Being a first time apartment owner my experience was horrible. They advertised it as “newly remodeled” but nothing about it was new or remodeled. The water is constantly being turned off, and sometimes without notice. The pool was always closed, and they never opened the other two. I was expecting much more, not worth the price.

- THIS IS A UPDATE TO A REVIEW I LEFT 2 MONTHS AGO -

Absolute worst experience i’ve ever had with an apartment complex. Issues started before I even signed the paperwork. Applied for an available unit on their website, paid the application fee, just to be told a month and a half later that the unit that THEY posted is in fact NOT ready and that id also not be receiving a refund for the application since fees are non refundable.

I call them back a month later and ask for availability and am told that they finally have something available but id have to pay the application fee once again even tho they scammed me out of it the first time.

I get the apartment and immediately am met with issues. Front door doesn’t lock, AC doesn’t work, bedroom doors won’t stay closed.

I was able to get the front door fixed but i’m still fighting with issues to this day. I was also accused of ruining a neighbors apartment, and was informed they had maintenance in multiple times to clean up these issues which never happened considering I work from home and would know if a maintenance guy was in my home.

I’ve recently been dealing with my AC again since it’s the summer. It’s currently 90 degrees in my home and this is how it’s been since last years summer and they have no interest in fixing it. I’ve been told it’s already been fixed (which it hasn’t, considering i’m home 24/7) and that the work order was closed.

Eventually this was "fixed" after admitting that my AC is so old they no longer sell parts for it, but they pulled a old part from one of the old units and installed it. Now my house is a whopping 80 degrees at all times.

Sidewalks are over ran by bushes. The yards are filled with dog poop from owners who don’t care and mud from storms that you can’t avoid due to the sidewalk issue above. Don’t expect anything to ever happen from maintenance requests. People will take your paid parking spot and they do nothing about it.

Water gets shut off multiple times a week for maintenance.

If there was a way to end the lease without having to pay some absurd amount considering these can barely pass as apartments I would.

Pro - good food around here
Cons - literally everything else

I been living on this apartments for over 6 years now, at first they were fine but now after almost 4 OWNERS! These apartments are the worst you can live in. Water shut offs everyday, they will shut the water off for an entire complex, when only one building needs it! One pool was left unmanaged during COVID, 3 years later they never bothered to clean it, so with the rains, stagnant water just sit there filled with mosquitoes, gnats, and roaches, will submit pictures of it. Called them about it, all I was told was that the pool was closed permanently, and she didn't know what management was gonna do about it. Oh let's not forget that the CITY closed down ALL pools in the entire apartment complex FOR NOT CLEANING IT AND MAINTAINING IT. As I write this (without water having to filled buckets in order to use the toilet) we had to go all the way to the side of their office to filled up buckets of water and gallons as well. Stay away from these apartments!

I take back anything positive I've said about this place. Water is randomly shut off all the time for who knows how long. Not one of our work orders in 2 years has been addressed or even acknowledged. (they replaced our dishwasher but only because the old one was from the 1980's and no parts could be found they also replaced our dryer for one that barely- if at all- functions it also had no knobs and no lint screen when we got it.) This is a terrible place ran by terrible people with terrible maintenance and terrible prices. We cannot WAIT to leave this garbage pit. They will come into your home unannounced with no reason. The communal laundry costs twice as much as the laundromat across the street, and is always out of order. The pools were closed for over a year because of "paperwork. " (i.e. Poor maintenance that didn't allow them to open it.) The ONLY saving grace for this place was the price, but now we pay more for worse service. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE

ALSO: As of this time is is actually impossible to access your lease agreement through the online portals.

Let me start off by saying, this place was great until they got taken over by new management. When we first moved in back in 2021 we had little no no isssues with maintenance or noise or anything of the sorts. When we resigned in may of 2022, I had no clue my husband had to sign the new lease as well. They call me 2 months (july 2022) later to get him to sign the lease which should've been up this july right? Wrong. Their system reports my lease ended in June and I didn't receive a copy of my 2022 lease. I was charged $300 on top of my regular $675 rent (for a 500 sqft apartment I might add). Thankfully the charge was dropped due to miscommunication and misinformation. I resigned for another six months and the manager asked "Awe not another year? Why? " Well if you look around you'll see why.

