The Schoolhouse was everything I was looking for, for our small wedding. The building is beautiful with great outdoor areas. The team is great and quick with responses. Definitely recommend!

The Schoolhouse was the perfect venue with tons of character while also being a nimble space that you can make feel like your own. From a space perspective, it had everything we wanted. Large getting ready spaces, a big reception area, a flex space we used for the buffet but was also our rain backup plan (which we loved just as much as the outdoor space), and a huge yard that was perfect for our ceremony and cocktail hour.

The staff was friendly and professional the whole time. While the venue can hold up to 120 people we had 56 guests and the space never felt empty. They can really work some magic for both small and large parties.

We cannot recommend this space enough!

I loved working with the team at The Schoolhouse! They made planning and hosting my educational conference so easy and fun, they were knowledgable and helpful and so easy to work with!

This venue is beautiful and simple. The lighting inside is nice and bright. Ownership has been helpful and accommodating.

Highly unprofessional venue employees, trying to add on fees last minute even though a contract was signed months before. (They switched owners at beginning of the year and tried to not uphold already promised agreements) The day of venue was dirty, tables and chairs had stains on them. Leaves and dirt throughout the venue day of before anyone was inside. Get it together and be more hospitable!

Yes you have had other owners before, in another review you stated 5 months ago “Chancee was no longer an owner anymore” Becca stated many people had the same issue with the previous owner agreeing to things that now wasn’t valid. Will never recommend this venue to anyone in the Dallas area, do better and listen to feedback.

I can't say enough good things about the venue and staff! Everything went so smoothly on the day of, all the planning was well organized and stress-free, their selected vendors are amazing, and the venue itself is beautiful with great acoustics.

This is a nice venue but if you need help on the day of your wedding make sure you hire your own coordinator. The way the outside ceremony is set up for an evening ceremony puts the sun right in the eyes of the groom and the officiant

When I was searching for my wedding venue, I wanted a place with personality. The Schoolhouse has history, charm, and character that I didn’t see in your usual hotel/barn venue. But what really blew me away was the service of the staff. My coordinator, Becca, was so helpful and thorough in helping to make sure my big day ran smoothly (even though it was raining, i didn’t even notice/care!). We were able to visit multiple times, their response time was always prompt, and they worked alongside all my vendors with professionalism. I spent a good chunk of my big day in the bridal suite, it honestly turned out to be one of my favorite spots! I loved getting ready with the bridal party there and because it was a rainy day it really helped I didn’t have to worry about getting ready somewhere else and transporting everyone to the venue! We received amazing feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed our ceremony and reception! I’m so sad our wedding is over, the Schoolhouse was such an integral part of wedding planning and I’m going to miss working with them! I couldn’t recommend The Schoolhouse enough, and I’m so happy to be a part of the Schoolhouse family!

Venue is lovely, however the young girl Becca is very impersonalable to the point of being rude. Her personality is too dead & dry to work at a wedding venue. Someone happy & joyous is needed. My daughter's wedding was pretty in spite of her ugly ways
