One of the most exquisite places in Houston. I like to bring a paper and pen to jot down any ideas that come to mind.

As a student with a tight budget, I enjoy coming on Thursdays, since MFAH is free from 10am-9pm. However, feel free to visit on other days to support MFAH.

The Impressionist Gallery is my favorite.

Absolutely fantastic museum that’s composed of multiple buildings, stunning art gardens, and a fun walkway tunnel to get to other buildings! There’s something for everyone from little kids to the oldest adults. Houston is very lucky to have such an elegant, well kept museum full of wonderful exhibitions and artwork. The MFA is the place to be on any day for spectacular artwork.

Fantastic museum. Can spend a whole day here. Modern museum building is amazing, but the African and Americas' gold and art is the true hidden gem. Masks required so be sure to bring a comfortable one. The cafe in the modern building is lovely as well.

Loved the new and safe underground parking garage/museum access tunnels, fun and practical! The Afro-Atlantic exhibit was informative and provocative, the African Gold exhibit was wonderful as well!

AMAZING Museum! Love the special events. To top it off Glassell provides a phenomenal educational experience for artists like no other!

The Incomparable Impressionism exhibit currently touring in Houston is worth the price of admission alone. The new restaurant Le Jardiniere is impressive also.

Went to watch a movie for the Houston Cinema Arts Festival. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and parking in the Binz Street garage was easy.

This is a great museum, but don’t just come for the art. This is a stylish, quiet atmosphere to come do work as well. Take your school or work to Cafe Leonelli in the School of Art. Visit the rooftop garden at the School of Art here as well; you can see the whole skyline from there.

Mark Shagal is not a Russian artist. He was born and raised in Belarus. Most of his works are about his hometown Vitebsk, which is in Belarus. Correct the mistake.

My favorite place in Houston. They have new exhibits all the time. The permanent galleries are full of interesting pieces, and I can find something new that catches my eye every time.

We had reciprocal admission privileges as members of the Milwaukee Art Museum and barely scratched the surface in most of an afternoon at this huge and wonderful art museum.

I have been coming here since I was a kid, i'm in my mid twenties now and I know that I'm going to keep coming back for as long as I am in Houston. A jewel.

This year I am a member at MFAH. My 15 year old son accompanied me today. I highly recommend a member for 2. It is a wonderful way to spend time with someone special.
