The Roosevelt Room, Austin TX

Absolutely terrible service. After trying to grab a nightcap here the staff made multiple rude comments, asked why my friend looked “swinty eyed” we tried to resolve the issue with management and they continued to belittle us. We’re big fans of cocktail bars in Austin, especially Roosevelt room, and have been in Austin for 20+ years and I’ve never felt more disrespected. Sad management couldn’t resolve this, we are not difficult customers.

Fabulous cocktail bar in a great location in the heart of Austin. Most of their drink menu is on the Happy Hour list, which is a bonus if you are looking for a pre-dinner drink! Great ambiance. Highly recommend!

The best drink selection I’ve seen in this “new” wave of craft cocktail joints. They have a menu that has “drinks by era” and it’s incredible! If you go, go off of the grid: get the Rattlesnake or something you’d never order anywhere else or before. I particularly do not like absinthe; I ordered two drinks that had that as a supporting ingredient and loved them!

The bottle/ingredient selection is second to none. The drinks are worth the money so if your looking for bargain booze, go to Costco.

The ambiance is louder than a typical speak easy but the decor and music do not displace the vibe you get there. The French movies with subtitles on the big screen were an odd welcoming subject during conversations at our table.

Don't hesitate. Go have some fun. Spend some money on good booze - you earned!

This place is definitely one of a kind. Amazing decor, ambiance and aesthetics. The service was exceptional, everyone was very friendly and attentive. They literally have a menu of cocktails with drinks for days. It’s hard to believe anyone couldn’t find what they want. Every cocktail I had was perfectly crafted. The prices are affordable as well.

Just two sentence. My experience here with Asian friends vs with Caucasian friends is totally different. Very very disappointed.

The drinks were refreshing, we celebrated our first anniversary. The potato pancakes could have used some less salt, Tomas made me and my partner some great alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails.

Roosevelt Room is easily the best or one of the best cocktail bars in the city. From their curated menu to the inventive drink presentation, this place has it all. I’ve been in here many times over the years and they are always finding ways to keep the experience fresh. It’s non pretentious, a great atmosphere and service is always attentive. If you’re looking for solid, we’ll crafted cocktails, this is the place to go.

Rating the drinks a 5/5. You don’t come here for the food, you come for bartenders who put as much nuance, thought, and effort into their cocktails as chefs. Exceptional experience, would 10/10 recommend going to one of the cocktails making classes usually held around midday on the weekends.

The reservation is very much recommended at this place as this place is always crowded. They have more than 50 cocktails on tap and the way they craft those its amazing. The service is fast and the place has really good vibe. I will surely return here:)

Wow ya'll this is definitely a hot spot and the place to be for the night life when you're in Austin, TX! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was the best ever. Thank you for the time of our lives, we'll be back.
