Food is Not What It use to be.customer service was good but the ambience was not what i expected

If you're willing to pay a premium, Ninfas is the place to go for great Tex-Mex and Mexican food. Their fajitas ate inside skirt steak, which is more tender. Their tortillas are great. Best value item is the Tejas Plate: one taco, one fajita, one enchilada.

Place was a bit tight service ok but food was not at all wat we expected i rate food 1/5 a 2 maybe wouldn't go back and drinks weren't enjoyable but everyone has there own experiences

Made a table reservation next to window online. Showed up at the appointment time and table was just as I asked! Great service but a little pricey for me. For my first time there, we had a great time.

We had the medium beef fajitas and it was a good portion for the both of us. Meat was cooked perfectly and very tender. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good.

Fun atmosphere, excellent quality, delicious food with generous portions and friendly waiters.

Price is very high. Beef fajita is best second is steak fajita. Drive in downtown houston to get there is a night mare

Brunch was great. I had the Desayuno Mexicano. I’ve eaten here dozens of times and cannot remember ever having a bad experience. Mama Ninfa knew what she was doing when she created this place.

Drinks were AMAZING I'm 6 weeks post op from having breast cancer I surprised MY Beautiful Sissys? I didn't tell anyone I was going 2 show up. Food was GR8! Service excellent and I'll definitely be back

Five stars for:
Queso flameado - amazing, both the cheese and the seasoned tortilla were delicious.
Fajitas - loved the steak and veggies (eg onions, peppers) in particular. The chicken was good, not quite amazing.
Tres leches cake - delicious, and that marshmallow top layer is special.

Four stars for:
Tacos al pastor - Non-traditional as the meat is cut in chunks (not slices) and had cinnamon or maybe clove/nutmeg spice flavor.
Tamales - I liked them. My more opinionated lunchmate said she's had better.
Chocolate cake - Very tasty, my only issue is the almond ice cream served with it was so hard it was difficult to break through.

This was of course too much food for 2, we had leftovers.

4.5 stars overall, and I'll round up to 5 because those top 3 items wowed me.

First time to this location! Service - on point, food - Delicious! Loved their fajitas. 5 star all the way!

I had an extremely lovely time at dinner time, sitting in the outside seats. The servers were friendly and assisted us in choosing the dish. The service was quick and hassle free with regular checkins from the staff! Definitely a must go places especially for a date night.

Food was blah. Red and green salsa could have been better. They delivered some really hard flour tortillas that started to crumble when I picked them up. I tried to make the best of it but I had to tell the waitress. The meat needed more seasoning. I normally take my food to go because I dont believe in wasting but I did not take the rest of my fajitas to go. Will not be returning.

Was the food great? Yes it was. Is it over priced? Definitely. I guess you are paying for good service too. I would probably go once a year for that price.

Awesome food and I love the motherly/auntie waitress still there after so many years/decades.they are rare gems in a world of profit over people. Please keep them.

Our waiter was great and the food came out in record time! Shrimp Diablo excellent but the beef on the fajitas was not as good as other restaurants I could recommend especially since Ninfa's prices are quite high!