Now to issues that have become more recent and quite frankly very very VERY annoying. My AC is broken. Doesn't keep up with this Texas heat and LEAKS WATER SO BAD THE WOOD IS ROTTED. We reported it to maintenance and they said it was basically nothing and took my vent cover off and said he would return the next day to put it back on. 3-4 month later, the vent is still off. The maintenance people do so poorly at responding to issues and respecting peoples privacy.they come in unannounced and half way fix things. They leave big parts of equipment (as shown in the picture) out in the open for any one or any pet to hurt themselves on.

Recently the water has been shut off 3-4 times in this past week (with late notice I might add) and we have to use vacant units to take showers, get water, etc. Its very frustrating. And the communal laudry costs more than the Tornado Laundry right next door.

Lastly, the pool was closed for the entire 2022 Summer due to "paperwork" but as seen in most reviews here, thats a lie. The City had to fine them for not upkeeping the pools. They finally had them fixed this year thank God. But doesn't excuse the issue for last year.

We leave in a few more months and we can not WAIT. Please do not rent from these people!

I used to live at this apartment complex, and it was a relatively pleasant experience. Recently, I tried to get back into TPM, and my lord, the entire thing has become painful. I have resigned myself to abandon all hopes of living here again.

They're under new ownership; and my attempt went like this. I go into the office, and the 'customer service' people will not answer questions or give a price quote; they just repeat that you have to apply online. So I try to apply online, it says there are a number of units available on my move-in date; I hit apply, but it keeps saying no units available. I call the office, but they keep saying things like "You have to apply online, " and that it's a new system, but it couldn't be saying what it's saying.

So, I return to the office with my laptop and show them that it is in fact showing what I claimed. I get an eye roll. I ask if I can talk to the manager, and they say the manager will be back Monday. I come back Monday, and the same ladies who told me to come back Monday act legitimately mad that I'm asking to talk to the manager. The manager asks if I would prefer speaking to them, and I said no.

The manager assisted me with the process, but sent me back to the others for the application fee and the deposit. They say that they'll let me know soon if the app is accepted.

Weeks later, there's no news. I go in and they say that they're not sure why the app hasn't been approved or denied. Later, they get with me and let me know that I need to pay more fees before the app can be processed. I tell them that they had told me that I'd paid all fees. It just gets messier at this point, so I cancel the app. A few weeks later, they call and ask why I haven't paid the additional fees; I say that I canceled the app, but they said that I hadn't. I tell them that I had, but regardless that I wasn't going forward with them. They said that it was now officially canceled. I asked about the refund for the deposit, and they said it would come as a mailed check in 2-3 weeks.

Two months pass; I call and ask why the check may not have come through yet. The lady says that the application is still open, but incomplete. Hopefully, them telling me that it's canceled this time actually means that it's canceled, especially since that original move-in day has passed.

It's kind of sad that the changes in ownership and staff have made this process so unbearable.

I was a tenant for about a year recently. It was very unsettling that maintenance would come in whenever and never informed you what was done or that they were even there. Opening my door and getting chills knowing someone had been in there is not a feeling you want when entering your home. The first week I moved in, there was a leaking pipe by the kitchen. They fixed the leak immediately, but didn't care that they left a giant hole in my wall for 8 months. I called every week, but they didn't care. Also, the pools were never available for use while I lived there. They were rude every time there was a question or concern. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Worst place to live, especially with new owners. The apartments are in bad condition. It took maintenance 5 times to come out and fix my heat. Water was always being shut off. Every time you call the office, they are absolutely rude and won't call you back. I moved out in February, and there is still no word about getting my deposit back. I would NEVER recommend someone to live here.

We moved into our first apartment together at this apartment complex and let me start by saying that the rent is reasonable enough. However, our experience here has had its downs. On the date we were supposed to move in there was no one in the office to give us our key. We had to call the emergency maintenance man who thankfully was able to reach someone to get us our key. No call no email to let us know there wouldn’t be anyone there to give us our key. The water is constantly being shut off almost every other day. The parking situation is awful. Honestly the staff doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing and can be a bit stuck up as well as rude. It’s affordable but you have to be willing to put up with everything else.
