The Next Step Daycare LLC, San Antonio TX

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My children were recently enrolled at this daycare September 2023 and I am unenrolling as of today. I have had issues with Becka the director of this center every week since my children began going to her facility. The director has randomly closed the child center 3 times without proper notice, she admits to not having enough staff, she has refused care for my little ones, she is not at all knowledgeable with the rules of ccs, she charges a late fee after 1 day and doesn’t inform you of it, kids get nose bleeds from being outside and she blames it on the child and says it’s allergies instead of fixing her yard issue, she has RSV and COVID all throughout the facility and failed many times to properly clean and disinfect the place. The staff is awkward, not inviting or welcoming. Please find another child center, especially if you need someone reliable this child center is not it. She comes off nice but she needs a lot of work. I recommend Mi Casa Brandeis. Defiantly a daycare that makes you and your child feel like family, not Next Step. Look elsewhere.

Highly do-not recommend this place. The owner alway closing leaving you with no care when your trying to hold down a job. Get a more dependable child care.

I’m one of those parents? When have you EVER call me to tell me that I needed to pick up my child? When have I EVER brought my child to day care sick? You need to be honest with yourself and others about how you run your business. You don’t care for these kids like you should I had talk with o another parent and she had told me her child comes home with diaper rashes due to you not changing them. Your always short staff as you say. You expect to be paid in advance but close on people and not refund their money for the service that they paid for in advance. That’s stealing if you ask me. When you are going to close for the day you need to give proper notice. Not me going to drop them off and the doors are locked. That’s not proper notice. People do have jobs where they have to give proper notice if they can’t go to work because no child care.
AGAIN I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for child care.

My niece Amaya attends this daycare and they seem to take great care of her. I’ve had them in the back of my mind for when my youngest needs to start daycare here soon!

My grandkids love it here. The teacher always go above and beyond for the kids and when I come in they are Always smiling and happy playing and singing. I feel great leaving them in their hands every morning. -Amber Roussell

This place is awesome. My kids have a great time. All of mine have gone here from 2017-2023 the director Becca is amazing and very helpful. Teachers are all sweet over the years. My kids love them.

My granddaughter attends this daycare, she has blossomed so much since we enrolled her. She is nonverbal on the spectrum and the teachers have done a fantastic job working with her. They also allow her Therapist (PT, OT, and Speech) to come and work with her while she is there.

My granddaughter has been there over a year. She is very happy there. The teachers are great and very personable and professional. We moved her from a large daycare that overwhelmed her. This is small enough that all of the kids and teachers know each other. I would recommend it.

My daughter has been here for several months and I love the care they give her. She is well taken care of as she is on the spectrum and they do a great job with meeting her needs and letting her therapy take place there. Wonderful place all together.

Staff and director always go above and beyond for all the kids, as well as are always friendly, sweet, and ready to greet you with smiles when you walk in! I would give them a 10/10 for safety, cleanliness, and everything in between. My older children have never been somewhere other than home and their public school where they are actually continuously learning and I am very confident saying that since my youngest has started we will be ready to head into pr-k without any issues. I have recommended and will continue to recommend even after my 3 have “graduated “! Would not hesitate on sending your child here! Fabulous staff and Fabulous care!

My grandchildren have been attending this daycare for quite some time and are always excited to tell us about their day. Becca and her staff treat my grandchildren as their own and we couldn’t be more thankful for them! Way to go next step daycare!

Our granddaughter has been going there for a few months. She is autistic and they take very good care of here there. She loves going there everyday. The teachers are very good to her. Becca is understanding and committed to the safety of these kids.
