If I could give this place 0 stars I would, they were so nice in the beginning of my treatment, they listened to all my concerns and prescribed me medication that helped with all of my anxiety and depression. When it came down to helping me with my ADHD they prescribed me 1 medication that worked amazing but only prescribed 2 weeks to see how I would do on it. When I went back after the 2 weeks they told me okay we are going to try something Else and if that didn’t work than they would give me a different medication. Instead of keeping me on the medication that worked they wanted to basically force me to try different medications. After multiple visits of me telling them I did not want to change
medications, and them telling me I had to try what they wanted to prescribe me I contacted my Family doctor who saw me right away and has since put me on the right medication and did it without any hesitation! Needless to say if you’re wanting to be jumped between all kinds of different meds than this is the place to go, I would definitely advise everyone to go some where else though.

Dr. Ahmed came highly recommended to me by my therapist and I am so thankful I found him. He insists on talking to patients for their first visit and it felt like talking to a Dad. I liked him so much and felt so understood that my daughter and a good friend started seeing him as well. I had a horrible experience with a doctor before him and they had me all messed up on stimulants. Ahmed is the only one that actually listened to what was going on with me and worked on a plan to truly help me.
I'm not sure why so many negative reviews, but I have to say, I truly had the best experience and cannot thank this Dr.enough.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I should warn others before they make the same mistake.

I started with Dr Ahmed in late January 2023 for an ADHD test. He was great on the video call and seemed to really care. I got the test done and I stated that I wanted to get back on medication for ADHD. They told me I’d need a clean drug test to get it prescribed.

3 months later, finally got in at quest diagnostics and got a clean drug test. So they prescribed it to me and I had no problem for two months. (Although it took FOREVER to get the prescription sent to the pharmacy)

After the second month, they required an EKG to continue. I got an EKG and I had an elevated heart rate (due to me taking the medication that day) so they told me I needed a note from a doctor to continue the medication. The earliest I could see my doctor was 4 months from that date, so I managed to go that long without the medication.

Fast forward to NOVEMBER and I finally get a note from my primary doctor saying it’s okay for me to continue the medication. Went to my appointment with a PA and they said it was all good to go…. Or so I thought.

Now, this was where it got weird. He seemed to be dragging his feet on the prescription. I had spent over $1000 in tests and appointments (12 months total) just to get told that it was a “new national policy” that people with a history of using alcohol (not abusing…USING) cannot be prescribed this medication! No heads up. No “hey before you spend the money on these tests…” Nothing. I looked it up and there are NO laws specifically mentioning ADHD meds and alcohol. He gladly filled prescriptions when I had insurance…. Now I don’t. Interesting

The above process took almost a YEAR just to be told “we can’t prescribe it to you”. That was my cue to find another doctor.

Other than this story, here’s some other things that irked me:
-taking forever to send meds to pharmacy, causing me to play phone tag just because I have the audacity to need a medication
-I only saw Ahmed maybe once or twice. He’s a good talker, but he doesn’t really pay attention. So he just has his physician assistants present at meetings and just follows their notes.
-loved my PA, but every appointment was them asking stereotypical questions and CHATTING with dr Ahmed via IM on their company system. So basically if you want any care, you have to go through a middle man.
-any time Dr Ahmed was on a call, he was at least 10 minutes late. However, the calls for an appointment payment were never late. Shocking
-I had several friends who recommended him to me saying they had a lovely experience. They were all female…. I’m not saying he’s discriminating but there’s an awful lot of male patients with my same story.

TL;DR: do NOT go here. I made the mistake of not reading these reviews until now. They’re all the exact same story as mine. Dr Ahmed is the perfect example of a con man. Once anything in your life changes, It’s not a matter of IF he’ll screw you over…. It’s WHEN. STAY FAR AWAY!

I've NEVER seen such unprofessional behavior from a psychiatrist in my more than two decades of consistent treatment. The main doctor comes across as a car salesman, talking over people and reacting strangely to the forms they have you fill out. As a side note, the ADHD testing is very unusual, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're bringing in a younger child. The environment and actual test almost gave me an anxiety attack, and I'm a fully grown adult.

It took a lot for me to post my story because I've been afraid but I don't want anyone else to get hurt like I did. This clinic does more harm than anything. It started off okay with a good nurse and therapist, but I was constantly getting charged $150 just for them to say they would keep reviewing my progress. They are definitely just a pill dispensary. They don't listen. Unfortunately, the nurse I was comfortable with at first left the clinic and I had to deal with a nurse who had absolutely no empathy whatsoever. No one informed her anything about my history and medication and she wanted me to start all over like I was a new patient. She then twisted my words to make it sound like I was suicidal and she sent cops to my house for no reason. When I called to complain about that specific nurse, I was told that I would no longer have to deal with her. On my next and final appointment, they had the audacity to charge me for an appointment just to tell me that I could no longer be helped and they were also taking away my therapy sessions. I was fired and told to go somewhere else. For months on end, I never once met Dr. Ahmed and only ever spoke to him once. I was already dealing with trust issues and this clinic left me with more trauma than I walked in with. Avoid this place at all costs. I would leave no stars if I could. Please. I don't want anyone else to get hurt because of their unethical behavior.

