The Resale Shop reviews
16Filthy unorganized place. Things are just shoved on shelves, whole or broken. Definitely needs a good scrub and organization. Very depressing atmosphere.
I went to Goodwill to buy a bed rails. They had some queen size ones for almost $50 then I went to after school America and they had the king size ones that I was looking for for $15. Goodwill just lost a good customer.
Stopped in just to see what they had Sunday Sept 11 and everything was a $1. Dresses and all. New and used items. A lot of Name brands. Got over $200 worth of clothes for $9. Got One dress came from Dillards $100. For $1. So glad I stopped. Wonderful deals.
I love this place! It's a big store and it is chock-full of goodies. Sometimes overflowing. I like to repurchase and rework things. I bought this dining chair that has carvings on the top for $10. It needed a little work and paint. It turned out great for me. Can't wait for my next "Find"!
Rude rude rude One lady was so rude that I will not donate there again.she would not even look at me when she spoke - I have given to them several times in 5 years and the majority of the time ignored but that is fine- prefer it - I wont be back -
I'm a reseller and I find some really great items here. But to be honest, the staff act like they don't want to be there or want customers to feel welcome. Rarely am I greeted or thanked for shopping/donating. Just don't understand why everyone is so sour all the time. And if you are grossed out by mess, don't go here. It's worth digging through to me. It's a great charity but sometimes I just don't want to deal with the attitude and dirt.
9 times out of 10 anyone can find something they love here and the employees are super friendly
I found the "The Resale Shop"
We just moved to Granbury. I will be back and shop some more.
They had a really good sale today ($1 all clothing) which was a great deal, and lots to choose from too. However, I must throw in a "but". But, in the other section with home decor and glasses and dishes and such.there was a whole lot of broken items, almost more so than undamaged ones. And.their sterling silver jewelry is WAY over priced. Like big time.really should consider being more competitive and affordable as it is a resale shop, and not even an upscale kind of resale shop. No offense because i do like this place. Just being honest.
Quite cluttered but still a good place to go bargain hunting at. Prices are not easily identifiable unless you are able to find the one or two signs posted sporadically around the store or know what the color of zip ties means. Clothing is what we mainly buy here but be careful. They do sell stained items so check things well before you buy them. Still a great place to dig into if you're looking for a good thrift store.
Wasn’t very impressed with the type of stuff selling maybe if I browse daily I would find something. I didn’t really like the fact that all clothes regardless of size are bunched and mixed up. As someone who is already overweight, I wouldn’t really like to spend 2 hours to find maybe 3-5 Xl shirts. Finding clothes my size is already hard. Also I’d say beware when touching glass here there seems to be some broken glass in some places. I cut my finger today without realizing the box with tiny candle holders had broken glass. It really hurt, and bleed a lot.
I want to share this place with everyone! I have brought all of my family here. These girls work very hard and they have been a blessing to me and my fire station! Thank you ladies for all you do!
I like to go into the resale shop. You never know what treasures you will find. Today I found some really nice golf clubs and a cute Welcome ceramic sign that reminded me of the beach. All of the employees are nice and always working hard. They do their best to please people.
If I could leave 0 stars I would most rudest inconsiderate people. We call to see if they were taken donations they said yes we even told them what we were bringing and they said great will take it got there they were rude and would not accept the donations because it was afternoon and less it fit in one shopping cart and we had the feel of shopping Garner self and take it in.
Awesome place. The staff here does great though often is understood. Best thrift store ever!
Got there at 9 was told they opened at 9: 30 I looked the hours up thinking it was still Boys and Gifls club per website. The lady was very rude I spent 40.00 and not even a thank you between two employees or an offer to help me with four stools. The place was filthy I won't return.
