The Original Ninfa's Uptown reviews
15 Very friendly staff.
Bartenders are superb.
HH Tostadaa are a little to greasy.
Ceviche is excellent.
Great food and great service, though it took a while to get the check despite the restaurant not being that busy. I’ll blame that on the holidays.
Beef enchiladas was the best I ever had. Fajitas were decent. Staff was extremely professional and friendly. Habanero salsa was on point
SO disappointing. I couldn’t find anything on the menu that I wanted to eat. My brother ordered soup (which I’ve never seen in my life). The chips were SO THICK, you couldn’t even taste the salsa and Verde sauce. I’ve never eaten so little at a Mexican food restaurant in my life because nothing tasted good. And of course it is way over priced on top of that. I will never be back.
December 17. First time. Got lost finding "Ninfas Parking. " We got out of car. Driver found valet parking. I was originally trying get him to valet parking, I didn't know location of regular parking. I ride the Post Oak MetroRAPID buses. Beef Tacos al Cabon, refried beans and rice, doctor pepper.
Wonderful Tex Mex chain in Houston. I had tried the downtown location a few years back and remember it being so good. Going to this location in Uptown I was reminded again how boozy their drinks are, how yummy their free salsa is, and the fajitas are so flavorful. Even down to their rice and beans sides tasted good. My friends got ceviche and flautas and the portion size was generous and tasted hearty and fresh. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, both food and drink! We’ll definitely be back for another meal!
Wonderful! I had the "Mole" (delicious) and we sat at the bar due to arriving at peak hour with no reservation. Also ordered the Spanish Butterfly to drink. Will definitely be back.
Best Mexican food i had the opportunity to enjoy. Service was good and quick. Queso is excellent, they have topo chico. Didn't try the deserts but im sure its good!
Service was good as was atmosphere. I requested flour tortillas (I have a mild corn allergy) and they brought corn. Then they brought flour ones that were under cooked (I realize some peolike this, I do not). I would probably go again.
Deliciousness. Pure deliciousness. I love their guac and the tacos Al carbon are amazing. Also, the chalupa is unlike anything I’ve seen before. So well prepared and the cheese is on the bottom layer - makes a huge difference! You can actually taste the other toppings and they aren’t smothered in cheese.
Very friendly staff and laid back fun atmosphere for a lunch or dinner. Food was really good and fast getting to the table. Would definitely recommend to family friends if visiting Houston.
Amazing food and service, our server Jessica was awesome. Jalapeño margarita was really good. Would definitely visit again when in Houston.
WOW I love this place! I am visiting and heard so many great things about this Tex-Amex joint. Did not disappoint! Our server Jessica was amazing- she was very attentive and fast. My husband and I ordered the tamale (it was off the menu but Jessica made it happen!) and the brisket enchiladas— AMAZING! It was the perfect amount of food. We left feeling very full but not disgusting. Oh! And the free chips with salsa was one of the best chips I ever had. My husband ordered the spicy margarita and he claims this is the best margarita he has ever had- and we go to Mexico often! Haha
The food here is so good, and their service is awesome! When I tried their food, I was speechless. It's amazing! I totally recommend going there.
This was my first time at this Ninfas. It just fell short compared to the Original. While the service was spot on, our veggie fajitas were dry, the margaritas were nothing like the Navigation bar tenders, and the atmosphere felt lackluster. I guess that's the give a place takes when leasing from these megablock buildings in rich hoods.
