The Port of Peri Peri reviews
19The guys working there are really humble and good guys, service is great, and of course food is delicious. This is one of the original franchises. Can get crowded over weekends.
We got peri peri delivered to us. We ordered 4 all white chicken medium heat. It came with their signature peri peri sauce and garlic sauce. The food was delicious and completely Halal. I personally loved it and I recommend this place.
The food was amazing for the price, and best of all as a broke college student, it was a very large portion.
One of my favorite places for grilled chicken! The perimayo corn is really tasty. Hot, Extra hot, and Lemon & herb chicken flavors were all super delicious!
This restaurant is definitely a family favorite for us, we have been coming here since it opened. We get their platters, and the service and quality is always consistent. Alongside the chicken, their perimayo corn and fries are also really good.
The Port of Peri Peri offers amazing food, and I've enjoyed their dishes on multiple occasions. However, there was one instance when I ordered my meal with a mild spice level, but it turned out to be spicier than expected. Despite this hiccup, their food is consistently delicious, and the service is generally great. I'd still recommend giving them a try.
The place is okay. Food is overrated considering how much you're paying for your food. People love it just because of the Halal tag, and they have nowhere to go.
The staff is very nice and friendly. Always eat from them.the food tastes very good and healthy. Mostly chicken is grilled
I highly enjoyed the lambchops! They were nice and tender, the sauce was also very tasty. I'm not great with spice so the ability to change the spice level on the sauce was a great option. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic flavor from veggies, chicken, and lamb! I wanted to go back the next day just to try other plates!
Food is really good there is no doubt. But I saw a cockroach was coming out from the kitchen.
Food tastes really good. But the only down side. The size of quarter legs some times decent size some time very small, so when you order please ask them to make sure of the size and also check everything before you pick because they miss packing the side sauces some times
Food was delicious! But soooo spicy. I got milder than mild and my mouth was literally on fire (and i usially get mild for my average spice level at other resturants). My husband got medium (he usually orders hot) and it was so hot he could barely stand to take more than a bite without needing a break and a drink- they should have a warning label. But the flavor was so delicious so its not torment without reward lol
Food is expensive, be prepared to spend 15-20 a person. Chicken is very good though, peri peri sauce is very hot but very good. Sandwiches are okay, I would recommend big family platters of chicken, rice, and corn
The food is great and recommend the lamb chops and the seasoned fries. I picked the spicer sauce but you can adjust to your preference.
Their food is always on point. They make it really good. Their peri mayo corn, peri wings, veg burger and most importantly their peri fries
Food tasted good as usual. Staff was friendly. However the tables are not maintained properly and they are not clean.
Worst experience ever.
We arrived 45 mins before time. The guy at the counter says sorry we are closed, we need to clean kitchen. Closing time says 10pm, not sure why they are closing at 9.15pm.
Please buy some new excuse next time.
**Owner need to take action against these new guys working, probably going to loose business, if they have this kind of attitude**
Met here with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. Never heard of the place but was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. I don't think anyone in our group had a bad thing to say about the food except everyone I was sitting by said it was very spicy. I ordered last in our group and ordered Medium heat for spice on my chicken wrap. Listening to everyone say how spicy their Mild spice was had me worried. I'm not a big spicy person but I like a little kick to my food. I braced myself when my Medium spice level food came and wow, it was great! I didn't think it was too spicy at all. I also tried a bite of a friends Mild spiced dish and it wasn't too spicy either. Anyway, I say all that bc you may want to know if you don't like your food with a little kick to get one of the non-spiced levels. The biggest disappointment was the ladies bathroom.the entire floor was wet and not wet like it had just been cleaned but wet like it was filthy and someone had just dumped water everywhere or maybe the toilet overflowed. Not clean and inviting at ALL and the toilet seat is very lose! Also I placed a to-go order for my husband after I started eating my meal and they didn't call my name when it was ready as I was expecting. I finally went to the counter and they had it placed in a warming box waiting for me. Would haven been nice to know they were going to do that when I placed the order. Otherwise, it's a nice change of pace from the Tex-Mex, Italian and American choices that we're mostly surrounded by here.
