The Powerplant Texas Grill, Seguin TX

Went on Sunday for lunch with family. It is a go to
restaurant because it has the most wonderful
atmosphere and very friendly staff. We sat out on
the patio and enjoyed the view of the water. I
ordered the fried chicken sliders & they were 100%
on point! Delicious! They are tossed in a honey
chipotle sauce and OMG. Best I've ever had! My
new fave! I highly recommend you give this
restaurant a try if you are in Seguin!

First visit and I was pleased with everything. The service was good as were the chips and cheese appetizer. The only bummer was that they don't serve draft beers. Menu items look great.

Seated quickly. Kyler was excellent as our server. Smiling face and very attentive! Food was quick and tasty. We will be back!

We met some friends for drinks and dinner at the Power Plant last night. The food and drinks were amazing. We really appreciated our awesome waiter Colton for the outstanding job he did. He interacted with the kids and made sure we had everything we needed.

Kaylar is an awesome waitress so a big shout out to her and her dodging the bees!

This was our first time coming here and we will be back! The 43 mile (86 miles round trip) was worth it!

This place has been a bucket list item for years! Then to have the food be so good also.the whole experience was better then I imagine! Amazing service to go with it.

We had a Very nice time. Great service and great food. Katy did a great job and so did the kitchen. The staff at the front door was very friendly and helpful. We will be taking more friends in the near future!

I had the 1/2 lb burger with bacon & jalapenos. The burger overall had good flavor. It was however a little dry. The environment is nice. The staff was friendly. Great place to visit and grab and grab a bite.

It was OK. I had the special grilled shrimp and replaced the fries with green beans. I was supposed to get mashed potatoes but got coleslaw and hush puppies instead. ($1 extra for each replacement.) We ordered fried mushrooms which I thought tasted mediciney, but were ok. My husband had the 6 Oz sirloin, mashed potatoes with brown pkgd gravy and truly al dented zuchinni n squash mix. The food wasn't "omgsh this is the best! " but it was okay. We went about 11: 30 on a weekday n it wasn't crowded at all. I loved the atmosphere and our waitress was the best, constantly checking on us.

Atmosphere is great here. Food was good. Service a little slow and it wasn’t busy. I will definitely go back.

Such a neat location & food was good. It would be so much better if they kept more of the history alive by updating menus with the story of the Power plant & decorate with more of old Powerplant stuff. The bathrooms decor is HORRIBLE & tacky & should be rustic to match the buildings history. Staff was great & polite, we'll visit again & hope to see the tacky decorations taken down.

Went over to this restaurant from LA Grange Texas was worth the drive food was amazing service was fabulous and will be going back soon 5 star all the way!

This place is very cool. If your father is an old electrician nerd you should take him here. Good food and drinks also.

First of all the view was fantastic. Second the food was delicious and third Olivia was great. Wife and I had the daily special of panko pork chops which were cooked to perfection. Everything about this place is exceptional. I highly recommend spending the evening drinking the Electric Rum Punch. Totally enjoyable.

Expensive for what you get. Cold french fries and dirty men's room. Maybe they're understaffed? Hopefully better next time

Really good food which isn't always the case at places with this kind of view. The green beans had obviously spent a loooong time cooking with bacon, and the chicken fried steak was solid. Harley took great care of us as well.

Poor management and under-trained staff. There was plenty of employees, just awful service. They made us wait 30min for at table that was available. Food was bought out in mixes up order. No knives, we had to sit and wait for knives while our dinner was getting cold in front of us. Mixed up drink order, meatloaf was atrocious, looked like beef jerky, tasted worse. 20% gratuity was automatically on bill, but this place certainly didn't deserve it.
We'll not be going back EVER!

Worst bar/ bartender. No knowledge of how to serve nor mix cocktails from the young lady behind the bar. Food is okay. Not the best, but home-made. Staff is young and not all are attentive to detail.

Really good food pretty good service nice ambience great place to have for either lunch or dinner. I'll be making sure to have meals at this place on a regular basis.

Average experience. Staff were a bit slow and not very engaging. Food was just okay. This is an environment that could shine. Unfortunately it appears that owner lacks interest in taking this to the top.
