New Management for the Lennox apt.came in It was Bad from the Git. The way the female agents dressed was non Professional and if you called them they were so unprofessional and sounded as if they did not know what they were doing.garbage service and groundskeeping is non existent.
In the apt broken and leaky faucets Pest Control No Good. Holes and Cracks in ceiling walls floors, This was never addressed the bldg where i lived should be shut down. Foundation is shifting Severely. Just Saying. No Longer a Resident!
