The Preserve at McCormick Park reviews
6Clean, nice, shaded park with a large playground, fishing pond, and walking trails. Wonderful place to hunt and catch some great pokemon, battle in raids, and refill your Pokebag.
Nice trails for hiking and concrete sidewalks for long walks. Bring your fishing rod for some bass and perch fishing
Nice park. Lots of trees. There's a playground that is entirely shaded. We went on a Saturday morning and there weren't a lot of people there. Nice path for walking and bicycles. Lots of paths leading away from the sidewalk. The friendliest turtles I've ever seen. Bring some turtle friendly snacks and you will see a swarm of them at the water's edge.
This is a beautiful park. However spectators should be monitored as there is older redidents that stalk guests and harass them as they are photographing their families. On Easter Sunday our family went to take photos in the bluebonnets and these elder men were harassing us and made us feel uncomfortable. Their problem was they thought we were disturbing the flowers. But truth is we chose an area that someone had previously been and we were very careful to take care of the area. I for one thought it was very distasteful of these men to approach us and it felt threatening. They even followed us up the pathway like they were stalking us. We were doing nothing wrong and just a family taking photos of only ourselves and minding our own business enjoying a beautiful Easter Sunday.
We love this park, me and my boys love to hike the trails and even get lost in the beauty and woods sometimes! It's great to feed the turtles over the bridge too!
It's always clean, great playground and beautiful scenes on the nature walks.
