The Marquis of State Thomas, Dallas TX

I’ve lived at the Marquis for almost two years and have loved every second of it! The management is amazing - attentive, available, and kind. The location is perfect for st Thomas with quick access to down town and victory park. The security has always made me feel safe as well.

It's a great place to live with a lot of things within walking distance! The staff is nice, and the maintenance team has been quick to respond whenever I've had issues. The only real complaint I have is some of the gym equipment feels a little dated and janky.

We have lived here for a month and absolutely love it! The leasing staff is so helpful - Judson was fantastic to work with when moving in, and Cannon is super responsive. The property itself is well-maintained and in a great location. We are in walking distance to a ton of diverse restaurants and all of the site-seeing attractions are nearby downtown. I also personally appreciate all CWS offers us as residents - free parking, free fitness classes, and lots of socials / property events. So grateful we found CWS when moving to Dallas!

I first moved to Dallas out of college and when I toured the Marquis I just knew I belonged there! Not only are the apartments updated but the front office feels like home. There is no wait time for anything, if you need it, they’ll do it. Love living here!

I love love LOVE living here! The town homes are so cute and the staff is the best staff i've ever had at an apartment before.

The management is friendly, very professional, and on top of their job. The management team here definitely makes the world of a difference, they are the best! They keep the complex safe, all of the amenities are always clean and kept up such as the gym and pool. Any service request is usually fixed the same day. I highly recommend this complex, also super pup friendly!

We’ve lived here for 3 years and genuinely never want to leave. Nikki and Judson are seriously so nice and care so much about the property. Maintenance is always incredible - all of the amenities are sparkling clean. The pool is perfect, dog park is sanitized every day, flowers and landscaping are refreshed often. The crowd is generally young, late 20s to early 30s, without being a loud atmosphere at all. Have never had a single problem with noise.

State Thomas is a dream to live in - we walk literally everywhere. The location is insane.

You can tell they actually care about the property and tenants. The only downside is when rent increases, but that’s out of their control. Our increase was not bad at all this year and we are so grateful that we are able to stay another year!

Marquis of State Thomas is a hidden gem in Uptown Dallas. It is accessible to bars, restaurants, groceries stores, The katy trail, and many other places, making it an amazing place to live given its location and walkability. In addition it has great amenities such as pools, hot tub, gym, dog park and a very pretty club house.

Staff in the Marquis goes above and beyond to make your experience as comfortable and smooth as possible. For me, I moved during COVID times, I wasn’t able to see the apartment prior renting it, but Judson Watkins, went above and beyond, send me pictures and we were in constant communication, until I decided to rent it. Additionally, throughout the entire year year, Judson and the team of The Marquis State of Thomas, were also available for any questions regarding the apartment, visiting family members, or recommendations of things to do around the area.

Additionally, they have a 24/7 day service for maintenance, is something happens to your apartment, they have your back.

Living here for the past year was amazing without any complaint. If I were to move to Dallas again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The Marquis of State Thomas has been my favorite apartment to live in thus far. The leasing staff are the sweetest, and try their best to remember the residents and their pets.

The location is top tier. It's close to everything yet feels somewhat secluded with lots of surrounding trees and homes. The area feels very safe for being so central.

The amenities are always clean and in great condition. Good fitness room that's never super crowded, pool and hot tub, common area (with printer), package room, mail room, etc. They even provided wrapping supplies for free int the common area for the month of December. Very helpful! Oh, and let's not forget the free underground parking garage!

The maintenance staff is also fantastic. I had to use the 24/7 emergency maintenance hotline once at 9pm and they immediately came and took care of the issue.

The one and only downside is the slow elevator. It makes moving in a long process. It would be nice to have a quicker elevator or a service elevator.

All in all, I love living here.

I lived in the Marquis for the last year. Currently moving out for new area of the city but I loved my time here. Nikki and Judson in the leasing office are great and make sure you are well taken care of. Facilities are well maintained and maintenance is very timely with requests. No complaints here!

I’ve lived here for over three years and can’t rave enough about my experience.
I’m a picky, noise sensitive, and at time, highly demanding tenant. Without fail Judson and the team (Jorge and Max rock!) respond in a polite and prompt manner with RESULTS! I never want to leave! And you won’t either if you live here. Plus, it’s gorgeous and everything you’d need is within walking distance. It’s a dream to call the Marquis home.

Terrific property is an amazing location! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to live in the core of Dallas. Great and friendly staff and very dog friendly building. Strongly recommend this spot!

I was a resident at Marquis of State Thomas for about 2 years and elected to renew my lease. This community and the staff are all fantastic! I have no complaints. Any time I ran into an issue or something needed fixing, it was addressed immediately, pain-free and efficiently. I highly recommend anyone moving to the Dallas area and looking for a true place to call “home” and be part of a great well-taken care of community, so strongly consider Marquis of State Thomas. It’s the best, and the location doesn’t get any better.

I love this complex so much! Management is great and they go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need!

My wife and I toured. Kannin is very responsive to communications and was very informative on our tour. The complex was very neat and tidy compared to others we visited. The flat was clean and good quality. It is in a good neighbourhood that is quiet, but close to eateries and supermarkets.

Best place to live in Uptown. Excellent staff that goes above and beyond. Great location. I lived here for 2 years and cannot recommend it enough.
