The Palms On Lamar, Austin TX

Palms on Lamar is an excellent community located in North Austin. Easy access to major highways and the right price.

I have lived at the Palms for about a year and a half. The Management has always treated me well.maintenance has always been efficient.

I’m glad all these reviews saved me time and trouble. It’s funny that places this bad think that THEY need to review YOUR background all while running a terrible business.

The apartments are ok, I guess, but the residents of them leave a lot to be desired. That's really the only reason for the 3 star rating. Otherwise I would have given it 4.

This place needs to be more transparent about their approval process. They sweet talk you over the phone even if you tell them your exact situation (Of course to make extra money off application fees). After you apply they get an attitude. So to save other people some money they want:
6 months of bank statements (every single transaction)
Physical copy of social security card
Sooo if a shady employee sees my last deposit, has my social security number, address and DL info, they could easily run off to Mexico with all my savings and never get caught
6 months of paystubs (has to be consistent money that is all on a paystub so real estate agents, commission or both rental cosmetologists, postmates that get paid thru green dot, self-employed anything else will get rejected. Doesn’t matter if your getting $2000 a month from your call center job and another $2000 from Uber they want it AlL oN ThE SaMe PaYStuB).
Of course they’re probly going to say this isn’t true so they can keep making money off the application fees but hopefully this saves people money.

I want to know why the apartment always under new management all the time. And nobody on the same page and taking money from there Tenets and not updating there account. I need them to fix all account information on my son information

Unbelievably rude, in just calling to inquire, including first being hung up on, after stating I was interested in a studio to one bedroom. Had to call back to hear I was undesirable, after a load of questions about why I want to live here.or even in Austin. Name sounded faintly like "Grace. " Really unnecessarily ugly.

This apartment dont even deserve a star they have bedbugs, the air doesnt never work the management is bad they found dead bodies they dont care about the community they just take your money. I dont reccomand these to anyone.

I can confirm that this place is infested with bed bugs and this has ruined not only my mental health but financially put me in a bind.

I have not had any resolution to the bed bug infestation except one treatment that has done nothing to remedy the bed bug infestation issue.

I plan to take legal action and if anyone else living here at The Palms on Lamar can help me with this case concerning bed bug infestation in this complex, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. If we are able to take action together, this will be s strong case.

Noisy, no place if you have kids. Theirs no kids park, it was removed. Pool is always locked. If you're a non smoker you are out of luck too because you are placed by smoker to the right and left their is real smoking area and if you have a complained this is the only place I see that someone answer from the palms theirs phone complaint line for things that happened after hours only for fire, flood and if anything else don't hesitate to contact security, their isn't none in place. Waiting on a waiting list to get out of here.

Overall Jose needs to communicate better, have more courtesy when a guest or resident is talking too him. Remember the employee s are the ones who represent the Company.

Pool closes when front desk is closed so open from 9-5 with my schedule never been able to use the pool once & Now Management is closing the laundry room at 10 at night which makes it hard for my schedule so now I have to work around that to.
