Do not waste your money on these overly priced apartments. For 6 months or so now, they’ve been turning the water off for “leakage” every couple of weeks. At first, my husband and I were very patient but at this point it’s absolutely ridiculous. They don’t even notify me about the cutoff. They are only notifying my husband. He has a very busy schedule and can’t be hanging over his email every moment of the day. I have been quarantined now for 3 months and not once have they ever notified me about the cutoff. They refuse to offer any compensation or assistance to the residents even though we can’t even utilize our apartment. I can’t wait to move out of this place. These are only some issues we’ve had not to include extremely high electric bills in only some of the units due to them only updating some of the units with digital thermostats. Others have a manual lever which for some reason drastically peaks the bill. We only have a contract with Spectrum internet and are not able to switch to any other providers. They will use the excuse of social distancing to get out of basic repairs and maintenance even though they can come in when you’re not home. Or even when the job is outside the door away from people. This place is just a mess. Don’t waste your time

All went went well, great customer service from all office employees. The only issue I was not happy about is about the return of my deposit. As I moved in 10 years ago I was asked for a high deposit of $1400 but as I notified I was moving out I was told that there was no record of my deposit as they were lost with the change of proprietors and new lessor was only transferred the amount of $650 as my deposit. Will greatly appreciate guidance as to whom should I address the issue since I am expecting my deposit back. Thank you. At the very end I received a letter stating I was only entitled to a refund of $107.78 I was charged $175 for kitchen counter top which was left in perfect condition plus $287.00 For moving after the move-out date which is false. I moved out by committed date and was not able to return keys after 3 days as office hours were reduced due to COVID -19. I went several times to return keys and no one was a the office. Incredible. They will find a way to keep your money. I ma changing my rating fron 5 stars to one star.

Upon notifying maintenance of our AC issue, they were quick to respond and fixed the issue. Now, we sit in cool comfort, thank you!

So update from another review I gave. Further billing issues have ensued. This month's bill now includes an extra $725 in pet charges. The issue here is I don't have a pet. More ridiculousness from this horrible ownership group.

Terrible maintenance service, I made 3 maintenance requests and they change the status to "Work Completed", but they never visited my apartment. I requested pest control, reported an annoying continuous noise coming from A/C appliances and reported a toilet malfunction, but they never knocked my door to fix it.
The last one, 9 days and counting to fix a kitchen light ballast, we are cooking in the shadows.

While my girlfriend and I were going to UTEP, we really needed a place that was affordable and made arrangements for our dogs. We have a small terrier and large pit mix. The staff at The Pointe were helpful and friendly during the entire application process and really worked with me to make it a smooth transition. While we lived there for a year the facility was generally clean. I have no memory of trash or debris out in the parking areas or grass areas and inside my unit I don't think I ever saw bugs. The staff was very responsive if I called or emailed with questions and the location was nice because there's plenty to do in the area. I believe my point of contact most of the time was Alma, she was friendly and knowledgeable and really genuine when she helped us. If you need a starter place or you have dogs, i'd suggest checking out here.

After all the surcharges and extra fees a 2 bedroom apartment here is more expensive than a 3 bedroom house.

I toured the place today. I liked it very much. The area is secluded yet within a reasonable distance to dining, shops, healthcare access on Mesa street and also a reasonable drive or bus ride to UTEP. The vibe was calming and mellow. I loved the mature trees and grass, the brick structures, views of hills, pool is cleaned daily before opening, clubhouse smelled great, was clean, has a piano and a Starbucks coffee machine. Trails close-by for walking. I was impressed that the apartments were built in 1985 bc they are very well maintained. The maintenance staff look like they dig their jobs; working hard, wear uniforms and look profesh. The office staff were professional and very friendly and so helpful-answered all of my questions aptly; honest and up-front about fees and deposits. Units were spacious, very nice floor plans, option to choose smaller or larger kitchen design, the carpet is the nicer upgraded version, not the basic carpet I have seen at many other apartments and they stressed that they do actively try to maintain it in good condition for next tenant, fireplace, and a wet bar option. Pet friendly and I think my dogs would like it here due to grass and trees. I gave it four stars bc the pool is nice but not as modern or as large as other near-by/similar apartments I toured, no 24 hr access, and gym is small but has the essentials (free weights, weight machine, a treadmill, bike) and is accessible 24/7. Overall, looks like a great place to live.

First off, these apartments are poorly built. If you rent a lower level apartment you will hear creaks and stomping every time your upstairs neighbor makes any movement even at 12,3 and 5 am when normal people are trying to sleep.

I rented a lower level 2 bedroom apartment 21D for 8 months and it was torture. The demographics is a wide range from elders to young and families. If you happen to rent under a family with children good luck. If the child is playing with a bowling ball throughout the day or night when you are simply trying to enjoy a tv show or even take a nap, you will hear and deal with the noise and vibrations throughout the entire apartment.

The office does not try to mediate any situation that involves noise and your neighbor. Calling El Paso PD will be necessary. Other than the paper thin ceilings the apartment complex looked great. The grass is well kept. They take care of most complaints you make regarding maintenance as long as you are persistent. Which means showing up to the leasing office 5-7x with a recoding or picture on what is still broken until they agree to hire a third party.

These apartments promote a lifestyle living as if all tenants here will be kind and courteous. Don’t be fooled. Your next neighbor here may be an immigrant family who doesn’t care if their child is disturbing the peace, or three jobless 20 year olds who blast bass music all day.

This place will charge you for literally everything!
First off if you have a pet get ready to spend $700 just to let them live with you. They charge $350 for pet deposit (that you will not get back) and $350 in case your pet does anything to the apartment, and another $25 a month for pet rent. This is on top of the $300 of deposit you have to pay for the apartment.

They charge for random things like trash and sewer charges and with everything you will pay about $80 on top of what your rent is.
The rent is really high for these apartments and they still charge $25 on top of your rent for parking close to your apartment since they have a little roof, but if you do not pay then get ready to have a walk to your apartment.

They only take care of complains when it is going to bring them money. If you have a noise complain they will not take care of it. They only take care of complains that they can give a citation to. If your dog runs out of your door and they see it or a neighbor sees it then they will charge you $100 for that. I have complained about a neighbor making a lot of noise and they don't take care of it even though I have called more than 3 times.

It is a nice place with lot of green around but they do charge around $30 for maintenance. They do take care of maintenance issues quickly.
It is just a very expensive place to live in for the price.

If you refer someone to these apartments they do take off money from your rent but make sure that they put your name on the application because if they forget to do so, the apartments will not respect it even if the person calls and tells them that you referred them. This happened to me with two friends I referred to the apartments. They forgot to put my name and even when they called the lady at the office said they cold no longer approve it.
