I always come here it was my first time with kiana she took care of me well got all glue out my hair and gave me a silky silk press

Yesterday I got a quick weave with Kiana. I have been to the silk out bar quite a few times and have never left disappointed. I have gotten a silk press and also a sleek pony for a wedding all of which were great. I love the way kiana greeted me and asked me questions about my hair. She washed my hair so good I told her I wasn’t tender headed bc I wanted to ensure clean scalp and she did just that. Did I also mention they running a special on quickweaves! I got a middle part bob blunt cut I loved. I’ve gotten so many compliments and it’s only been one day. Kiana did mention that she is pretty new to the salon but I def will be visiting her again. I also loved the teamwork on teaching new techniques to new employees keeping pushing through Kiana you got this girl great job! Thank you silk out bar I’ll be back for sure!

I’ve been coming here about 6 months. Crystal does my hair. She does a really great job on my hair. She does my silk presses, weave ponytails, sewins, quick weaves and most recently (today) she did me a half up-half down sew in. I always love my styles and my hair is continuing to grow at the rate that I want it to grow, my hair is bra strap length btw. She lets me know when it’s time for a trim and she has never been scissor happy. I trust her judgment on my hair though so if she ever told me it was time to cut a bit more I’d know that she must see something that needs fixing. I really appreciate her professionalism, she’s cool as a fan. Book with her!

I was a walk-in client, and I did not have to wait long to be seen. I was greeted kindly, and had a 10/10 experience. Kiana was my hairstylist and she was very kind, professional and did a great job.

My visit was my first time at The Silk Out Bar. Everyone spoke when I walked in and they were prompt and professional. I haven’t had a silk press and trim in years. Kiana was my stylist she was amazing. She told me she had only been there for 3 weeks but you can tell she loves what she does. I will definitely be a consistent customer. My experience at The Silkout Bar was amazing! Kiana E was great! She listened to me, took the time to mix colors, and got my color just right. My silk press was on point! She worked with me to get my color just like I wanted it, a feat that wasn’t easy, trust me. I am very pleased and will continue to patronize this shop as it meets all my hair care needs. Horrible. My child has burns around her edges and her hair was not trimmed for a level 3 silk press.

Literally cried when I got to my car. I hated my hair. Never was I asked how I wanted it styled. She did what she wanted to do. I needed a trim and she cut off A LOT! I looked like a 12 year old by the time I left and I couldn’t do anything about it because I was already running late to my sons school function. I’m never coming back and I’m mad I spent so much money to be completely unsatisfied.

I’ve seen Rantrese a couple times now and she’s my go to! So much so that I trusted her with niece’s hair (5 and her hair is super thick) after my first time. Baby girl is not the easiest when it comes to detangling and she’s so patient with her. Everybody is so welcoming. From the minute I sit in the chair, I have no worries my hair because I know my hair is in good hands

I’m a regular client, however I did a walk-in yesterday, Kiana did my hair, she did a Fantastic Job! She mentioned she had only been there about 3 weeks. My old stylist moved, so I will become Kiana's client. I give her 5 STARS! The service was Excellent, Prompt and My Hair Came Out Beautiful! It Always Does! Thanks, Beautiful Ladies! I walked in to get my ends clipped or a trim ($30). My review is a 2-star for two reasons: 1. The energy was off when I walked in and I should have turned around. No greeting from anyone like you get in most salons. 2. There was a customer and a stylist going back and forth on something, and she ended up leaving. 3. I said 2, but the biggest problem was when I sat down, my hair was cleaned, blonlwned out and flat ironed. I explained, I wanted a trim because it had been a while. She said she would trim as little as possible and we could check if that worked. 5 minutes later, she took off my cape and was like okay, done and walked to the front so I could pay. No, does this work, want more off, etc. My bangs area wasn't even touched. I don't feel like going back and forth, I paid and just won't return.

I don't mind paying if the service and end result is cool, but this place just isn't for me.

I love The Silkout Bar! The entire staff is always welcoming, your serviced fast and the vibe is always an experience.

I love when you have an appointment and she got started right then. I saw professional, pleasant, respectful and my hair is beautiful.

I will say the staff was friendly and the service was fast. This was the first time getting a silk press in Houston. I got the package recommended for first time visits my silk press lasted 10mins after taking down the pin curls. I was very disappointed I have had silk press before and it lasted until I washed my hair. I thought it was Texas weather so I blowed my hair and straightened it myself and it’s been a few days and my hair is still going. The lady didn’t section my hair and blow it out properly before putting the flat iron to my hair I have 4c hair it needs a little bit of love to get it right and it wasn’t given that. Definitely wasn’t worth the money and I didn’t get any good birthday pics. My hair looked like an uncombed afro.

I love everything about this salon. I’ve been going here for years and they always execute when it comes to my hair!

Absolutely love The Silkout Bar. This is the only place you can walk-in without an appointment and get immediate service! Me and my daughter got our hair done within 2 hours. The service is good and fast!
