The Pita Shop reviews
15Found this place one a roadtrip. Food was amazing and the service was super nice. Like everyone said, fries are crunchy and well seasoned. Eggplant spreads and hummus was delicious! Beef and chicken pita were. Need more moms and pops like this!
Been a faithfull patron for 5years, Have been in the food industries for 50years, Food trucks, Restaurants, and catering, I am a FOODIE, Yesterday, Sunday 20th. NOV. I ORDERERD A YIRO, MY FAVORITE till now, The meat was a composite of mostly poor grade beef and the lamb was no where. The spices were there and that's as good as it got! It was 1/2 the amount it used to be and l paid $19. What a DISCRACE, I quest l might have to set up a REAL GREEK FOOD TRUCK, Thanks for the insperation, but shame on you!
Was craving authentic middle eastern food and found this shop. Coming from a Greek background I was blown away by the quality of the falafel, tzatziki, and shawarma. Felt just at home, like my YiaYia made it herself. The food is delicious and I will definitely be coming back. The authenticity and friendliness of the staff will be remembered.
The best.for petas.but they're falafel.meh. I haven't had awesome falafel in awhile thou
Wow.just wow.best gyro I’ve ever had! Don’t come here in a rush. They do take a while because they’re made fresh!
Amazing food and friendly staff. Great vegan and vegetarian options as well.
I have been a customer here for 4 years and quality of service and food has never degraded.
Absolutely love this place. The staff is always super friendland welcoming. The restaurant is clean. The food is so good and authentic. I highly recommend the gyro, hummus, dolmas, spanakopita.well everything is just so good.
I eat lunch here all the time. It is a perfect lunch spot. The people are great. The owner can seem a bit harsh at first, but he seems to really care about the food and quality. The rest of the staff are always awesome. They have the menu nailed down. Do one thing and do it well. The pitas are awesome. The salad is my go to.no complaints. It does 1 thing and it does it perfectly. I am literally writing this while eating a chicken Tikka salad and loving every bite.
It was amazing, the best restaurant in texas.
Everything was made fresh and the fries were perfectly done. So, it’s a great place to stop by in San Marcos.
Great food, amazing service, clean restaurant, quality ingredients. Even helped me get food when I forgot my wallet. I will always come back here.
Fresh feels like home cooked food. The owner was present and he helped us since it was out first time. The ricebowl was preety good portion and tastes amazing. Love the gyros and the falafel. Definitely a try put place
Great place with a delicious gyro! We ordered chicken shawarma and gyro. I liked more gyro because meat inside was more tender. Chicken was a little dry for me however the taste of shawarma itself was good. Regular fries was tasty and well-seasoned. And service was great!
This place is a hidden gem, food is always fresh and just so delicious. I usually go for the tikka chicken pita wrap with sweet potato fries!
Omar was super friendly and helpful choosing options and new experiences! Will definitely be back!
Delicious every single time we come here! We live about 20/30 minutes out of town, but sometimes will plan whole days around eating here.i dream about u, pita shop