Absolutely terrible. They make you pay $150 deposit and then don’t tell you your first appointment will be $300 until the morning of. No normal person can afford that. People are looking for help and you’re just screwing them over. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t the last straw for many people. Guess I’m back on the search for a mental health physician that actually cares about people.

The office will take payment in $150 pre-pay increments and pull funds from this without notice for every interaction they have with you. I felt that some things could have been a phone call and instead you are asked to come in, speak with reception and be put inside a patient room only to be charged as if you were able to consult a licensed professional when your interaction is limited to front desk staff. This is a business that cares more about gouging their clients/victims versus providing actual care. I would not recommend this service unless you know what you're doing.

Unethical practice. I have been a patient since 2017. Nothing but issues since day one. This is a pill mill — they only care about getting you in/out. They will bill insurance for a 5 minute telemed appt. But god forbid if you miss an appointment. My care was terminated after being a patient so long, no big deal, the guy is a crook anyway. I have seen him TWICE since 2017. I see a PA or Nurse Practitioner EVERY month. My insurance changed, I didn’t know I had to see a provider every month. Because for YEARS it was every 3 months. Did they care? No. I was being prescribed 50mg adderall and without notice, but because I was being terminated as a patient, he changed my prescription, and I came to find out from my NEW PROVIDER that he was over prescribing me medication and was trying to lower the dosage before I saw another provider. His solution? Cut my prescription in half, 25mg. But then referred to it, as my medical plan. Ummm, so it wasn’t until I threatened to call the medical board that he had an appointment with me, just to not insert notes and have the same issues without resolution. Let's not get started on the lack of professionalism of the office staff, you think he found his staff at “Ghetto MA’s ‘R ‘Us. ” They’re terrible! They never accept accountability or responsibility for their screw ups, he has his minions trained well in that aspect. Esperanza, whoever gave her a NP license, take it back! She’s so condescending, even when they are blatantly in the wrong. None of them listen. They literally wait for you to shut up talking just to say some dumb stuff that makes no sense. Don’t expect them to scroll all the way down on your notes I’m not a Karen, I would call respectfully and then be spoken to like I didn’t know what the hell I was talking about. But Jesus, who recruits these people? The worse staff I have ever ever experienced. Maybe two NP that weren’t totally incompetent. I have been requesting my medical records for WEEKS. Weeks. && Don’t get me started on the difficulty receiving refills to your pharmacy! E V E R Y M O N T H. This is the most incompetent, worse patient care clinic I have ever heard, personally experienced and it saddens me that I have received care from this awful place. This clinic is what is wrong with Health Care and what contributes to the sigma of terrible mental health care. It’s not normal for clients to have depression for 6 years. It’s not normal to not see YOUR doctor but 2 times in 6 years. They are milking insurance companies, committing fraud and this clinic is not seeking your best interests or really a solution to any of your problems. I’m shocked they have not been reported before. I will be reporting this clinic. Please seek healthcare with more of a caring facility, this place doesn’t deserve business.

The professional staff is good. The front desk staff needs a lot of work. You shouldn't be hanging up on clients or not answering the phones in a decent amount of time when you are dealing with people with mental health issues such as anxiety. Please train your staff on proper etiquette.

Unethical practice. My daughter has been under Dr Ahmeds care for almost 3 years, per office staff we missed an appointment so her care will be terminated! This is a a.mental health practice, how do you just terminate care in the midst of treatment for something so trivial! Let's not get started on the lack of professionalism of the office staff and the "certified nurses", as well as difficulty receiving refills to your pharmacy!

I started seeing Dr Ahmed when I was 15. I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until I was 25 and learned about ADHD symptoms on my own and requested evaluation. I remember sitting in his office (or his PA’s rather) as a struggling high school student, explaining how I couldn’t even begin my homework because the weight of my workload gave me anxiety and so I avoided it. I was diagnosed with Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder and was prescribed an anxiety pill that made me sleep instead of concentrate. The bulk of my trauma as an adult is a direct consequence of being misdiagnosed by Dr Ahmed. I am 27 now and am seeing a different psychiatrist for the first time and it’s insane how I am actually listened to. I won’t dive into a recent prescription that negates the effect of my birth control, a birth control that I had been on for 7 years. They claimed to have no record of my birth control. It’s absurd to see a psychiatrist who will misdiagnose and prescribe counter intuitive medications, while I, the patient, do the actual research. Why did I have to ASK for an ADHD evaluation. Why wasn’t this considered in 2010.
