The Sage Oak reviews
9Sage Oak has really been a remarkable place for my mother who has fairly progressed MS. The facilities and the attention of the nurses and staff is what captured our initial attention. I can say that over the years that attention and care for my mom is the same as it was when we walked through the door a few years ago. My brother and I are both in opposite ends of the country, so the peace of mind that Sage Oak is taking care of my mom is crucial. We are very happy with the services and attention to detail that they provide.
Sage Oak has taken great care of my fully disabled mother. The ratio of staff to patients and homestyle accommodations allow for more time from staff to devote to residents. Staff is professional and are true caregivers at heart. My brother and I live out of state but receive frequent updates including photos. Highly recommend!
A Truly Exceptional Assisted Living Experience!
We’ve had the pleasure of visiting and experiencing the wonderful environment of Sage Oak, and as fellow community providers to an aging population with medical needs, it has exceeded all our expectations. Every one of their facilities has an undeniable sense of belonging.
The staff at Sage Oak are true gems. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the residents is truly admirable. They go above and beyond to ensure that each individual's needs are met, and their unwavering support and encouragement create an atmosphere of trust and comfort.
The living spaces at Sage Oak are beautifully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and functionality and decor that creates a homely atmosphere. The rooms are well-maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable living experience.
One aspect that truly sets Sage Oak apart is the safety and security they provide. The staff's round-the-clock availability and attentiveness further enhance the overall sense of comfort and dignity for patients with different disease trajectories and conditions.
Sage Oak truly exemplifies what an assisted living should be. Every aspect of their communities is designed to enhance the quality of life for its residents. If you are searching for a place where your loved ones will be cared for with respect, dignity, and kindness, we wholeheartedly recommend the Sage Oak Community. It is a truly remarkable difference in how they set apart from the rest. We’ve seen it through our own patient experiences and can attest to the peace of mind they bring to both residents and their families.
Sincerely and with Admiration,
Knights of Comfort Hospice
My mother is currently at Sage Oak and loves it. It’s a warm, nurturing home rather than a facility. I live in another state, but mom raves about the staff treating her like family, especially the house manager Alicia and the nursing director Juanita.
Mom has decided she wants to stay long-term versus moving back home. This was always my hope because Sage Oak does for mom what she can’t do for herself. I strongly believe mom will be around a lot longer because of the level of care provided - Sage Oak makes sure she goes to all her doctor’s’ appointments, eats healthy, and has human interactions.
Hospice care here. The staff is wonderful and they really seemed to care about their patients. If I had to go into hospice I would go here
We placed my beloved uncle at Sage Oak when he could no longer live alone. In this difficult staffing crunch they maintained consistent personnel who were incredibly compassionate and took amazing care of my uncle.
Each time I went to visit, everyone was excited to see me and my family. The home smelled nice and often of the meal recently
prepared. My uncle was always clean, groomed and dressed appropriately for the day. The staff frequently sent photos and updates when I could not make it by to see him.
At his end of life, everyone was attentive to his needs and pain management. Despite his bed bound condition, he did not develop bed sores or other common complications further proving the staff’s unwavering dedication to care and attention to detail. They truly loved him.
Mom had been in the hospital for about a month with some serious problems. Doctors advised she needed to leave her home and go to skilled nursing. I did not think the level they insisted was necessary, and chose a more relaxed peaceful environment. My selection has EXCEEDED my expectations. The progress the staff has made with her is amazing. Everyday is an improvement and everyday I see a comfort in her face that she feels safe, feels respected, and feels cared for. I would HIGHLY recommend this style of senior living over a larger campus. Mom is proof of the winning dynamics.
I sincerely wish we'd discovered Sage Oak Communities when we began this journey with our mother. She was diagnosed with dementia several years ago, and the residences she's lived in since moving out of her house treated her like, well, someone with dementia and not like the person she is. There are plenty of examples but I'm not here for that.
Since mom moved into the Aberdeen house, she has been so much more herself, it's difficult to describe. I'm here to thank the owner and management of Sage Oak Communities for creating an atmosphere and training staff to support the residents in such a way that they can thrive rather than exist. I'm here especially to thank the staff at Aberdeen house for the care and respect they show mom. Thank you all. We are very, very grateful!
