The Oakley, Arlington TX

I’ve lived here for 7 months now, it was fine in the beginning. Of course we noticed right away the horrible paint jobs, the lack of care of putting everything together like the flooring, the random splatters of paint on the floor, doors, things like that. And we decided it was small stuff just to live with it. Well then the cockroaches decided to come, I know it’s a whole complex thing so they’re coming from all over. Not much you can do about it. We put traps out and it helped a tiny bit. After that, things started to break, our water is constantly not working, we call, they say they’re sending maintenance but they never come. Our toilet, dryer, things like that. Luckily my husband is a very handy man and fixes our issues most of the time. I’ve had maintenance service requests for 2 months now and no calls or anything. Our counters in every room, kitchen especially, are so awful, anything and everything sticks to them, paper towels, cups full of drinks, literally anything. And it stains. It’s like they didn’t put a sealant on the counters after doing them, I don’t know. And I’ve brought this up to them 2 times now and of course they say they’ll send maintenance but never show up. Also, good luck at getting ahold of them on the phone. Better luck going down there and talking to them. The trash is also out of control. There’s like 5 dumpsters but it’s just not enough for the amount of people that live here. Trash is always spilled out, the raccoons get into it and drag it around the place, there’s bags of spilled trash in the trees off to the side, it looks so bad. There’s a lot of hard working people that live here, so of course on the weekends they have their relaxing time, but sometimes it gets out of hand being way too loud, beer bottles and caps all over the ground. Just no respect really, and there’s a lot of families here. Oh and the “playground” they have is just horrible. I cannot wait until our lease is up so we can move somewhere nicer.

Crazy…. I got scammed too MONEY STOLE…. As everyone else… I got the approval and received the emails to my new address only to get told that I wasn’t approved… which didn’t make any sense… and they couldn’t tell me why … so yes just stole my money … and reading all theses bug issues … I wouldn’t care to life there no way…

They scamming with that move in specials. I was denied as soon as I paid 200$. I press send then the actual phone rang with a denial and my fiancés hasn’t even been verified. If I can count how many office workers take future tenants money I’d be rich. Beware! People will prey on the fact u need a home and will pay anything. Ask questions

These are apartments are roach infested! And dirty! Very filthy! During the summer gnats will be all over the grass in thousands and it’s disgusting! And they will over charge your rent! Water bill will be close to $100 FOR WATER! Gas will also be almost $100. If you want a peaceful atmosphere PLEASE DON’t rent these apartments! And the office will not so anything to help with the overcharging of the rent. It’s such a big relief to leave these apartments.

Full of roaches! I wish I had known! I don’t recommend this property to my enemy! Trash is always overflowing. Maintenance man is lazy and take months to complete a work order. They took 3 months to get me a new mailbox key. The apartments need to be torn down and rebuilt. The roaches are so bad! I was terrified! PLEASE STAY AWAY!

I love the property. Full upgrade u it in the perfect location. Mackenzie was great n making the process run very smooth!

Current tenant. Run. Don’t walk. Listen & learn. There are other places that cost the same. Save yourself & your money. Nothing but trouble. Roaches everywhere & I’m very clean. Toilet broken, Air conditioner broken, garbage disposal broken, electric outlets broken, dishwasher broken & leaking all over floor and thru the walls, so much so I’ve got mold growing underneath my cabinets and my tile is buckling from the damage, kitchen sink is clogged and the other side leaks underneath. I’ve reported this over 8 weeks ago & still not fixed. Moving in was a nightmare, they NEVER answer the phone. Gunshots were fired not long ago & the US Marshals came and made a bust on my neighbor whose not even on the lease & is out & back on property, so as long as you like living with roaches, wanted felons & paying full price for a non functional property I’d seriously consider renting somewhere else. It’s soooo bad I’m taking steps to get out of my lease.

Very fast and efficient during move in process. Mackenzie was helpful and accommodating. My unit was upgraded and clean, and my needs were met. Will recommend to a friend.

When I first moved in. It had a couple of problems. But it's getting worked on. I had a issue and the front office lease manager Mackenzie and all the management were helpful and amazing. May God blessings be to you. Anetra C.

I drove 7 hours for an apartment I saw online and got the complete opposite. Stayed the weekend and I moved back home and I'm yet to receive my $200 deposit. I was told due to a $170 water bill but how sway when i only stayed for 2 days? This was April of last year. I've given 2 addresses for my deposit to be sent too and I still haven't received it. I even called corporate as well as spoke with the manager and still not resolved. I also keep receiving emails as if I'm still there for maintenance requests.i do not recommend.

This place might be cheap but its cheap for a reason honestly with everything you have to go through here it should be cheaper they turn off the hot water or all the water all together every week never answer the phone there’s roaches and worst of all they steal your money and play like its your fault the management company graystar dosent even care i try to email the regional and the actual company and never hear anything back runnnnnn dont come here you will regret it like i did and if you want to break your lease there going to charge you 200% of your rent plus a early relating fee and if u need any help the only person that can help you which is the manager is never there i left a note on her desk because she dosent respond to anything else and she didn’t even reply to that trust me you can find way better than this place i wish i could give them no star

I lived over in the Oakleys about a year ago and that is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived. The roaches will tote you up out there. Garbage is everywhere outside. They just need to throw the whole apartment complex away.
